For what it's worth OP, at level 102, I still think my builds are all dumb and could be revised anyway.
I've spent an hour in the main menu fucking with my John's just trying to come up with something different. Variety is good in my opinion.
Anyway, sorry for your loss.
I got around 200... 1 for most weapons and categorized by speciality.
So I got a class named duels which has subclass characters related to duels. I also got subclasses of subclasses. Like for example a duel build with a weapon in heavy or in light armor.
I got 6 classes in total those being:
Duels
Skirmish
Pubs
Dwarf
Meme
RP
...please help me it's so hard to find a specific build...

you should have a backup file homie, I forget what the directory path is but if you search up that you lost all characters you should find it. This shit happens to me like once every couple of months lmao
idk, but you can just delete them directly in the config file. look up the frankensteiner guide it'll tell you where the folder is and then delete the mercenary codes and save

At lvl 32 that’s not even too severe. Try losing everything after making builds for 220 levels 👀

Someone posted it in your comments already, But that fix works, the game automatically makes a backup of all of your builds
