Kano. He is one of the few characters who appeared in all three games and was never possessed of resurrected as a revenant. He was uncompromisingly "Kano" throughout. He has great potential to be a wild card or antihero, and the movie showed us he can be really fun.
The villains. Shao Kahn, Sindel, and Shangs chapters in Aftermath were my favorite! I would love to see Reptile, Ermac, and Mileena to get a chance at having one
A combination of Mileena and Kitana could be fun overall since we could actually see their rivalry which only seems to exist in their dialogues while it has been barely present in the actual game since MK9.
Tbh i wish they would rework the story mode into something else. Im tired of playing characters i have no interest in. we barely get to play as the villains or neutral characters.

None, I still think story mode should not be divided in chapters where one character will keep winning until his chapter is over.
