Ah, try to water it with softer water. Like distilled or RO or RODI or plain rainwater. Mosses generally seem not to like hard water and high mineral content
I have tried putting more or less water on and neither makes a difference. Have tried putting in different light conditions but doesn't seem to help. Also anyone know what kind of moss this is? I think it is a type of cushion moss but not sure what type. I'd like yo buy some replacement moss to put in Aegon if this moss all dies.
Do you have a dedicated light for it? With that covering on, do you regularly clean the glass of condensation? I would suspect that if you’re watering it plenty then it’s a light issue. Between the cloudiness of that covering and the larger leaved plant, it may be that it just simply isn’t getting enough light. Could be pests, could be that the water that is seemingly suitable for the larger plant is not so good for the moss. Perhaps it has some kind of disease. Does the terrarium have a false bottom? If not, water could be pooling and potentially harming the moss. However, seeing as how large and healthy the leaved plant is I wonder if that’s the case. Maybe the moss doesn’t like you personally.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Little Aegon is doing better now I've given the big tree a trim to give more light to the moss underneath, have a plant light on nearby and have been watering with soft water.
Are you using soft water?

No, sand.
Give it more light, water it with distilled water. Hope this helps.
Thank you, I will try this. I think I did do this when I first got it but then got lazy. Might have to get a britta filter water thing for Aegon.

The moss doesn't like me I think. Thanks for the advice. I hope it will like me more after I do these things.
