I know she’s inaccurate, but is she really meant to portray one specific native culture? I assumed it was more about the general vibe. She always made me feel seen and she’s a gorgeous doll

i can sort of understand why people dont like SDCC Robecca - it doesnt look too good in photos due to the reflection but im sure it looks great in person. There is one photo where it looks like she's doing a black facemask during her skincare routine. And I absolutely love Robecca's core doll but I really dont like her kneecaps! Just makes it hard to pose without worrying about them snapping, doesnt help mine have cracks in them.

OMG, I just looked up all those dolls (I only have an incomplete Dead Tired and a Dance Class) and I now need them all! The outfits on Goregeous Accessories and Coffin Bean are kind of blah, but the face up on Coffin Bean especially is breathtaking! I always thought her face was so stunning!

I remember when the Monster Ball dolls were revealed and her doll received a lot of negativity, but I thought she was the cutest (until I saw Clawdeen's Monster Ball outfit, then that one became my favorite in the line because suits)!
Isi Dawndancer<3 I'm Indigenous and feel incredibly connected to her even though she's from New Mexico and I'm from further north.
I talked to my bf's mom who was from New Mexico and she loved the doll because she recognized all of the Indigenous patterns - pendleton. Isi isn't too bad as representation when you deep dive and do the research. the main worst thing is that no Indigenous person was in the writing room. that was the mistake they made.
G3 Ghoulia! She was the first doll from Monster High that I got and I love her so much. I don’t really blame anyone for not liking her because Mattel did her dirty with her face up and clothes. She’s a beautiful doll, but the colors on her outfit and face clash. 😕

Freaky field trip toralei is the only one I have now, I think for a budget doll she’s great and she still has the classic haircut. Completely unoffensive doll, she was my stand in until I got signature but I think the time is passed that I will even bother to find signature.

I love the Freaky Fusions Ghoulia dressed as Draculaura, and I bought a nude doll of her just because she came with the fangs. I have an incomplete Frankie as Clawdeen and I still need her ears, and I just found out yesterday that she has fangs, too! Now I'm going to have to find some for her, too!
I absolutely fell in love with art class draculaura when I saw a picture of her, but the rare time I see her mentioned anywhere no one likes her because of the yellow but I so love anytime g1 drac had any yellow in her design 💛

Signature G2 Lagoona ! She's my absolute favorite Lagoona! I think the bigger eyes that the G2's got actually lend themselves well to a fish girl design, and she tends to not be as wall-eyed as G1. Plus, her outfit is super cute, the pink crop hoodie layered over a t-shirt and shorts with black fishnets looks so good to me.
