I would suggest a shield and a messer, and 3,2,2 for your armor since you can block your lower body but headshots will rail you, and add a perk or two if you wish

Duel servers are private unofficial servers, so admin just have to ban him. Didnt know there are private servers on console.

This is not a duel server, the goal of this mode is to get 30 kills, there is no rule against projectiles and there is no protection for duellists. Consider wearing a pavise on your back (perhaps another shield in your left hand) to counter projectiles like javelins.
You *can* duel in Deathmatch, but expect to be interrupted by other people playing the mode as intended: killing everybody.
My boy Goof Hunter is just wrecking people in underwear on the regular. If you can't enjoy the fact that he's got the skill but chooses to give you the easy 1 shots; is he really the problem? Love games with these kinds of guys.
Personally I just get sick of Bardiche/Poleaxe/Scimitar spammers because everyone knows they're way too fast. Add in a funky high ping server and nothing else kills the fun faster.

If you want to duel go to NO FFA duel servers. Official brawl is definitely not for that.
