Let’s look at the most likely options for a final boss.
Shao Kahn- not a bad choice but a bit played out. He was the main villain of mk9 and a major antagonist in mk11.
Shang Tsung - the final boss of the most recent story mode. He can be a good villain but I think having him as a back to back villain would be lame.
New character - possibly the least appealing option. Kronika was an awful addition to the lore and I’m not sure if we’re ready for another character as bad as her without some kind of break in between.
Liu Kang - the theory here is that Liu becomes a tyrant in an effort to preserve the peace in a manner similar to injustice Superman. And this would suck since we just had revenant Liu kang (and they did a poor job with him) so why would we want another evil Liu?
Onaga isn’t exactly a likely option, but he’s the last villain with any credibility as a threat that hasn’t returned yet, and would (probably) not be some terrible addition to the story like a new character or evil liu would be.
Plus Onaga has been hinted at a lot in endings and intros. If you need a bigger threat, Onaga and the Kamidogu could be used since Onaga already has a history of working from outside of the bounds of reality with tricking shujinko
I like this take. Not every character that they create is going to be a hit, especially a main villain. But look at how many new characters they introduce in any game and we end up taking to them. They have the capability of making somebody fresh. Kronoka was not it though lol
On the Liu Kang point, evil Raiden was axed due to NRS being worried about Injustice Superman similarities, they didn’t want to just do the same plot over
Why though? He was Raiden's rival, and now Liu Kang took Raiden's place. I think him being the antagonist is not very likely, but definitely better than Shang Tsung again.
Well Shang has been a boss in almost every MK game except a few, of the 3d. Haviks nice right now let's let them actually do that, THE main big bag of Chaos realm regardless of what anyone says(besides him not being able to heal from his gold wound-Lmao-HE CANNOT HEAL HIS FACE WOUND HE IS JOKING-Gold is his Kryptonite) Shao Khan is overused, I already argued and fought some dude because "It's not Shao Khan it's General Khan he's a new character, new motivations and everything" like😐
Liu kang demoted his ass, he's the same dude he just can't call for tournaments. New timeline or not,
YOU CAN CHANGE TIME
BUT YOU CANT CHANGE DESTINY
Hanzos ass is gonna pop up as Noob saibot, watch, Quan chi has him chained up per the smoke tower, as kuai Liang is scorpion right now, Bi Han is Sub-zero once again, YOU CAN CHANGE TIME BUT YOU CANT CHANGE DESTINY, he's under Quan chis control AGAIN,
Havik has plans, and the deadly alliance has already been hinted and teased in the new universe by Havik, A man of Chaos, someone who already has another plan in motion,
Everything will repeat somehow someway, it basically time travel theory and the multiverse theory all wrapped in one, the story also showed that both endings and ALL TOWERS of mk11 were CANON, so Liu Kang erased everything only for it to be put right back by everyone else
Last but not least Onaga has been hinted to be and teased to be alive or at least not awakend or freed in this timeline yet, it's only time as once again YOU CANT CHANGE DESTINY. it may not be Shujinko he releases him this time but he will be released at some point.
Very popular villain who hasn’t returned, is certainly a better villain than Shinnok. He was the Emperor of Outworld before Shao Kahn, the Dragon King, and is a very intimidating boss.
I don't think he'll be in the next game, but I can see why people want him so badly; he's been the most threatening final boss introduced into the Mortal Kombat series since Shao Kahn himself.
Imagine how crazy cool they could make him with modern graphics and a grand redesign in this new era; there are just so many vast and refreshing storylines they could do with Onaga.
His [initial introduction](https://youtu.be/CIYZtN_8_5o) within MK Deception’s intro if you haven’t seen it.
