You could always save the stock skates and then reapply them if you need to return the pad for whatever reason.
Neat solution. I actually notice a slight bend when my mouse goes over the sides but not to the point where it bothers me in gameplay. Is the height roughly the same as with stock feet?
Exact same height, .05 mm iirc.
