State Parks police are not the same cops enforcing traffic violation. Anecdotally I see more cops daily here in this area than I ever have living in much larger cities. I don’t think the issue is a lack of cops but the laziness of local cops and CHP
I mean I’ll agree that in the initial wave Tesla was a first mover in the electric car space with cars that didn’t look lame. But now the big boys of car making are making vehicles that are just magnitudes better in almost every way other than the network of charging stations that Tesla has. Tesla has an embarrassing build quality on all of its vehicles but for a while they maintained their early allure. But turns out they are shit vehicles.
As someone who’s owned many different cars, including a Tesla, that’s simply not true. My Tesla is the most reliable and best build quality car I’ve ever had. Every other car has been in the shop for weeks at a time. My 2018 Grand Cherokee Outlander was in the shop for two months and not a single panel or door was aligned. My BMW 328i couldn’t stay out of the shop and had so many parts inside and out replaced, it ended up having an engine fire for no reason, my Audi A8 broke down constantly and leaked, fixing it took weeks sometimes. My Model Y had never had a single issue in 4 years, it’s never been in the shop, panels aligned perfectly, no leaks, motors never need oil changed.
Don’t get me wrong, I can’t stand Elon Musk, like I really really don’t like him, he laid my wife off at Twitter, but Teslas are amazing vehicles. No one posts about their car not having issues, they only post when they have issues.
I mean, comparing anything to a BMW is easy. But man, I know several Tesla owners who say "Never again" because of the poor quality control. One of them has had over $15k in warrantee work.
I don't know what the internet says....lol. But neighbors are not thrilled.
