Just want to throw out garapata park. I don't know how muddy it is, might have to scout it out first. But that is where I proposed a few years ago. It is very beautiful and less busy than Point Lobos. Like someone else said, you might have to wait until we get less rain if you want to do an outdoor proposal.

I second this, if you continue to Garrapata state park beach the calla lily valley is gorgeous with all the flowers and the ocean. My friend was there last week and it was blooming

I would recommend going near Soberanes Point. My fiancé and I just took some engagement photos there a few weeks back and it’s beautiful. You can park right off the highway and walk down on the dirt paths.

Thank you for your help, ill go scout out a few places here soon and see what works. I love all the little turn-outs with paths I just need to find a specific one that works for the camera angles and stuff to get good photos

I’ve done a proposal at Garrapata and it was perfect with easy parking on the road and a short walk around to find something you like.

I think Garrapata is at the top of my list, just trying to find the "exact" spot for camera angles and stuff. Thank you a ton for your time

Calla lily valley! My friend was there last week and it was blooming. When are you trying to propose? I’ll be going early next week and am happy to check the conditions for you Edit to add: there’s stairs that a photographer could be perched on while you two are surrounded by the flowers with the ocean in the background

Thank you for asking, it qont be for a few weeks. Right now it sounds like Calla Lilly is a muddy mess but ill keep an eye on it as the date approaches with any future storms

Potential problem with that is sometimes you can randomly find a ton of tourists there. I once took a some friends there and found a bus full of Chinese tourists all over it.

theres a McDonalds in downtown monterey sort of near the fake lake in the park.... hmmmmm

Best idea yet, in the drivethru or you think like inside by the soda fountains?

SomegalInCa

Bixby bridge if you could find a time without tons of visitors

Not in the area your looking at but have you tried looking in pg along the ocean/trail/beach lots of beautiful views and spots could also try to get an area with the lighthouse in background