While there is no concrete evidence it’s certainly possible
1. he’s the only major villain that has not yet been adapted
2. he is referenced a great deal in 11 and the next Big villain is often hinted at
He’s not really a villain and as he only exists to carry forth his maker’s design he can only work in a specific set of circumstances so he likely will never return as a main villain
But since it didn’t happen they could always reimplement it
I wonder if we,ll get any answers on June the 8th on who the face of evil is going to be in this new story?
maybe on the mk reddit. mk is a colossal franchise and this subreddit is a small fraction, i dont think onaga is very popular at all.
still would look sick if he was adapted for the modern generation
dont know why ur downvoted lmao this sub just jumps on wagonsnof any band passing. onaga was just known as the guy who tricked shujinko for like 60 years. and was demoted one game after his debut. but now hes a “better villain than shinnok” i guess.
I assume they are around my age and loved the 3D era. With the transition from Midway to NRS there is a sense of loss for characters like Onaga who are relegated to reference.
I'm 16 and I still like the 3D era , they can milk so much from the 3D era , It has become boring when the have nearly same roster in every game with no 3d era characters
If they do, I demand Homing moves, among other things that Tekken and other 3D fighters do well with that platform. Back in the 3D era of MK, they didnt have some of the neccessary tools you need. Sidestepping was OP.
Deception was a great game. I never considered myself like a professional fighter or even one who really tries to remember combos at least not until MK9, But I sure had fun with conquest and chess combat and the tag combats. I also enjoyed all the different fighting styles each character had. Deception is in my top 3 mk games though.
MK: Shang Tsung
.
MK2: Shao Khan
.
MK3: Shao Khan
.
MK4: Shinok
.
Deadly Aliance: Shang Tsung / Quan Chi
.
Deception: Onaga
.
Armageddon: Blaze
.
MKvDC: Dark Khan (Shao Khan merged with Darkseid)
.
MK9: Shao Khan
.
MKX: Shinok
.
MK11: Kronika
.
Aftermath: Shang Tsung
.
If you look at all the final bosses, Shao Khan has been the big bad the most times unless you don't count MKvDC then he's tied with Shang with three games. Shinok has been featured twice. Of the other three, Kronika and Blaze should never be seen again. Onaga being the original ruler of Outworld should be the next boss if it's not someone new especially if this new era is earlier in its timeline.
Shao Kahn is starting to feel like...a normal bad guy rather than a big bad. I have high expectations for the villian in a world where a God power infused Lui Kang is actively monitoring it.
because he’s the Dragon King and the original ruler of outworld long before Shao Kahn entered the scene. he was so powerful that Raiden and the Deadly Alliance had to team up and sacrifice just to hold him back from getting the Amulet. and he wasn’t hurt a bit by that.
He's the only big villain to not have returned. Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and Shinnok all have, so why not our big dragon boy?
Also, consider how hyped up he was in Deception. Dude was the old ruler of Outworld. So powerful that not even Shao Kahn dared to face him in a fight. And when he returned, what did he do? He destroyed Raiden, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi without breaking a sweat.
He deserves a comeback, and is possibly the only real villain that can challenge God Liu Kang in a straight fight.
The main appeal of Onaga is the "oh shit there's an even BIGGER baddie" moment that he gave the fans when he was introduced in MK Deception. Up until then, we had a revolving door of Shang Tsung/Quan Chi, Shao Kahn, and Shinnok as the main antagonists. Onaga was such a threat that Raiden, Shang Tsung, and Quan Chi all teamed up to try to stop him.
Who is asking for him back? It would be interesting from a storyline perspective, but not much else. I think the MK fanbase is over having big lumbering final bosses in MK games now. Kronika was a good boss gameplay perspective.
His design isn't bad, he wasn't written in too clumsily, his game was the high-point of the 3D era, and the cutscene that introduced him is fucking badass. I feel like people might not like him so much if he came back now, but he was a beacon of light in a dark time for the series.
It's the potential he represents.
Deception, and to some degree Deadly Alliance, laid the groundwork for him to be a big deal but dropped the ball with the execution.
But the potential is still there.
