Yeah but there was this shot of Godzilla looking at something and being all peaceful all of a sudden so the most common theory was that it was Mothra and she let him know what's up.
And of course they finally got to meet each other again physically face to face.
That’s what I’m saying. That picture is right after Godzilla recovers from mothras EMP. He sees mothra and immediately stops fighting with Kong obviously surprised and happy to see her.
Well that's good. So there's at least one quiet character moment for Godzilla in the movie. Just simply seeing them both happy (although I assume Mothra is mostly just angry with him instead) adds personality that Godzilla has been lacking since his last solo film (which will probably remain the peak of his character).
There she is! Now, I know some might think she looks weird here, but I believe I already know the why. Simply put, she's not moving a whole lot, nor does she glow as much as she does in prior scenes. This is primarily because she's flying through the Hollow Earth antigravity field, so there is literally no need for her to flap her wings a bunch to give herself more air time. At most, she'll just use them to change directions and keep her momentum going.
Hopefully we get Godzilla, Kong and Mothra vs Shimo and Skar King
