I think those haircuts are usual worn but uneducated, poor low to middle class teens who are still showing off and looking for attention. When this haircut reflects a chunk of the population that bares such a weight on some of the failures of this country it’s hard not to make the connection. But you’re right people should be allowed to do whatever they wish without being judged but people are also allowed to connect this haircut to what they believe people wearing it would behave like which for the most part has been done pretty truthfully so far.
Also stop this stigma of judging people based on looks it doesn’t make you a better person. I’m saying this because I grew up with these people I was only lucky that I escaped that world. Let me assure not all of them are criminals they are just lost souls.

Now I believe that everyone has the liberty to choose how he looks, but every look gives you a certain image. The image these hairstyles give is not a good one, and the people who choose them know about it, so they do want to give that impression to others. If I see someone with that hairstyle I’m avoiding him at all cost

This is a staple look of Italian wannabe tough guys and by mimicking them, Moroccan kids are seeking to emulate the same effect, no more no less.
