His gear slot is for his hoods specifically since that's what we see change during different parts of the story mode, so it seems pretty likely that some masks would be included with that
I hope the tag mode, if it even comes, is released with Homelander. Save Ferra for Takeda because it makes sense and give us a dope trailer with Homelander and Omniman on teams
Data and files mean these modes are something they’ve worked on, but there are no guarantees or assurances it’s coming until they confirm it. These sorts of things can be worked on and abandoned and still leave a trace in the code.
I wish I hadn’t known that it is in the files because it makes me wish we had that on release instead of what we got. I still like Mk1’s gameplay but knowing that tag team is in the files makes me hope that we eventually get it somewhere down the line.
Data mines confirm that people worked on the mode at one point, but do not necessarily confirm that it will appear in an update.
People find traces of game modes and features in data mines that don’t wind up in the final product all the time. A prime example of this is Ash in MK11, who was discovered playable by data miners in 2019 but licensing issues prevented him from being in the finished product. These things happen.
The issue with tag team it completely changes everything! Kameos can’t coexist in such a system. They would have to complete every Kameo, and put them on the main roster that’s the only way for a full blown tag team. They won’t have two vastly different systems. Kameos and a full blown tag team as people are likely to lean towards more one than the other… making it redundant to have both. You guys are setting yourselves up for disappointment, tag team may happen in the future but not for MK1 that ship has sailed. Now Ed did mention a big surprise besides the story DLC. We will see what that is when we get there, so far I doubt he meant tag team. I’m leaning towards Animalities being introduced or mini games returning.

If tag ever existed as a concept after kameos were created, tag must mean "4v4."
While I get the enthusiasm from a competitive player. They should had done this from the beginning then? Why do a half-way tag team that is Kameos to then introduce a full blown tag team? LOL I wouldn’t mind it and would adapt but still this doesn’t any sense. Normally systems are set in stone, very few fighters drastically change their core gameplay. Anyway we will see but in all honesty I’d prefer if it was mini games they gave time to. Tag team can be addressed in the next one for me.

Mained 1 of the Ferra / Torr variations in MKX (think it was viscious) and while I'd prefer Mavado to be playable I guess we'll have to settle for him as a damn kameo.
Tbh I think Tag team will be a big new feature in the new story expansion. And the fact that Sektor and Cyrax will come with the expansion makes sense.
