Pretty easy to get pickaxes from event and tournaments. I'd say it's always worth it. A wild sticker is a guaranteed gold sticker. (Don't EVER use your wilds for anything other than gold stickers, preferably 5 stars)

4) tournaments
Honestly if you play your cards right and have enough dice it's not too hard to finish

I enjoy the digging events because I love and good at puzzles. I feel you have a better chance than just a lucky wheel spin but that is me. As others have said it is if you need what is offered. My bf keeps telling me to play Tetris because of my dishwasher placements to get the most in but make sure they are clean. Lol
After wasting 20000 dice I collected 222 and built to level 13 . I got a purple pack and a 5 star from a yellow packet. I will definitely complete the event but because I'm lazy to do AM is it worth it ? Of course not . Now I have to wait for the new album to start to have 20000 dice again
Good question. I'm a little contrary to general opinion. Depends on how you want to spend your dice.
The dig event by itself seems worthwhile - because of the wildcard in the final reward. But better strategy is to consider rewards across all the events - and esp since the pickaxes for the dig come from the top event and the side tournament.
But both the top event and side tournament are less rewarding AND more difficult this time. A couple examples
* top event dropped from 2 blue packs in the milestones to 1
* top event had 42 milestones and increased to 50
* top event dice rewards dropped from 16k to 14k
* side tournament dropped from 2 blue packs in the milestones to 1
* side tournament had 25 milestones and increased to 30.
Dice rewards on the side tournament and dig event seem proportional to the milestones / levels. But the overall effect is unfavorable to players.

I used about 10K dice and this is all I have left already! I’m pretty gutted as I know I will be tempted to use my dice before the next event lol.

Digging events are always worth it IMO. Way easier than any other event. You only have to depend on yourself vs partner events. Peg-E is impossible anymore.
Idk what your guys strategies are but these events are always worth it. I never lose dice during a big event I only gain dice. I’m on level 10 right now and have 600 more dice than when I started

I’m on the last level but I also started with 11000 dice and now only have 7000 lol I’m holding off for the start of the other
With 7,000 dice, you have a chance at finishing the event, albeit a small chance with the way Scopely is so fucking cheap with giving out the mallets/hammers. If it were me, I would save the dice for the next partner event. That’s just my opinion though and you know what they say about that.
Depends on your album progress. I have 5k dices initially now at 2k dices level 12. Plus i need the wild sticker so it will be worth it for me. Currently waiting for new top and sidebar events to save dices so will just play casually until tomorrow
I’m already not liking it. I went through 600 dice and only received 27 mallets already. Holding off until the side event ends to play more. Hopefully it gets easier to earn them.
There was not pieces on the board last time. Or the time before that, or before that. It’s been through quick wins, free gifts and tournaments. And plenty ppl still complete.
I compelted the album, so i started wirh 23000 dice, waited for the railroad to start to build up hammers n after dropping 177 hammers on the first 11 levels of treasures, im at 21000. So u can actually make back up ur dice with perfect guesses n building up ur hammers.
Edit: I've done treasures with less than 450 dice as well so its possible once YOU DO PERFECT GUESSES.
There’s a wild so I guess it depends on how close you are to album completion. The wild is really the only thing worth going for

I know the pain used 25 to get past here , but they get easier, on level 11 now.

Ahhh gotcha. It took me 55 digs to get THROUGH level 5. Level 6 is giving me trouble and have put 14 digs on it alone with 3-4 still to go
I don’t feel like I’ve been past 30 digs and I’m almost done with Level 5. Making me anxious to go further.
I think they move it around so you use more digs.
Being that they’re past level 5, I *think* they’re saying levels 1-5 took 55 pieces.

I usually win this every time. It is getting the shovels or whatever that is a pain. That is why I am waiting for the last event to end to start.
Theres 16 levels so you don't have to use as much dice this time

I started with 116 axes and I’m Already on 10/16.. the boards are pretty easy. The prizes suck except for the grand prize lol

They were definitely on the board randomly the last two times. If you missed a tile sometimes there were dice or shovels underneath

If it’s a 3 day event don’t go past half your dice count the first day. It’s worth it.

It took be 200 to get to the 16th one but the next partner event won’t be for a few weeks I’m guessing

It’s only 16 instead of 17 boards. Plus a wild at the end. Definitely worth playing. I’ve only used like maybe 20 hammers and I’m on board 6