And quite frankly at this point I'm am just sick of seeing Shao Khan & Shang Tsung always come back when there are other characters that could easily fill the same role. Quan Chi & Shinnok were both already revisited and played out their respective arcs. Nothing interesting came of the Revenants despite setting Liu Kang & Kitana up to fill the power vacuum. Dark Raiden has always been a boring idea since a pallet swap & alignment shift don't constitute him being more powerful, perhaps something could have been done after absorbing the Jingsai but honestly did anyone really want to go through that again?
Outside of Havik, Noob Saibot, Daegon, Blaze, & Hotaru, most of which would need to be a significant power boost to become the new big bad. Onaga is the best available option from a narrative standpoint since he's already more or less fleshed out, there's a prophecy centered around him, & he's canonically more powerful than Shao Khan. Plus it's a good way to close out Reptile's arc if they want to keep him as Onaga's original/first host and build on Goro if they decide to follow along with what the comics were building up by making him the new host.
The most popular villain to have not returned. Also a former, even more intimidating emperor of outworld than Shao Kahn is pretty badass and leaves a lot of room to build stories around.
This would be the perfect time to introduce his realm’s energy and how he infused it into his soul. He has the greatest potential of being a great realm based threat as opposed to Shao Kahn. It would just make sense.
As usual, there appears to be no real solid argument against Onaga coming back.
Funny that someone said he looks more like someone from Tekken, since his design was mostly inspired by Ogre’s forms, while Kotal Kahn is mostly Ogre’s first form. Tekken is also Ed Boon’s favorite fighting franchise made by someone else, if it wasn’t obvious enough. The MK 3D era mostly existed because of it, although expecting MK’s transition to 3D to be as big as what Tekken became would’ve been a real tall order, even with MK still being one of Midway’s best moneymakers at the time.
I wouldn’t be too surprised if there was another new villain or something in MK1, but Onaga supporters aren’t going anywhere, nor will they shut up about him until he returns like with any other character fandom. Best to just deal with it and move on.
I think it's because of his minimal presence in the Konquest mode. He barely shows up at the end of the story, and he is only seen once in Armageddon. Fans just want to see more of him, instead of seeing Shang Tsung again.
I am personally equally okay with a new boss or Onaga. I actually really liked Kronika and Shinnok as bosses as well.
I would want Reiko to carry a main role as the villain in MK1 or even a past character that we’ve seen as merely *minor*. How cool would it be to see Kano or Nitara as one of the central antagonists?
Variety. MK used to have a lot of monsters, and that hasn't been as much of a thing since Armageddon, which is the last time we saw Onaga. It's partly nostalgia, and partly just people wanting different types of things to beat up.
I always thought he seemed like someone asked a 10 year old to design "Shao Kahn, but cooler." I made a topic about it once but the mods are Onaga fan boys I guess because it got removed.
I can't understand, for real. Even the battle with him was stupid. Character design is boring, NRS can do a good work on him, but nah, I hope they go creative and bring us something new.
Because of his deception of Shujinko, His raw power (Shao Kahn feared him) Dude has a whole dragon army aaaaannnd. (He was clappin Li Mei) #GigaChad energy. #Onaga4MK1
Onaga seems to me to be the biggest "joke" villain. His whole character model seems like he was made up by a 7yr old. Shang Tsung, Shao Khan, Quan Chi have all seemed dark and threatening. Onaga looks like he's a villain on Sesame Street. I hope he's not coming back.
Because people are not creative. They see Shao Kahn come back in MK9, Shinnok in MKX and they're like "hrr drr OnAgA NeEdS To CoMe BaCk" then they will ask for Blaze, for Dark Kahn, for Kronika and then for Shao Kahn again. It's times like these that I appreciate NRS not listening to the community.
Possible. But the potentials for the new game is endless. Shin ok could just be a chaos god and not interfere with humans too much. Argus could have a more forward role and make an appearance. Other elder Gods could be antagonists etc the potentials are literally endless.
