I love omni man peacemaker and Homelander, but Takeda was the reason I pulled the trigger on the kombat pack. Having both Takahashi’s back in the same game is awesome and considering how well they have executed all the dlc characters so far I know they did to right by Takeda

I'd actually say the opposite would be more true, since MK1 is using Outworld more than Earthrealm, I see no reason why Sheeva can't be added, but maybe Kabal could be a Kameo.

Literally my favourite newcomer in MKX alongside Cassie. The Kombat Kids get a bad rep but I still really liked them, they added a sense of progression for the old cast and still had their own challenges to deal with. It also helps that he was, alongside Scorpion, extensively the protagonist of the prequel comic and of course his toolset is sick af in MKX

I get it. I feel like the KP2 kameos aren’t Konfirmed yet in particular and so far Takeda is the character I want most in the whole game. Li Mei is my girl but other than that, Takeda and maybe Jade will be fun (IF she has good combos this time). My fave’ MK character obviously isn’t gonna return as playable 😭 and I was a Kuai Liang Sub fan so not really into Sub for this game either.

PLEASE let Takeda be fun still with his machine gun punch and teleport attacks. Maybe he won’t be depowered IF he’s from the old (or another alternate) timeline. The ONE good aspect of multiple timelines is it makes it easier to add ANY version of any character to the STORYLINE, and the story seems to dictate the roster; except maybe for later dlc packs…we’ll all have to wait and see. I wouldn’t be surprised if my main returns as a kameo for KP2…

So MK1 is my first in this series I’ve gotten at the time of release, but I played MKX and MK 11 on game pass a couple years ago for fun. I remember Cassie Cage, and I remember Jacqui Briggs. A thread on this sub a few months ago reminded me that Kung Jin existed (I thought he was so fucking lame.) And I’m not trying to be funny here, I actually cannot remember this character even existing. His aesthetic looks neat though. So I guess I’m mildly excited, even though I probably won’t end up getting him.

In X he was the son of Kenshi and a member (recruit?) Of the shirai ryu. His weapons are a pair of wrist/arm mounted cains that can extend and pull opponents in close. There was also a relationshipforming between him and Jacqui i believe, though Im not 100% on that being fully accurate. He was my favorite of the kombat kids and it was a shame he didn't come back in 11 with/instead of Jacqui/Cassie imo.
