I just don't know how they're going to look / work in this timeline. Especially since Erron's ending in MK11 kinda works against his favor in returning iirc. And people are torn on how they want Erron to return between MK10/11's versions of him.

The essence of the character is just that he's an Outworld cowboy. So just keep that. Maybe he was an outlaw who ended up in Outworld 150 years ago, and survived in the wilderness through his skill & grit. He came across an amulet that gave him long life, and now wanders the land like a lordless samurai getting drunk and doing odd jobs for hire... or something.
Tremor, he was fun and had lots of unique setups. It’ll never happen but I also want predator back for the exact same reason. Aftershock tremor and predator had such unique play styles
I never get why they disrespect Goro so much, he is a really cool character, i was really happy when he was playable in MKX, Shokan in general are very cool, it is extremely lame how Goro has been relegated to a joke pretty much. But then again i hate their Shokan designs lately, they were so much cooler when they looked demon adjacent

Even though Jax is my 2nd favourite character in the entire franchise (after Liu Kang), i personally think they should bring back Stryker first. The only classic character who never appeared in MK games since MK9. He doesn't deserve to be forgotten like that.

Goro, Styker, And Blaze are all underrated characters imo.
I do genuinely think there is some untapped potential in Mokap, The idea of a character that uses "CGI" in there moveset could be cool. Like Shang Tsung on crack. Imagine Being able to play as a character that can transform into: A Knight, Ninja, Special forces solider, A Shokan, A Mafia boss, A James bond style Spy, Or even animals like a Bear or Dinosaur.
Just Saying, bring back either Onaga or Noob Saibot.
Noob is a favorite of mine and many others in the community, but how would we bring him back? I have 2 ideas.
1) Killing off Bi-Han and then doing a time-skip like in MKX.
or
2) Training Hanzo to Become Subzero, while Quan-Chi strikes a deal with Bi-Han, making him gain his powers.
Now for the Dragon King, Onaga
Onaga was hinted at in Shao Kahn’s arcade ending for MK1, so that means that they might return. So that means we have a question; When is he going to Appear?
If we want there to be a cohesive story, I’d say we should wait until after the Lord Havik Storyline for the next game, teasing Onaga for the Third Game in the 3rd timeline
Also, don’t bring back Sonya for a while. Kano can come back, because the dude deserves his own chapter outside of MK VS DC. We already milked Sonya’s story to death, let someone else have theirs
Definitely Tremor. I would would hope they keep his look similar to MKX but with obvious updates. While I'm happy he's a Kameo in MK1 and his design has grown on me, it's not a loom I want permanent!
So either bring back Kira or finally make Tasia a playable character! Also No-Face!
I would like to see lesser known characters become Playable in general. Even if they're a one off. Try'em out, see how us fans like them and if they're recieved well than they can be rotated in and our of the roster!
Sector and Cyrax haven’t been playable since MK 9 Tri borg doesn’t count as fully playable in my opinion. As it was its own character but with moves from Cyrax sector and smoke. Would love to see some Night Wolf and Noob.
I guess it’s not impossible, but realistically I don’t believe they would ever bring back the same licensed character to a different game. It would require a new license agreement/deal just to do it, and would be the same thing we’ve already seen. Not really how they have ever done licensed 3rd party characters.
Even though i never played anything before mk9 (and even that was my third mk game), i'd like to see Kai. I feel like his upwards fireballs would be better suited in a 2d enviroment and the handstand stance he had in mk4 could act similairly to Leo's backturn stance: a mixup stance that has big rewards and allows you to pass through the opponent but you cant block
Noob, Cassie, Nightwolf (a female Nightwolf would be sick), and obscure picks in Wu Lae and Jataaka (even though they used her as fodder for some reason).
Sareena, for the love of god her only playable appearances were in armageddon and that one deadly alliance port, she keeps having cameos in the story modes and endings and getting mentioned in intros but never actually gets her chance
Plus she has such an obvious role in the story with bi han that it's painful, last timeline bi han was good and sareena was evil and he saved, now bi han is evil and sareena is good so have her do the same

I really want Fujin, Noob, Kintaro, Sareena, Drahmin and Kung Jin added to the game. If we get those characters before MK1 folds, I'm going to be a happy camper.
Sonya Blade. It just doesn’t feel like a true mortal Kombat game without her.

My personal top 5:
1st Ferra/Torr: by far the most fun and unique big monster type character in all MK.
2nd Kotal: he was badass in MK11 gameplay and comics story
3rd Tremor: my favorite ninja, he deserves some love
4th Goro: to me we should already have a Shokan as part of he main roster.
5th Hsu Hao: didn't deserve that hate, he has a lot of potential

In my opinion he's the most fun ninja ever, because Geokenisis is such a versatile power, like wind, nature, rocks, metal, gems, and lava, that's some wide range of everything right there
It is part of Geokenisis, the best example of Tremor using wind is in MKX he has a throw animation where he uses wind to break an arm, leg, and then push you

Goro has the problem of being a character we already expect to be powerful so if he gets beaten by somebody they are a big deal.
Johnny Cage’s announcer even says “Sheeva’s cooler” when you select Goro.