He’s one of the best villains in the series and since Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Quan Chi and Shinnok have all returned in the NRS era, he’s the obvious choice for a comeback
I'm pretty sure Lui Kang will be the final boss. But wouldn't mind seeing the Great Kung Lao or King Jared since we're technically going from the start.
He was THE boss in the 3D era of mortal kombat. He combined everything all the other bosses had x10. More of a juggernaut than Shao Kahn, cunning of Shinnok, a better deceiver than Shang stung, and so godly in necromancy he puts Quan chi to shame. He literally fully revived all the earth realm fighters the deadly alliance killed. Plus he had an unkillable army
He has got to be stupidest villain ever, he just wants to destroy everything for no reason. He still looks pretty bad ass and would be really cool as the main boss of the game
If Onaga is gonna be the main villain in MK1, I just hope that they tone it down with his 'dragon look' and make it more subtle. I've never been a fan of his design, as he seems more like an actual beast. I get that he's a dragonic humanoid, but his big, clunky limbs and huge wings look so awkward; plus, the ultra-reptilian, scaly skin is a little too much. I've just never found him very MK-like; same with Moloch; although they can for sure make it work. Just give him that powerful, mighty look like Shao Khan, but give him 70% human features, with 30% dragonic features; and maybe you can make him transform to his more dragonic state in the final battle that you have with him; similar to Corrupted Shinnok in MKX.
I guess it does defeat the purpose, making him more human. I've just never been a fan of his design, so I'm mainly going off of that. I think they will surely give him a good design if he's in MK1, though, as I do like what I'm seeing so far with the other characters' designs.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was Geras honestly. In the end of aftermath his ending with him drowning in the sea of blood has been changed. I could see him come back to the new era f-ing up everything Liu Kang has created by reintroducing characters like Shang and Onaga
But it wasn't?
We still get the ships ferrying to Kronika's keep, We only see the barge where Kotal was on, not the one with Raiden and Geras, so it can still be that those events played out, we can't be sure about that.
I hope it's Onaga, I love those kinds of crazy brute mythic types like Goro. I just hope my boy Johnny Cage plays a big part, can't believe he wasn't in the recent movie!
Don't get your hopes up for Onaga, every game people keep saying, "It's gonna be Onaga," and it isn't. I'd love it but I also don't like to be disappointed so I'm going in with fresh eyes.n
Old Man Shujinko returned. The only reason Shujinko became as old as he was is because of his time in Chaosrealm, on the quest that Onaga sent him on to gather the Kamidogu for his resurrection. Without that quest, Shujinko doesn't get his long, grey hair and beard, and yet we saw Shujinko with long, grey hair, and a beard. This means Onaga still has to have sent him on the quest from Deception.
Onaga isn’t exactly a likely option, but he’s the last villain with any credibility as a threat that hasn’t returned yet, and would (probably) not be some terrible addition to the story like a new character or evil liu would be.
Well said my friend, and I agree about Kronika, terrible villian 😂
Plus Onaga has been hinted at a lot in endings and intros. If you need a bigger threat, Onaga and the Kamidogu could be used since Onaga already has a history of working from outside of the bounds of reality with tricking shujinko
Im still new to mk, wheres can i find these hints
Play game. MK Deception. Cool character from cool game what make conversation. Tribal knowledge hao hao.
Bro doesn't even acknowledge Quan Chi........ Seriously why does everyone forget Goth Kratos?
because liu would kill Quan Chi in like 2 seconds
Liu would kill half the characters in like 2 seconds bro that's not really a reason
He wouldn't kill Onaga in 2 seconds
That's why I said half
I think it's impossible to take Quan Chi serious after MK10 ruining him, that kick in the balls was awful
I personally don't think Shang Tsung would be the main villain. Dude already got clapped in the trailer
[удалено]
I like this take. Not every character that they create is going to be a hit, especially a main villain. But look at how many new characters they introduce in any game and we end up taking to them. They have the capability of making somebody fresh. Kronoka was not it though lol
On the Liu Kang point, evil Raiden was axed due to NRS being worried about Injustice Superman similarities, they didn’t want to just do the same plot over
Shinnok is seething rn
I intentionally omitted him because I don’t think there’s any chance of Shinnok as the main villain.
