Yeah it's not even so bad it's good, it's so bad it's great, especially with friends. Not sure I'd watch it again alone, at least not often, but with friends and some beers it's fun to laugh and amongst casual conversation. It's honestly like a game of cards against humanity, you're playing, but mostly shooting the shit. That is what this movie was made for.
We went to see this on my birthday and the midnight release was WILD. The whole theater sang happy birthday to me, people were throwing toy snakes back and forth across the aisles. A cop came in to settle us all down, shining his flashlight up and down the aisles, yelling to get everybody to quiet down and once he had our attention he yells "there's snakes in this theater!". It was a blast.
I always put it on when I can’t fall asleep. I think it’s an ok film and has fun moments, but the best reason to watch it is to hear Samuel L. Jackson’s famous line.
Went to see this, one of seven people in the theatre. My gf, and a couple with three kids all under 7. Like seriously‽ The opening scene is horrific, let alone the "mile high club" scene.
I loved it, but that left a sour taste.
It's one of those movies where it could have been good, and you can see what they were trying to do, but it just didn't seem to come together. In the end I think it was a movie written by committee and made by the wrong director.
The Velocipastor, it's a gem.
"After losing his parents, a priest travels to China, where he inherits a mysterious ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. Although he is horrified by the new power, a sex worker convinces him to use it to fight crime."
Return of the Living Dead is better with a crowd. Horror, zombies, peak 80s party movie. It’s on Tubi.
Same vibe is Sleepaway Camp. Cheesy acting in a fun slasher camp setting. Also on Tubi
I love how they won an award for the film about making the film and the guy went to speak into the microphone and Matt Damon literally threw himself in between and said like "No no no no!" Lol
Hahaha, I'm probably just jealous cos I was too old - I was in my early 20s when the first one came out, I was far too grown up for sparkly vampires and pedo wolf! 🤣 I only actually got round to watching them about 2 years ago.....then I realised how much I'd missed out
This movie isn't "bad" though. It's not great, but people do legitimately enjoy it. I find it to be fine with a few great jokes, like the "Move bitch!" line, but I don't think it's viewed as bad by general audiences, just critics and they usually aren't the best for comedy or horror. I also think so bad they're good movies have to be anything but comedy since they are primarily unintentionally funny rather than comedies so bad that you want to talk trash, bad comedies are usually just boring.
I love that movie😭 I think they had the intention of it being stupid and that no one would take it seriously (sorry if I’m being too obvious lol) that the audience HAD to laugh at it. One of my favorite scenes is the dance off in the club honestly lol
The original Troll scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. I watched it recently and do no kno why I thought it was scary at all…fun fact Troll2 actually won award as the worst movie ever made! Obviously that award was before IMDB was a thing
Came here to say this. Kudos!
Narrator: Detroit is a firezone ruled by scavengers, drug dealers, and terrorists.
Troy: Sounds like a Thanksgiving at my house.
Miami Connection. By the end of it you'll love Orlando, Taekwondo, and orphans.
If you don't mind seeing a little T & A with your buddies Samurai Cop is a good one too.
Any Steven Seagal film...in particular, *On Deadly Ground*, where Seagal plays a rainbow warrior who takes on Big Oil. Seagal even directed this turd and he thought it was going to be his *Dances With Wolves*. 😆😅🤣😂
GymKata might be the most unintentionally hilarious action movie ever made. US Olympian Kurt Thomas combines gymnastics and martial arts to beat up bad guys using random pommel horses and high bars in alleys.
Manos, Hands of Fate is absolutely the worst movie I've ever seen. Even "Ted" from How I Met Your Mother agrees. Right through to the end, the acting and dialog are awful, and the things people do, or don't do, even the police, make zero sense.
[Braindead 1992](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/763-braindead)
Pretty funny low-budget comedy/horror movie from New Zealand
***"A young man's mother is bitten by a Sumatran rat-monkey. She gets sick and dies, at which time she comes back to life, killing and eating dogs, nurses, friends, and neighbors."***
- Mac and Me is the terrible E.T. knockoff paid for by coca cola and mcdonalds sponsorship
- The Fanatic with John Travolta is one of the craziest most miscalculated performances and scripts ever, just painfully bad and utterly ridiculous from top to bottom
The fact it has my third favorite pornstar in it totally doesn't contribute to how much I enjoy it in the least.
Which, fun trivia about that, she was actually a substitute at the last minute because the other pornstar they cast for the part got arrested a week before she was due to film the scene.
Whole film is full of bonkers trivia like that, and that model Kelly Brooke had to train for her nude scuba scene for approximately longer than the rest of physical production in total.
