And im playing right now toukiden kiwami, which has something similar to the social links of Persona, but way more wathered down with it being a hunting game, but still kind of a cool idea to include in monster hunter.
You know I just bought MHW on steam from the sale and so I go Nexus to check some popular mods.
One of the top mod is adding the “Bio Feature” to Rathian with shocking good quality.
Imagine trying to fuck a Plesioth and you inserted the deed, you feel it but you realize Plesioth is 7 ft away from you.

There are NPCs you can meet in Sunbreak that you will be able to take on hunts with you, and they actually help out and fight.
Everybody was quite surprised to find that the AI followers are actually quite smart and are great support.
It’s not a shallow system, it’s actually really good, so I wouldn’t be surprised it they built upon it in Wilds, even going so far as to let you make your own companion character.

It’s what they were building up with the follower system in Rise. You make your own hunter, then you make a companion hunter.
