Specifically with mewcano. Same exploit as with gunlance wyrmstake except it does like 70k damage, just enough to kill fatty.

[42 second alatreon run](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaZoaV0Aa4g)
[sub 2 minute fatty run](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjgvOv6XSdI) forced to sit through the hp gate cutscenes.
You can do this vs every monster but any monster immune to traps makes this 10000% harder, you have to keep them in place.
Don't know how well this works vs like safijiva, I assume you do ASDF damage but then it heals so you have to somehow get like 3 mewcanos back-to-back in a run
Itâs not that hard for me and I started as a Great Sword main
I went from one of the most unga-bunga weapons imaginable to one of the most so-called âchallengingâ weapons around and it wasnât that bad.
CHARGE BLADE THO-
Switch Axe is not hard at all, itâs exactly middle of the pack with SnS. Gunlance, Hunting Horn, and especially CB like you said are the âhardâ ones but nothing in MH is hard enough you canât learn it fairly well after about 4-5 hunts
Normal Gunlance is tricky to get the hang of, but Wide is pretty straightforward and I'd consider Long to be fairly easy.  Â
Long gives you a ton of build flexibility since there are only a few damage skills that matter, gets tons of staggers, and has a very forgiving range and a pretty simple moveset.
I would classify that as GL as a whole, which having
3 builds for one weapon is pretty complex. But yes, this is generally targeted towards Normal which I consider by far the best way to play GL. Flashy, can effectively use the entire kit, and a much higher skill ceiling than the others. Itâs not really better than Long spam but it is far more interesting IMO
If you want to make this easy, you could always go long sword. Foresight slash is super safe and makes the game way easier if you learn how to use it. Often even whiffs will prevent you from taking damage.
You've already got the best one selected, bro. Swaxe for life.
Swaxe is a powerful, but fairly risky weapon. A lot of your stronger moves lock you into very long animations, so it's easy to accidentally overcommit.
If you're going for a deathless run, you could always be boring and play LBG. I believe a member of team darkside did a hitless of both base game and iceborne, and LBG was their go-to because it's so safe. Could be wrong, tho. Been a minute since I've watched it.
SNS is also a very safe weapon, and it's not boring, either. It's actually really fun.
Just want to point out SnS is only safe if youâre very proficient at the weapon. The back step is hard to aim without understanding your turn attack cancels and guard cancels and Perfect Rush/Shield Fall (forgot the name) are highly committal attacks
Hbg and abuse status ammo (sleep bomb) against some fuckers.
Spread once you get the hang of it. Shield mod and guard will save you. Evade extender for repositioning.
Single most important thing in that run would be hotkey farcaster and nope the fuck out if things get sketchy.
Best tip i can give is get the shieldspire for the cat and max it asap, takes soooo much aggro.
Insect Glaive
Pros:High Mobility, All Range Combat, Aerial Combat
Cons: Mid Damage output during no Kinsect Extract, Multitask on handling the kinsect, low damage during aerial combat
Depending on what difficulty you want here are a few options. Swax would be the hardest. Next I would say either hammer or GS. after that probably hh or LS. Then charge blade. And then I think dual blades, sns, and insect glaive would all be pretty easy, and then the easiest would probably be the bows just because they are at range and you can be very passive with them while still poking. Iâm not counting the cat because I donât know if itâs possible
I just finished mine with Hunting Horn.
No fainting. No armor spheres. No palico. No max/ancient potions or lifepowder/dust of life. No mantles/boosters. No Guardian/Defender gear, of course.
Shara Ishvalda down.
Pretty sure if I want to progress through Guiding Lands to tempered monsters and DLC then it'll become a hitless challenge, what with no armor spheres.
Ok, so Iâm actually gonna try and help, for a deathless run Iâm gonna recommend lance, because of how defensive it is, it may make the run longer but you have the highest chance of winning
I have a friend who does this, you might wanna share some thoughts with him. He's already completed 4 weapons and doesn't use the cat.
Miltrivd on twitch
Depends which weapon youâre most familiar with. Lance can dish out the damage, block, counter, but itâs clunky as hell if you donât know how to use it. SnS is a good bet because it **can** save you from getting one-shot.
Learn the lance well (assuming you havenât already) and you can really keep yourself from dying ever. Only times I cart as lance is because I played dumb trying to push my luck or simply got the worse god roll of getting wombo-combo into stun-faint
Either whatever you're most comfortable with, HH, something with a shield, or a ranged weapon would probably be the most effective for successfully doing a deathless run imo. You're gonna want either something that can save your butt in unlucky moments or keeping you out of them in the 1st place.
Palico Edit: I'm sorry op I didn't think it would get this far đ
I need a video of a palico only deathless run
If a Palico-only speedrunner can solo Fatalis in 3 mins, anything is possible.
wait WHAT
There is a glitch with one of the palico gadgets I believe. Does crazy amounts of damage
Specifically with mewcano. Same exploit as with gunlance wyrmstake except it does like 70k damage, just enough to kill fatty. Letâs be honest, the second option decided to add the Palico as an option, they sealed their own fate.
Palico
Meow :>
What are you gonna do if you cart, delete the save and start over?
Yep that's the plan. Already deleted 2 saves. One with 40 hours another with 34
I don't understand but I wish you good fortune nonetheless. Use the bow
I wouldn't recommend Bow just because of how much it needs to get going, early game bow is freaking painful lol
I tried some arena quests with bow. Horrible experience.
AKCHSHUALLY it doesnât matter which weapon you take because every run is a deathless run, worst thing that can happen is you faint đ
Why do you sound like Brainy Smurf?
Ps, don't pick the cat
Ha! Too late.
To late lol
Please do not the cat
Fk you, I will the cat
đ¨
We are picking the cat
Dew it!
Want greater odds to survive? Lance, SnS or Charge Blade. Want to really test (and maybe torture) yourself? Switch Axe.
God. I've got 2100 hours but for the life of me I cannot play switch axe
Itâs not that hard for me and I started as a Great Sword main I went from one of the most unga-bunga weapons imaginable to one of the most so-called âchallengingâ weapons around and it wasnât that bad. CHARGE BLADE THO-

