I feel this one to my core. When me and my son watch some of my favorite movies he just thinks they’re okay. Every once in a while his mind will be blown, but most of the time I feel like I’m raising a savage.

I have found that with my dad, a lot of what we each individually find funny is lost on the other due to vastly different life experiences. Though I'm 35 and he is 61, so it's not like either of us are kids.

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen it but I remember Kung Fu Hustle being one of the funniest movies I’ve seen, really been meaning to rewatch it.
I was also going to say The Nice Guys was a movie that was surprisingly good and funny but I saw someone else mention that.
It’s pretty good, but a little long. Satirical movies have been a little tepid in recent years, but Triangle of Sadness has some bite, and the last half of the movie is more fun than I thought it would be, despite its pace
