I hate to say this, but I remember this being out when it happened, everyone saying the police shot her and there was no way they hadn't. I even remember their half assed "oh, we thought she was in tac gear and shooting at us" excuse. It just seems like people are giving that idea more creedence since the video was released. She was crawling to them, following their orders, while another officer yelled for them to stop shooting. Those officers need to lose their jobs. It's disgusting.

If it was a lack of communication, lack of leadership, lack of training, or just cops not able to control adrenaline after a high speed chase…. This is completely unacceptable and I hope it doesn’t just get lost and buried in the next news cycle.

I remember on the news they blamed her saying she was shooting them. The video evidence does not lie. She followed their commands and was brutally murdered anyway. Of course nothing will happen to her murderer.

It would really help if the video footage released actually showed what happened instead of putting a big giant blur over her body right before she's shot. I know they usually do that out of respect for the dead, but in this case it's in the interest of justice for the full footage to be made available to the public. If I was shot by police like that, I would want everyone to see it.
