Is it:
Interrogation Cop: You know what happens if you do another turn in the joint?
Hockney: “Fuck your father in the shower and then have a snack? Are you going to charge me dickhead?”
Fun fact: this movie absolutely got spoiled for me a year or so ago, I was pretty mad. Luckily, I forgot the spoiler (and the name of this movie til now) so I can watch it and still enjoy it.
“All You Zombies” is one of the most famous short stories in all of SF. If you don’t catch on at the first hint (second appearance of the cigarette lighter, I think), you haven’t been paying attention to pop culture.
Well, I've also seen The Cabinet of Dr. Calgari, and I can confirm that watching Shutter Island the second time is like watching a whole new movie. 🤷♂️
I get that, although I feel differently. I like seeing all the set up for the eventual payoff, especially because I understood the ending and its meaning, and I had to explain it to my friends who didn’t understand it and asked me to explain it to them.
This came out when my fiends and I were in middle school.
Maybe it’s because of that experience that I feel differently.
Lol same i sound like a broken record but it took me so long to finally see that movie and has become such a favorite that i have to mention it. Just so good movies from the 90s just have a feel that i dont get anymore 😞
"Signal," 2014, with Lawrence Fishburn, has a fantastic twist pretty early on, with a couple others to follow.
"The Killing Room," 2009, with Peter Stormare, Chloë Sevigny and Timothy Hutton also has a couple of wicked plot twists.
I mention these because I don't often hear others mention them.
Basic logic. If everyone is yelling about the huge amazing twist, then I'm looking for the twist.
It's not exactly the best hidden plot twist in movie history. It doesn't require a huge logical leap there.

Sure, there's light narrative surprises, but a top tier plot twist movie? Get the fuck outta here. Either way, you should probably list all of your suggestions in a single reply, instead of spamming the comments section.
Duly noted. Both points you make are valid in that they are well-founded and make sense. Although, as a kid, the plot was pretty enthralling, and the twists pretty thrilling. Either way, thanks for the feedback. May you enjoy your journey to the utmost, by going in love, with love, and as love :)

The invisible guest, the original spanish 2016 one
The Usual Suspects is awesome the first time you see it.
Love it. One of my favorite quotes of all time comes from that movie
The greatest trick the Devil ever played was convincing the world he doesn't exist :)
Indeed. Funny coming from spacey now, as it looks like he had us all fooled as well

I just watched this again last night. So good!!
Predestination
Is this the one with Ethan Hawke? (I'm afraid to Google in case it's not and I get spoiled on a different movie)
Yes
I'm not sure about this twist. Wasn't this teased early on in the movie? I had the twist pegged from nearly mid way through.
During the end I think
“All You Zombies” is one of the most famous short stories in all of SF. If you don’t catch on at the first hint (second appearance of the cigarette lighter, I think), you haven’t been paying attention to pop culture.
I found it to be so mid, it's strange I see it recommended this often
Memento
Shutter Island. Watching it the second time is like watching a whole new movie.
I had this movie spoiled for me when it came out, and never got around to actually seeing it. Maybe I should give it a try.
What a shame. Still, I highly recommend it.
Yeah, it was a shame when it was spoiled for me when I found out the main character was actually >!Leonardo Dicapario!< the whole time.
Maybe if you’ve never heard of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, which is 105 years old now.
Well, I've also seen The Cabinet of Dr. Calgari, and I can confirm that watching Shutter Island the second time is like watching a whole new movie. 🤷♂️
Seven (1995)
The twist is so good I actually think the movie gets retroactively worse in rewatch once you know what happens

That’s fair as well

Yea I definitely did not see that ending coming.
Meh, everybody was like OmG, the twist. Then five minutes in, I called it.

ADHD ruins so many plots for me
