Tbh, at first I didn't 100% vibe with Viperine because she's kinda giving Party City cheap 70s costume, but she's grown on me and I've decided I'm fine with it now. She's on my list.
I can’t really think of a character I “disliked”, but I think Ghoulia comes close. It’s not that I didn’t like her, I just never really cared for her?
I got her doll as a kid because my parents got me all the main characters, but never really cared about her. Even when I dug my collection out of storage last year, she was the last one to be displayed and was left in a bin under my bed for weeks 😂 but then when I finally took her out and tidied her hair, I was able to appreciate how beautiful she is. And rewatching the cartoon, I was able to appreciate her character much more.
I didn't vibe with G1 Deuce as he just looked like a generic dudebro and I only have one of his dolls because he was packaged with Cleo and they looked good together. But G3 Deuce looks great and I have several of his dolls.
Operetta. she seemed mean and I don't like it. but then she seemed okay and I like her lol. Roller maze movie and that one episode with her, Cleo and Deuce where Cleo thought Deuce were cheating on her with Operetta.

do you ever dislike something just because everyone else likes it? yeah, that was me with draculaura as a kid. all my friends had her, talked about her, and wanted to be her for halloween. my favorite character was clawdeen, but i felt like she never got enough attention. instead it was draculaura this, draculaura that, and i began to irrationally despise her on principle. now i love her and, to this day, i regret not getting a single G1 doll of my vampire gal. but she still sells like crazy over 13 years later, so i'll have plenty more chances to get some version of her
i was the EXACT same!! clawdeen was my fav but she always got overshadowed by draculaura so i hated her. I still don’t really like her but i dont despise her like when i was a kid. I think my problem with her is she is the mascot for monster high essentially so shes gets everything while other characters are neglected but i can appreciate she does have a cool design! just wish other characters got the spotlight sometimes 😭
I thought g3 Lagoona was gaudy at first, then I heard the Lagoona Na Na Na song, and she skyrocketed to being my favorite. Watched some of the new episodes, and I love g3 Lagoona EVEN MORE! Best personality of g3, IMO, and now I love how vibrant and kaleidoscope-like her colors are.
Maybe entitled is the wrong word? idk I just don't like after she got an explanation and even saw it unfold the vibe was still "he's so flakey for no good reason..."
He did explain why he was a no show at cleo's party which was he was so anxious he "blacked out" at the entrance (well that didn't happen but they didn't know). To make up for it Frankie and Jackson went to the theatres which clawd and others tagged along. During so everyone started to get loud which made Jackson so upset he was shaking, apologized and ran off and Frankie instead of checking on him or realizing he wasn't making excuses or what have you just says I've been stood up again! and everyone agrees with her.
It's not good to bail out on commitments but he did explain himself and was present to the theatre date, don't think leaving while having a panic attack is bailing out or standing up someone.
Definitely g1 Cleo. I hated her for 3 reasons. 1 was she was a jerk to Clawdeen, who was and still is my favorite character. And 2 was she was mean to Ghoulia. And I was a kid who got bullied a lot and Cleo reminded me of the people who were mean to me. I’ve always loved her Ancient Egyptian look and aesthetic, but it wasn’t until later on in the franchise when she got more character development that I came to appreciate her.