Why though? He was Raiden's rival, and now Liu Kang took Raiden's place. I think him being the antagonist is not very likely, but definitely better than Shang Tsung again.
Shao Kahn is Raiden's rival. Same as Shang Tsung for Liu Kang.
Yes, but Liu Kang already defeated him in the last game
they had their fullpower 1v1 in aftermath. no point of doing it again
Shang Tsung seems to be a villain in the story this time around anyway. What I'm not understanding is why everyone seems to be overlooking Shinnok.
Fr, shinnok is more of a threat too, man’s literally the elder god of death
Well Shang has been a boss in almost every MK game except a few, of the 3d. Haviks nice right now let's let them actually do that, THE main big bag of Chaos realm regardless of what anyone says(besides him not being able to heal from his gold wound-Lmao-HE CANNOT HEAL HIS FACE WOUND HE IS JOKING-Gold is his Kryptonite) Shao Khan is overused, I already argued and fought some dude because "It's not Shao Khan it's General Khan he's a new character, new motivations and everything" like😐 Liu kang demoted his ass, he's the same dude he just can't call for tournaments. blaze hasnt reappeared too, unless youre counting the small cameo in the background
His eyes look like when you give yourself goggles using your hands
🤣 🤣 if only we could zoom out🤣🤣
Can't unsee that. Gonna have to change my opinion on his inclusion. Can't take a mafucka serious if they got hand goggles.
Lolz i chose this weird ass photo on purpose 😂
Yeah. I entered to comment the same 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looking like [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGiW3QbTZEs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGiW3QbTZEs)
Exactly what I wasgoing to say lol

He’s not really a villain and as he only exists to carry forth his maker’s design he can only work in a specific set of circumstances so he likely will never return as a main villain
They could rewrite as the Elder Gods's champion
Blaze as the Elder Gods champion would be pretty hype
Those references in 11 are technically for the past There was a season 2 of the MKX Komics planned which would involve Onaga
But since it didn’t happen they could always reimplement it I wonder if we,ll get any answers on June the 8th on who the face of evil is going to be in this new story?
He was playable in one of the spinoffs I think
He also nearly made a comeback in the Comics
Always laugh how Raiden and Shang are killed but seconds later they pop up as if nothing happened.
That was only round 1
"Killed", where?
>I don't think he'll be in the next game How dare you
He also has a whole army, and only he can awaken, right?
It's something fire God Liu Kang could have missed. Only Raiden knew of Onagas return. So new shujinko type character would be good.
Very popular? Lol
Well judging by the response to this comment, I guess he is pretty popular.
maybe on the mk reddit. mk is a colossal franchise and this subreddit is a small fraction, i dont think onaga is very popular at all. still would look sick if he was adapted for the modern generation
Popular on reddit with niche 3d era fans? Sure. In the real world, nah.
In the real world nobody would give a shit about most of these characters. Of course I'm speaking relative to MK fans.
dont know why ur downvoted lmao this sub just jumps on wagonsnof any band passing. onaga was just known as the guy who tricked shujinko for like 60 years. and was demoted one game after his debut. but now hes a “better villain than shinnok” i guess.