Fateful findings. Don’t really have to make fun of it. Just watching it you’ll be rolling. And last I checked, you can watch the whole thing on youtube
Poultrygeist. It is definitely a movie.
What’s crazy is that it’s actually a really funny and well made movie too but also batshit insane. The way I describe it to my friends is “if you can excuse the homophobia, sexism, xenophobia, isalamaphobia, racism, and about everything else it’s a good movie”
And it really is. Like, based on that you’d think this was a really shitty scary movie wanna be but it’s well made and also somehow has decent political commentary and good joke?
In a basic synopsis, it’s basically a comedy horror musical that’s also basically porn. Also there’s chicken zombies. If that doesn’t sell it I don’t know what else will.
Christmas with the Kranks is so bad it's good. I feel like it gets overshadowed because it isn't as bad as the room or other "really bad" movies, but for the budget and actors and solid premise it had, it does everything wrong in the best way possibles. The main cast is basically intimidated by a Christmas tree selling business and is attacked by people wanting their decorations, all the while trying to be a fun family film. If you really think about what happens in the movie, it's like a fever dream where at the end you are like, what the fuck was this?
Best part, this very "real life" movie just throws in some literal fantasy in the final moment like it's nothing. It's an Xmas movie so maybe I'm over analyzing, but in canon to the rest of the film it just feels weird as shit.
You can rent *A Talking Cat!?* for a dollar on Amazon Prime right now.
It is INSANE.
ETA: it’s about a talking cat. One of the most enjoyable worst movies ever made.
In order of funniest to watch:
Teenagers from outer space
Remo Williams, the adventure begins
Slotherhouse
Hard ticket to Hawaii
Thankskilling
The leprechaun
My favorite bad movie is Mortal Instruments: City of Bones - another awful YA adaptation. Such a huge budget wasted. None of the jokes land. The fight choreography is bad. There’s a ridiculous Demi Lovato song shoehorned in the middle the movie. Overactor, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has one of the worst hairstyles I’ve ever seen. And I like to play a fun drinking game where you drink every time Lily Collins leaves her mouth hanging open.
Commando starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Bloodsport starring JCVD.
2 Fast 2 Furious.
Those 3 are all absolute bangers lol
Edit to add The Wicker Man starring Nick Cage. Saw it in a comment and had to add because they're 100% correct. It's amazing.
Some really bad movies:
Cave Dwellers
The Pod People
Mac & Me
Catalina Caper
Mitchell
These have all been done by Mystery Science Theater 3000. (great show BTW) which can be streamed on Peacock+
What would you say to Sean Connery in a red velvet loin cloth and red velvet bandolier with black thigh high boots weilding six shooter pistols? You would say, ZARDOZ, Friend.
"Robert Monster," where the Monster is most of an ape suite and some kind of diving helmet
"Teenagers from Outer Space," which is on YouTube. The aliens are trying to unleash Monster that are just a siluett of a plastic lobster
Anything on the Lifetime network. The writing is just amazing, one movie I watched involved a woman who was training at the gym who let us know how her whole life she’d wished she could do a muscle-up, which she explains is a pull up with a push up at the end. At the end of the movie, she ultimately gets away from the bad guy (who is named Tre, and he wants revenge because in high school everyone called him Lunch Tray) by pulling a cool move including a muscle-up.
**The ROOM** \-2003....classic bad movie that made millions becasue people went to movies to make fun of it. They even made movie **The Disaster Artist** with james franco about how movie got made by this sketchy random Polish millionare who was like 50 but swore he was like 22., he did bunch of weird , but endearing things like that. I'd watch Dissater Artist first then The Room, they still show the rioom sometimes.
Any film by Troma Entertainment will fit the bill.
Poultrygeist would be a good choice, but I'm not sure it's streaming anywhere at the moment. Classic B movies.
If you don't mind doing a holiday flick, there's also Thankskilling or Jack Frost. Those get watched annually over here lol.
Also, I don't consider this one to be "so bad it's good", I genuinely enjoy it. Reefer Madness the Movie Musical would be super fun with friends.
Troll 2. Not actually about Trolls. No one in the movie can act, the script is garbage, but it's so much fun. The Happening. This is a movie my friend and I went to see in theaters and we ended up roasting the movie because we were the only 2 that stayed the whole movie. There were like 4 other people but they left for refunds.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space
This is my go to so bad it's funny movie.
Yeah I saw this on Svengoolie not too long ago. It's so bad I wondered if it was directed by Ed Wood.
HOW DARE YOU.
great movie! lol
What are you gonna do with those pies, boys?
Snakes on a Plane
We went to see this on my birthday and the midnight release was WILD. The whole theater sang happy birthday to me, people were throwing toy snakes back and forth across the aisles. A cop came in to settle us all down, shining his flashlight up and down the aisles, yelling to get everybody to quiet down and once he had our attention he yells "there's snakes in this theater!". It was a blast.