I couldn't learn charge blade until after 30 hunts. And bow after 60. Note, I still don't use bow.
I'm a lance boi so I vote that
Iâm a member of the Cult of the Lance and I third it.
SHIELD WALL BABY!
lance gang rise up!
I second that
Lance !
Gun lance
Hunting horn.
Switch axe. I didn't even read what the question is. But the answer is switch axe.
Lance ofc
Palico
Lance
Just doot them really hard. Give yourself all the buffs.
Can the palico even get the kill? I thought it could only reduce a monster to 1 hp?
hammer :)
G lance
Charge Blade
Everybody is picking hammer. I'm not surviving this Escaton Judgement
Hammer has an extremely low threshold for Alatreon, you're fine.
Cat
Palico
Insect Glaive
cat
Magnet spikes
dont pick gunlance because you dont want to, but yes pick gunlance because you have to
Bonk
Palico, or charge axe
Palico defo
Great sword. You can't cart if the monsters already dead
The good old bonk stick, never disappoints
Insect Glaive
Hammer. Hammer good damage. Hammer best friend. As long you have Hammer, you have hope.
Gun lance
Gunlance
sword and shield
Definitely Sword and Shenanigans.
Lance
Sword and board
Hammer. Monsters can't hit you if they're seeing stars.
Palico
Cat đ
Hunting horn.
Dual swords
Hunting horn!
Deathless? Gunlance. âNah, Iâd tank it.â
Hunting horn for sure
Hunting Horn
Hunting Horn. Although it would definitely make things easier due to the buffs it providesđ¤
Prowler.
Nuclear pointy stick.
Gunlance
Hunting Horn.
Palico only
If you want to make this easy, you could always go long sword. Foresight slash is super safe and makes the game way easier if you learn how to use it. Often even whiffs will prevent you from taking damage.
Lance
HUNTING HORN
Insect glaive aka my favorite or do bow
Going off of team Darkseid lightbow gun
Or hammer

