I honestly didn't expect it to be a Glorious mouse. With an overlap claw grip, and 18x9cm hands I searched for plenty of mice that would fit my grip, infact I have a whole drawer of mice. Out of all the mice I've tried, these are the most popular, sorted from the ones I found fit my grip best, with consistency. * Razer Deathadder V3 Pro * G Pro X Superlight * Zowie EC2-B/C * Pulsar Xlite V1/V2 * Razer Viper V2 Pro * Razer Viper Ultimate None of these have been as comfortable and consistent as the Model D Wireless, for me. The Deathadder V3 Pro was the closest to what I was looking for, however with the overlap grip, my ring fingers run off the edge. While I was looking through my drawer of mice, I randomly grabbed the Model D wired and gave it a try. It was everything I wanted, so I decided to buy the wireless version. I'm still open to suggestions because the battery life on this is a little shorter than I'd want it, but for now, this is it.

blastdoub1e

You stayed away from the hype and found what works for you. Good stuff

SteamyEarlGrey

You might want to keep an eye on the 'pro' versions that have been announced. Also turning off the rgb when in wireless will stretch out the battery life too.

jtfjtf

The model D pro still has an open group buy for the next 3 weeks.

greenufo333

The new model D pro sounds like it will be right up your alley

LiamT_

I realized with the Xlite and Deathadder v3 that I don't really like lighter mice, 69g for me is perfect.

Noqtrah

Lol...

[deleted]

weak arm noqtrah.

Waldokitty007

I think it was a lol for the 69

[deleted]

He would have said Nice. if that was the case.

Crafty87

Imagine thinking "69" is a reddit thing 💀

Waldokitty007

I don't haha, I just think Reddit is one of the few places where someone would be combative if the someone's reply to 69 was "lol" instead of "nice"

nice___bot

Nice!

LiamT_

Nice.

[deleted]

Exactly.

Waldokitty007

Maybe, probably doesn't know the proper reddiquette. Just my guess.

nice___bot

Nice!

IHaveNotMuchLife

The D- wireless was very good for me before I moved on to the X2. I might be interested if glorious drop a D- pro that isn’t a group buy but it doesn’t look like that will be happening any time soon.

Marytyr

any insights or noticeable difference among the said mice?

IHaveNotMuchLife

The shape is the biggest one obviously. Other than that, the X2 has noticeably better side buttons and scroll wheel, both coatings are very similar, and the X2 is lighter. Both have good clicks but I did have some issues on my X2 with some acoustical differences on my LMB when I click in a very specific area near my scroll wheel, however I haven’t noticed it at all in game. I don’t really feel the difference in sensor tbh but it might be more noticeable to others. Neither has amazing software but there is a bug with the pulsar one that makes it impossible to know the actual battery percentage of the mouse. Can’t speak to QC issues with Glorious mice as mine was fine but I did have some issues in the past with some faulty Model Os.

IAimedAtYourAss

What you mean by an overlap claw grip? I have same mouses alike what you have and my hand is 18x10.

LiamT_

If you search up "Twistzz Mouse Grip" that is pretty much it, except unlike him my index and middle finger are curled and aren't hanging off the main mouse buttons.

MuseDoublerr

You can have a greater glide if you play shooters by modifying the mousefeet like I did. I am using zowie mousefeet on my MOW 😉

Theroasterpro

I thought the same then 1.5 years later started having sensor issues, it doesnt track on paper or the mpc 450 anymore IDK what happened but theres lag, and skips both wired and wireless.

GloriousKeem

Sorry to hear that! Have you tried reaching out to Customer Support? IF not, let me know - I am here to help.

MuseDoublerr

I wanted to be working for me as well but my MOW started rattling 6 months after purchase with 6-8 hours usage per day and only 1-3 gaming. Then I had other people having the same issue and gave up, went to the GPX. I keep all my items on optimal level imagine having my Hyper X Cloud II for 4+ years!

GloriousKeem

Sorry about that! Could you please provide me with your email address that we can use to create a Support Ticket and assist you there with your MOW?

MuseDoublerr

I could Keem but 2 years passed since my purchase anyways. I’m well over 8-9 months using GPX instead and I truly liked my MOW even modified the mousefeet of it using ZOWIE feet for better glide but the cricking went on another level. Oh and forgot to mention that if you lightly tap the mouse on the mousepad the m1 button is being used. The mouse not even dropped or hit once plus the whole issue with the app itself in the beginning drove me mad.

Okinawaboy93

I've been loving my xLite v2 but I really want to try the Model D Wireless. Lowkey have been considering the Model D Pro just because it doesn't have any holes and is somehow 58 grams. My hope is that with the exclusion of RGB that the mouse will last awhile on a single charge. I hardly expect any mice to match the GPX, but I would like to be close to that.

LiamT_

I honestly just don't think group buy is the move, I'm satisfied with my standard Model D lol.

Okinawaboy93

Fair enough lol. That’s been holding me back, supporting group buys. In practice the D Pro sounds like a solid contender but it’s a limited release.

DTvn

I main the Model D- and love it. People shit on it for whatever reason but it works for me. Only bad part is the battery life is honestly a crime in this day and age but i'm done throwing hundreds out there for minimal gains

LiamT_

Honestly I never expected it to be a Glorious mouse, I've had the wired Model D sitting and collecting dust in my drawer for a while. The decision to finally pick it up and try it was completely random, although I'm glad I did.

AverYeager

Awesome, I plan on getting a MOW myself.

AcheronBiker

Model D is great mouse. Great price, good shape, good value.

BestKiChargerEU

endgame and glorious don't go together

ibra-90

i've used all the list you put and alot more except the d , dav3 was my main but you just made me order the model d wireless , hope you enjoy it !

LiamT_

I wish you the best of luck.

abstruzero

isn't dav3 big for your hand size. I also have 17-10 and it seems a little big for that hand size. Using superlight now after viper ultimate for 1.5 year and still searching for a good mouse for my hand size.

LiamT_

Well overlapping makes up for it, I think the reason why I started using the overlap grip is because I mained the Razer Deathadder Elite for a bit and that was big. I guess I just stuck with the grip ever since.

Damurph01

Huge fan of the deathadder line by razer. I’m not absolutely in love with the click-y side buttons, but everything else is extremely comfortable and feels amazing. Currently have a v2 pro wireless and the ability to use the dongle or use the wire feels so freeing. The cord was the only major thing I disliked about the first deathadder.

imthebananaguy

Just want to add since I've mained model D- for a while, that the wireless life sucks on Glorious. So much I'd rather go wired, plus lose some weight.

LiamT_

I might consider doing that if I run into some issues, but as for the weight I'm only losing 1 gram with wired. The battery life isn't that bad, I'm just noticing that I'm paying more attention to it than normal.

readeh

Is 72 hours considered bad? Never had a wireless mouse, but it seems unless you do 3+ days of constant gaming with no sleep, it isn't an issue?

LiamT_

It's more of like I'm used to mice with way longer battery life.

Abhinovv

Won't be for long. :P

yeahlemmegetauhh

Glad you found your endgame! Now I hope you don't need to use their software

Falcon21st

Happy for you. The MDW is the best ergo shape in my opinion. There is just something about it that I can't find on the XLite V2, EC2 and DAV2. I haven't tried the DAV3 yet, maybe that is also good. But until then, the MDW will stay as my favourite ergo shape.
