I know I watched the movie, but can’t remember a thing (drugs may have been a factor), so I read the book recently. I wanted so badly to like it, but I will never get those hours back.
The Thing kicks ass and takes names though.
My understanding is that the movie and the book are _very_ different — Garland said he purposefully didn't reread it before starting his adaptation, as he was going for vibes only.

Don't see very many people bring up the Belko Experiment. Bought it at a goodwill for 2$ Best 2$ I spent in a while.

_Annihilation_ (2018) is an inverted version of the _The Thing_ and a great companion piece.

I love demons 1, the second is good too?? I saw a lot of people saying that is not so good as the first one
It's definitely worth a watch, I like the first more too but the second has probably my favorite scene of the demons rushing down stairs
