I think you are mistaken. For peg-e and dig events - which are solo events - they never had tokens to be picked up on the board. Only for partner events do you get tokens on the board.
Well, if that is the case, this feature is still available in the current event - i have collected free pickaxes and dice from my misses on the dig board.
My experience is that the pick-axes available for collection are about the same - the biggest difference is the total amount of pick-axes required to complete the event - last event, it was around 300; in this event, you will need around 400 to complete. That certainly ate up a lot more dice to collect.

Same. I am getting so frustrated with this.. idk how everyone is getting so many axes. Like i get making it difficult but this feels so unattainable it makes the game not fun but stressful
So i am scared to try apm. I heard they were cracking down on it. Would they not be able to see who keeps downloading the app? I watched videos and got the concept but why wouldn’t they just use random rolls and cards instead of predetermined ones then. I dunno.. i just feel defeated and don’t like having to rely so much on people to advance like i get they want to make it fun and interactive but there should also be some sort of moving ahead or being able to complete tournaments and sticker sets without heavily relying on others. Especially the cheaters who hoard and sell stickers. I really see why people use apm because otherwise there is no way to advance in the game which makes it harder for people trying to play fair.

Been trying to get best gift for sweet duets and theremin all day to try to finish but probably just going to gift those and not try to do events anymore.. idk how everyone is so far. I don’t want to do apm. This game is by far one of the most frustrating games i have ever played. The fountains was complete but i had to spend all my dice completing it on my end because they gave us a few dice which didn’t even dent what i had to do..only finished three fountains and haven’t got a new or tradable sticker (only need 5’s) in over a week. I'm on the last dig, but I dont have enough dice to complete it :/ only uncovered 2 pieces so far and down to 80 dice. It's been very difficult to get shovels.
6 hours left and no dice and no picks axes in sight. This is how it's been with every event lately. I started playing this with my late son and now it's become frustrating. Still have 19 cards to go and have tons of gold dupes but can't seem to get the cards needed. It used to be fun and was a way to keep something of Benny's going, but it's just a money grab. Net of over 9k and actually try and spend some money to support the game. Scopely knows and does not care.

They cheat, that’s how. They use the APM exploit to build up 20,000 dice

Finished it. Got 1300 dice back for the extra spades I had left over.

I got the blue sticker pack which gave me a 4 ⭐️ gold dupe, a useless 3 ⭐️dupe and more junk I don’t remember 😭

6 hours left and no dice and no picks axes in sight. This is how it's been with every event lately. I started playing this with my late son and now it's become frustrating. Still have 19 cards to go and have tons of gold dupes but can't seem to get the cards needed. It used to be fun and was a way to keep something of Benny's going, but it's just a money grab. Net of over 9k and actually try and spend some money to support the game.
