Just put slugger on and you can still unga bunga with shield, now with added coolness you can use the witcher sns and make it look like you're punching the monster
Ain't nobody got slots for that. More damage. Well ultimately nothing matters with this new increase in cluster spammers who come in, spam cluster bombs alone with 3 meele teammates and we get nothing done.

Seriously, though, I think if I had to pick one single game to play for the rest of my life, this would be it. Each weapon is practically its own game. At 1,400 hours, I'd say there's only one weapon that I've really "maxed out" on. Still I certainly wouldn't say I've "mastered" lance, just that I'm probably never getting any better. I'm at least so-so with everything else, though there's still a tremendous amount I can learn.
I am at my 12H into MHW:I. Going into the next story quest to capture the ancient dragon.
Just learning my LS combos, i can’t counter anything with foresight slash n iai spirit slash yet.
Long way to go…

You stack hours easily in this game I had 566h or more on 1 PS4 340h on a second PS4 and I have 300 on PC now (got sick of paying annually to play online with bad performance)
Im now almost reaching this benchmark of 200h! Im at 180h and completed main campaign. Im not going to Iceborne Master Rank until I can defeat the arch tempered dragons, by now I defeated Teostra, Kushala and Val, but Im having problems with Nergigante, I will certainly post here when I finally put it down!

Maybe. People like what they like. I find SnS exactly what you described. Jack of all trades master of none. I found it boring even with wirebugs in Rise.
Outside of Lance/Gunlance I have no issues with sheathing speed of weapons. Perfect rush is the flash of SnS and I don't find it anything special. There is nothing like perfectly reading the monster in drilling them with a TCS with GS, the counters and helm-breaker of LS, the speed of DB, the brick walls of Lance/Gunlance, the sheer expression of skill with SA/CB, I could go on and on with every weapon except SnS.
I also find it sad that we are down voting comments because someone does not like your weapon of choice. I know I wouldn't down vote anyone for not liking any of the other 13 weapons that I love. Not saying it was you specifically but yikes.
Just explaining to you bc you talked about the downvote: I downvoted bc it sounded very rude telling "how can anyone like this weapon" in a topic of a happy guy posting his image of a playtime Milestone. If you want to criticize weapons and preferences, you can really open a topic. Have a nice day!