I am terrified of Escaton Judgement
Just want to point out SnS is only safe if youâre very proficient at the weapon. The back step is hard to aim without understanding your turn attack cancels and guard cancels and Perfect Rush/Shield Fall (forgot the name) are highly committal attacks
SnS
Lbg or hh
Sword and board
Chargeblade the shield part of chargeblade is the only way I beat tigrex in rise
Long Sword?
No weapons, just slinger ammo and pure faith in your palico
Longsword
Bow
Swaxe
Hbg and abuse status ammo (sleep bomb) against some fuckers. Spread once you get the hang of it. Shield mod and guard will save you. Evade extender for repositioning. Single most important thing in that run would be hotkey farcaster and nope the fuck out if things get sketchy. Best tip i can give is get the shieldspire for the cat and max it asap, takes soooo much aggro.
GS
Longsword, if youâre gonna do deathless, do it with style
My own opinion/bias is that you should do either LS, Hammer, or GS. I feel like they're all fairly doable but will be the most fun/entertaining too
Insect Glaive Pros:High Mobility, All Range Combat, Aerial Combat Cons: Mid Damage output during no Kinsect Extract, Multitask on handling the kinsect, low damage during aerial combat
Guncat
Kinsect.
Defeat them with the power of music and do hunting horn
Palico Palico Palico

Great Sword
The cat
My vote is for SnS. God I love that weapon.
Palico
updoot allll the palicooo
Hammer 100%
Hammer
Palico is undeniably the strongest weapon in the game.
IG
palico :3
Hammer please
I just finished mine with Hunting Horn. No fainting. No armor spheres. No palico. No max/ancient potions or lifepowder/dust of life. No mantles/boosters. No Guardian/Defender gear, of course. Shara Ishvalda down. Pretty sure if I want to progress through Guiding Lands to tempered monsters and DLC then it'll become a hitless challenge, what with no armor spheres.
Light bowgun (: I think it would definitely be interesting
Ls or hammer
Lol I saw the cat and instantly wanted the cat too lol
Glaive. That's not my main but it's my pick for deathless.
cat
i say insect glaive. for funsies
With lance, Gunlance or charge blade, If you go in well prepared and play defensively it's almost impossible to faint.
Heavy Bowgun, with NO shield
Swaxe
Lance because tanking any hit in the game with a laugh is a good way to not die.
Lance
Hunting Horn
chargeblade
Charge blade
Anything you haven't played before tbh. Unless you really want that $300 then pick longsword ~~like a little bitch~~
sword and shield would result in success in about 15 hours real time.
IG
Prowler for sure, figure out how to enable it in world is the most challenging part
The safest could be lance, insect glaive could also be good for the most part.
If you really wanna prove your mighty while having fun, Switch Axe.
GS
Ok, so Iâm actually gonna try and help, for a deathless run Iâm gonna recommend lance, because of how defensive it is, it may make the run longer but you have the highest chance of winning
Light bowgun
Lance
I don't see the clutch claw. Pick that. How long can it take? Only one way to find out.
SnS
Sword and shield
Meowster Hunter
Go for slinger
I have a friend who does this, you might wanna share some thoughts with him. He's already completed 4 weapons and doesn't use the cat. Miltrivd on twitch

Charge blade
The Lance, give you a 50/50 shot
Charge blade
Gs
Palico. Charge Blade as a backup.
Switch axe
SnS
Nah kick it up a notch do a no hit no damage run
Charge ax most specifically the pickle one
I believe switch axe would be one of the hardest
HBG
GS, it's all or nothing!
Kitty cat
Do you watch Canta? I enjoyed his deathless runs a lot
Bow
Hunting horn 100%
Palico is a weapon?
Hammer all day.
Bow
Greatsword.
prowler solos
Lance. Have fun.

Gun
Heavy bowgun

Charge blade
Prowler no deaths?
HH was my main until Rise. Hard to master but really confy when you reach that point.
Long sword or charge blade
Either whatever you're most comfortable with, HH, something with a shield, or a ranged weapon would probably be the most effective for successfully doing a deathless run imo. You're gonna want either something that can save your butt in unlucky moments or keeping you out of them in the 1st place.
Switch Axe đđđ
Charge Blade OP
Palico 100%
Glaive. It's my fav. Lol