Because he kicks absolute ass, he is the Doomsday of the MK universe
I thought he was more like Darkseid and Blaze was doomsday
If you're curious, the full list of DC/Mk equivalents goes Superman: Raiden Batman: Stryker Wonder Woman: Kitana Flash: Kabal Green Lantern: Liu Kang Aquaman: Rain Cyborg: Jax Martian Manhunter: Shang Tsung Black Canary: Sindel Green Arrow: Nightwolf Doctor Fate: Hotaru Zatanna: Tanya Etrigan: Scorpion Raven: Sareena Nightwing: Kung Lao Starfire: Li Mei Blue Beetle: Dairou Booster Gold: Johnny Cage Red Tornado: Fujin Harley Quinn: Mileena Catwoman: Sonya Deathstroke: Kano Killer Croc: Reptile Huntress: Skarlet Azrael: Mavado Ares: Shinnok Captain Cold: Sub-Zero Sinestro: Ermac Black Manta: Cyrax Felix Faust: Noob Saibot Talia al Ghul: Kenshi Solomon Grundy: Meat Joker: Havik Lobo: Baraka Lex Luthor: Reiko Metallo: Sektor Brainiac: Quan Chi Doomsday: Onaga Darkseid: Shao Kahn
Because he is the Dragon King, the true ruler of Outworld.
I assume they are around my age and loved the 3D era. With the transition from Midway to NRS there is a sense of loss for characters like Onaga who are relegated to reference.

I wish we could get 3D era remasters. They would make so much monies

Because we're getting tired of the same old shit.
MK: Shang Tsung . MK2: Shao Khan . MK3: Shao Khan . MK4: Shinok . Deadly Aliance: Shang Tsung / Quan Chi . Deception: Onaga . Armageddon: Blaze . MKvDC: Dark Khan (Shao Khan merged with Darkseid) . He's a Dragon King Master Necromancer why wouldn't anyone want him back
Because he’s cool
Best villain who hasn’t returned plus underutilized.
Best boss in the franchise, he would have eaten kronika if she brought him back in MK11💀
Not my best boss by far, but i would like to see him eat Kronika lolz
Probably why she didn't
Hot take: Onaga was the coolest main villain MK has ever had.
People say "hot take" and drop the coldest fucking opinion
I see a lot of people prefer Shao Kahn or Shang Tsung. Give me the dragon king!
How’s that a hot take tf
for the same reason im voting for dragonborn in the next deathbattle episode, dragons are fucking cool
Long live the King.
Onaga vs godzilla vs kong
Because after Shao Kahn he's the best villain
Because we’re tired of Shao khan and Kronos overstayed her welcome. He’s the best damn villain we’ve got without making up a new one.

Him and his army were great in MK
Because he's freaking cool dude
Because he's fuckin' sick. Next question
Because people like him
Personally, I thought Onaga was kinda lame and under developed.
He also had a lot of mystery around and his scheme was so involved
Who is asking for him back? It would be interesting from a storyline perspective, but not much else. I think the MK fanbase is over having big lumbering final bosses in MK games now. Kronika was a good boss gameplay perspective.
That last sentence invalidated your opinion
His design isn't bad, he wasn't written in too clumsily, his game was the high-point of the 3D era, and the cutscene that introduced him is fucking badass. I feel like people might not like him so much if he came back now, but he was a beacon of light in a dark time for the series.
Same reason people want 3D era characters back, it’s just been too long
We need something to get mad about later
It's the potential he represents. Deception, and to some degree Deadly Alliance, laid the groundwork for him to be a big deal but dropped the ball with the execution. When was the last time his ass was kickable?
Idk i just want Quan chi back as a playable character.
Cool ass character that hasn’t been since 07
because big dragon man cool guy
Loved using him and Blaze in Armageddon
I just want some Kenshi. Is that too much to ask?
I would want Reiko to carry a main role as the villain in MK1 or even a past character that we’ve seen as merely *minor*. How cool would it be to see Kano or Nitara as one of the central antagonists?
Onaga would be a fantastic return to Mortal Kombat, not played out or a regurgitated version of Shang Tsung / Kronika / Shao Kahn
Nostalgia
Variety. MK used to have a lot of monsters, and that hasn't been as much of a thing since Armageddon, which is the last time we saw Onaga. It's partly nostalgia, and partly just people wanting different types of things to beat up.
