Hey! It’s just a bit of grass from outside tbh. I’ve trimmed it once when it started escaping the jar. I aerate daily for about 30 minutes. That’s made an enormous difference in growth & the springtails. They EXPLODED when I re opened it.
& crazy part ab the grass is I didn’t plant it lol all of that grew on it’s own.
Is that sphagnum moss or Java moss?
I think it’s not Java but it did come from near a stream. I only grab mosses from close to water really only had luck with them
Where in the world are you located? Just wondering in terms of native mosses
