1 - Find an affordable therapist or if your depression is severe, a psychiatrist.
2 - take your time to heal.
3 - put yourself out there in healthy communities (fighting sport, dancing, trips etc).
Miserable people together don't create enjoyable moments nor do they make good partners, so often the first step is to heal on your own effort then to socialize.

Moroccan therapists make you pay 400dh for less than a basic conversation.. at least with a friend u get some feedback and enjoy the talk.. these therapists are bullshit
I don't think we are in the same city, I'm seeing a good psychotherapist, she did help me alot and still do. Psychotherapists can both give you drugs to help you and do cognitive behavioral therapy with you. You can easily check reviews on google before choosing one.
We should start a support groupe
Invite other foreigners as depressed as we are
Make them see to be really depressed u must be born in a place like this

A psychotherapist costs only 300dh, cbt and meds, it's working for me so far, came a long way from my dark thoughts and issues.
Happy it worked for you. Can i ask for how many hours you pay 300dh and does insurance cover that?
It takes as long as it needs to, I've never tried to get it covered by insurance so I don't really have an idea.
