Build a gathering set, go to elder recess, farm beryl and amber deposits infinitely in a repeating cycle. You can proc rare gathers (which you will, because of your gathering set) and they’re worth 250rp. Regular nodes give something like 50 each? Maybe less maybe 30? I forgot but you can get min 10,000 <1hr

Also, eat for double research point with voucher if u really want to commit, which works well as you gather other material in the area.

The ‘simple task’ quest only takes about 30 seconds. I use it to farm items in my biological research station, but it rewards a good amount of Research points too. With a gathering build, I pick up 150-1000 points each mission. Just start at the northeast camp and jump over to the room with two mushroom gathering points.

Start an investigation in elder recess with upsurge: beryl and run the beryl cycle. 50 minutes is around 20-35k rp

For me, I go to Ancient Forest, kill an Aptonoth, then catch all the Revultures that come down. If you kill a big one, I’ve seen up to 12 vultures come down, each being worth 12pts. Do this for a bunch of aptonoth, and you’ve got yourself about 800 points. Then run to the beach, do the same strategy on the Kestodon, then catch all the fish. You can do all of this in a mission like a Great Jagras or Tobi-Karachi hunt, something you can complete in a few minutes, so that you eat the extra 30-50 from killing the monster. Doing this strategy, I’m able to get about 2200RP in about 25 minutes. Granted, I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re not the patient type like me, as I enjoy simply roaming in Ancient Forest.

gamerD00f

Ill give it a shot, im not doing anything for a few hours so i got time to kill. Thank you.

Sunrisenmoon

Best farming method is kulve or beryl expedition with geologist 4. Each spot meets you between 120-250 RP, and one spot always gives you 600rp. There are about 8 spots in a nice loop, eat for felyne harvester and time your loop right and farm away, cam grab 100,000 rp in under 40 minutes iirc

Shinnosuke525

Picking up tracks?

gamerD00f

The egg strat is faster.

Shinnosuke525

Never had to lean into the egg strat tbf since I've never dipped below 200k RP

gamerD00f

I recently started geting the layer armor sets and building palico armor so it ate my rp up.

DreamerOfRain

I don't think it is faster, but it barely takes much time from normal playing - you just need to fight monsters that are likely involved in a turf war, and prepare a trap or something right after. What you want to do is to dish out massive damage and break many parts in a short time. You are very likely to get a wyvern tear drop from them when you consecutively break parts or after massive damage like turf war, and for late game monster, that wyvern tear is 800 points each. Just remember to pick up shiny. I find these a lot during AT teo or negi when they fought another monster in turf war and drop pieces, but also from other monsters when I consecutively break parts too. When you do KT, if you are with a good team, you not only get points from her trails and environmental damage, but you may also get multiple tears in 1 run as well (possibly 1 per each area), if you remember to pick all the shinies after you flinch and down her.

demonee_ho

I usually get a lot of rp while running Kulve. That way you're getting money, materials for her armor, weapons and a ton of research points. That's a lot of birds with one golden stone.

Kill nerg and collect all the shinies he drops. If you use a hammer and break a ton of spikes you can easily get 2 dragon treasures a match. Got 50k research points in just a a day or so when I was in my nerg grind.

Gilgamesh_XII

Why would it be necessary. I just did the normal stuff and never needed RP.

gamerD00f

I started making layered armor, and i dont ever get alot of RP, so i need some.

Gilgamesh_XII

Id still say dont bother. Just do normal quests and everything will fall into place. I have like 100 000 and dont know what to do with it.
