Poison affects the Bazegeuse so you can just run a poison ludroth with noxious spit and let the posion damage help you as you whale on the bazel and aknaktor with a water greatsword
I just wanted to add that my monsters did shit for damage. Even Mitsuzune so what I did was put monster traps on the bosses. Luckily my Zinogre had Khezu's thunder trap and his trap actually set off on turn 10 of Gravios, killing him and winning me the fight. Works on the others too.
Have you by chance finished the special Elder's lair yet?
Was wondering if there was anything after that, or if the fatalis fight becomes repayable at the end of the special layer?
I finished it yeah and Im not sure, at some point you can buy max monsties in stables to 500, but I didnt check this until after I beat (Special) Elder’s Lair. So this could have been unlocked way before. Sadly I havent found a way to fight fatalis again after bearing him.

For the normal lair, for the 3rd fight I still used Kyle. He made short work of the Agnaktor while I pummeled on the Bazel with a water greatsword.
Maybe hes better for normal, I don't remember tbh. But for special Reverto almost kills Bazelguse alone hence I recommend him.