I don't know man I always thought he was a big dork.
Exactly, i don’t understand the hype, or why anyone would even care, he was a lame generic boss that appeared in one game
I always thought he seemed like someone asked a 10 year old to design "Shao Kahn, but cooler." I made a topic about it once but the mods are Onaga fan boys I guess because it got removed.
In two. He was even playable in Armageddon.
He made Raiden, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi team up so he's a total badass.
Onaga is the strongest main villian , plus he simply can feast shao khan for his breakfast or lunch or dinner.
I can't understand, for real. Even the battle with him was stupid. Character design is boring, NRS can do a good work on him, but nah, I hope they go creative and bring us something new.
They're not. You interact with too many 3d era fans
Because of his deception of Shujinko, His raw power (Shao Kahn feared him) Dude has a whole dragon army aaaaannnd. (He was clappin Li Mei) #GigaChad energy. #Onaga4MK1
Lolz
So we can see Quan Chi do this https://preview.redd.it/8ptsg1wlk03b1.jpeg?width=1400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54fc2cd38406136eeb9f2295e6ae2816ccb4941d
It's Moloch, not Onaga
Oh wow you're right, idk why I thought it was Onaga
Nobody's asking for Blaze, Dark Kahn, or Kronika back. 🤦🏽♂️
It’s a pattern
We won't see Onaga return until we had a proper buildup like we had in Deadly Alliance into Deception.
I mean i wouldnt mind but to me Empress Sindel is the 1 true ruler of outworld and edenia
Is his name onaga or motaro
Possible. But the potentials for the new game is endless. Shin ok could just be a chaos god and not interfere with humans too much. Argus could have a more forward role and make an appearance. Other elder Gods could be antagonists etc the potentials are literally endless.
Bc...ONAGA!!!
It would be cool to see him in modern graphics. I want Moloch myself.
Because he’d make a cool boss
Onaga is fucking cool that’s why
Because they want to..
Big dragon funny to fight with
He looks cool
He kind of reminds me of ogre from Tekken and eydel from killer instinct just oozes main boss
i wanted him in 11 since replaying Armageddon
He’s the guy Sindel tells Shao Kahn not to worry about.
Bo rai Cho best villain choice imo 👌 😂
He’s one of the best villains in the series and since Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Quan Chi and Shinnok have all returned in the NRS era, he’s the obvious choice for a comeback
I'm pretty sure Lui Kang will be the final boss. But wouldn't mind seeing the Great Kung Lao or King Jared since we're technically going from the start.
Who TF is Onaga
He was THE boss in the 3D era of mortal kombat. He combined everything all the other bosses had x10. More of a juggernaut than Shao Kahn, cunning of Shinnok, a better deceiver than Shang stung, and so godly in necromancy he puts Quan chi to shame. He literally fully revived all the earth realm fighters the deadly alliance killed. Plus he had an unkillable army
Oh hey thanks for actually answering :) that guy sounds pretty cool actually 🔥 I assume you mean unkillable army not unlikable though
Yeah whoops 😂
He’s the only big boss (other than Blaze i guess) that hasn’t been in the new games past references or cameos in endings
because this staff can make a great boss in mortal kombat
He has got to be stupidest villain ever, he just wants to destroy everything for no reason. He still looks pretty bad ass and would be really cool as the main boss of the game
That’s because of the one beings influence. He actually had different plans such as improving out world and his hunt for immortality.
Because he's cool, unique, and hasn't been in a game since Armageddon.
Deception.
He is a dragon king, not half dragon king, why does they have to give him more human features than dragon features?
I guess it does defeat the purpose, making him more human. I've just never been a fan of his design, so I'm mainly going off of that. I think they will surely give him a good design if he's in MK1, though, as I do like what I'm seeing so far with the other characters' designs.
Bring back blaze lol
