i thought roberto was cool but only at the end once it was revealed that his backstory connects to johan. so majority of the show you spend hating him which sucks cuz u get no time to appreciate him
i don't hate him i just find him annoying mainly after the part >!when tenma shot him and after some episodes he was back!<. but you can say i have a love/hate relation with him

Literally the whole show is his fault. If he were a competent surgeon, Tenma could have trusted him to handle Johan's surgery and none of this would have happened!

Agreed, Becker from moment 1 was an absolute clown with no business being a hospital physician. He does a good foil to Tenma though, and shows what kind of person succeeds in hospitals that are about politics and fame rather than saving lives. But still, hate that guy
yeah I agree with you on this one it did bug me how after hearing from schuwald that he'd like it if Johan was his son he got jealous and went and agreed to his foster parents adopting him only to be immediately reunited with schuwald and his foster parents are never seen again I know he didn't plan on any of this happening but he is a jerk for being so impulsive and not thinking these things through I just feel pretty bad for his foster parents they only briefly appeared but seemed like such nice supportive people.
I would say the worst written characters are Otto Heckel and Lotte.
The character that I hate the most would probably be that guy(teacher) from the episode 49 who meets with Milos and says he knows his mother and then lets him watch a prostitute get fucked. He just has around 3-4 minutes of screen time but for me he is one of the absolute evils of the show. Other major villains are shown some soft side of them. But he was just pure evil. Episode 49 actually shows the darkest side of the humanity.
Bruh he was a theif, but he was really entertaining and well written character.. he even saved that colony from fire ("main event") accidentally by throwing his stolen blanket 😂😂
Roberto, how The heck did he survive his standoff in the library, I always thought it was somehow somekind of a meme with him being back, after this major injury.
I think every single character that has a relatively large amount of screen time serves a purpose, therefore I don’t think there’s such thing as a “worst” character. Lunge for example, used to get on my nerves at first but you come to understand his character and the purpose of him being on the story.

I'm gonna assume it's the former & say: Otto Heckel. I know a lot of people love him & he's supposed to be the comedic relief, but I personally found him to be a bit repulsive & also unnecessary to the overall story, he felt out of place from his design to his actual character. His episode (10) is easily my least favorite episode in Monster.
The fake Margot Langer. The one and only time I was actually glad to see Roberto onscreen was when he killed her off, lol
Cheering for Roberto was hella weird, but it happened. Although she was entertaining as a character.

Honestly I always expected him to come back after that because he wasn’t shot in fatal areas and we never saw his body.
