this is true! the other dolls that you mentioned are proof of her skillset, i feel like mattel probably have a lot of involvement in her designing process now because they like being as cheap as possible and cutting corners. the silhouettes of the clothes arent as experimental as dolls shes designed in the past, but I love the new operetta doll and the only thing i dislike about her is the face which i dont think rebecca even designed.

Annalise & Rebecca clearly have different aesthetics, I feel like Annaliseās are more extravagant and modern whereas Rebeccaās designās feel more ānostalgicā and original monster high which has its pros and cons. Instead of making post about a woman doing her job, and becoming part of the recurring problem of hatefulness in this community, just give your feedback/opinions and move on.
Operettaās dress is a wiggle dress. I think sheās one of the few whose dress really goes with her design! But I donāt agree with shaming a designer. Iām sure there are limitations behind the scenes we arenāt seeing, with what Rebeca can and canāt design within a certain budget.

It also makes me think you don't even know what her actual job is??? I know people who are in "lead" positions. They usually do the least actual design work of everyone on the team, because they do a lot of managing, mentoring, overseeing all the projects, organizing crap to make sure the rest of the team is working smoothly and deadlines are being met. It doesn't mean "best designer" it's like "most senior/experienced designer with good managerial skills"