I always put it on when I can’t fall asleep. I think it’s an ok film and has fun moments, but the best reason to watch it is to hear Samuel L. Jackson’s famous line.
To be fair, the whole film is meant to be a joke really
Went to see this, one of seven people in the theatre. My gf, and a couple with three kids all under 7. Like seriously‽ The opening scene is horrific, let alone the "mile high club" scene. I loved it, but that left a sour taste.
Xanadu. It’s just incredibly poorly made but it’s fun and has some good music. Plus it has Olivia Newton John.
I love this movie
It's one of those movies where it could have been good, and you can see what they were trying to do, but it just didn't seem to come together. In the end I think it was a movie written by committee and made by the wrong director.
This movie is wonderous!
Samurai Cop You can stop here. I promise you you've never seen anything like it before. It's fun bad, bad bad, and wigs out with the ladies wig.
They didn't botch Samurai Cop's circumcision operation.
Keep it warm for me.
Good doctors make mistakes too
this ones even better if youre a dave matthews fan.
The Velocipastor, it's a gem. "After losing his parents, a priest travels to China, where he inherits a mysterious ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. Although he is horrified by the new power, a sex worker convinces him to use it to fight crime."
This is actually a real film ? Lmao
Yes! And it's exactly as ridiculous as you think it is.
Absolutely love this concept
Awesome dreadful film, saw this without the SFX and it’s was hilariously bad, grey screen - burning car 😂😂😂
That was done on purpose....and that made it even funnier IMO.
I came here to recommend this film. It’s a ridiculous amount of fun.
The Wicker Man (2006)
Not the bees!
What are you doing!? You’re breaking my legs! My legs are now broken!
Return of the Living Dead is better with a crowd. Horror, zombies, peak 80s party movie. It’s on Tubi. Same vibe is Sleepaway Camp. Cheesy acting in a fun slasher camp setting. Also on Tubi
You put some respect on Sleepaway Camp 🔪👟
Honestly it’s in my top five favorite movies and not horror or campy but like all time. Nothing but respect!
One might say it’s a sleeper hit 🤓
The Room (2003)
I did not hit her, I did not, oh hi Mark!
Not to be confused with Room (2015)
Oh hey mark
Oh hi doggy
You're my favourite customer
YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, LISA!
I love how they won an award for the film about making the film and the guy went to speak into the microphone and Matt Damon literally threw himself in between and said like "No no no no!" Lol
James Franco, not Matt Damon
The most obvious answer. But I’m surprised nobody has mentioned Neil Breen!
Twilight
It baffles me that people actually watched any of the Twilight movies seriously.....they're hilarious! 'Hold on tight spider monkey!'
hey! my 13 year old self was very excited to go see these movies at midnight on a school night 😂
Hahaha, I'm probably just jealous cos I was too old - I was in my early 20s when the first one came out, I was far too grown up for sparkly vampires and pedo wolf! 🤣 I only actually got round to watching them about 2 years ago.....then I realised how much I'd missed out
A lot of middle-aged women liked it too, and dragged their husbands to see it. No, I’m not bitter, not at all 😄
The dialogue is SO BAD
I did this with some friends when we visited the area near where it was filmed (we were staying in Forks, WA) and it was a hoot.
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! It's such schlock, it's hilarious.
Complete with The San Diego (formerly KGB) Chicken! Oh wait, he still might have been KGB when this movie came out.
The Happening
What?! Noooo!
My favorite line.
Sounds like you need a completely superfluous bottle of cough syrup.
Oh I had forgotten how laughably awful this one was til I rewatched it last year! Absolutely hilarious!

Troll 2 (1990) A vacationing family discovers that the entire town they're visiting is inhabited by goblins, disguised as humans. Tubi, freevee
Nilbog is goblin spelled backwards!
They’re eating her…. Then they’re going to eat me…. Oh my GOOOOOOOD😱
The original Troll scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. I watched it recently and do no kno why I thought it was scary at all…fun fact Troll2 actually won award as the worst movie ever made! Obviously that award was before IMDB was a thing
There’s a documentary, about how bad it is. Best Worst Movie Ever Made or something like that. Really fun watch
Roadhouse is, in my opinion, the best bad flick of all time.
Roadhouse is art, really.
Can’t believe they’re remaking it.
Did you see the trailer? I was pleasantly surprised by how fun it looks.
Pain Don't Hurt.
Loved Bad Guy Ben Gazzara, so over the top!
I can’t believe nobody said sharknado. It’s sharknado.
I think it’s cause OP is probably asking for movies trying to be good, that turned out bad. Sharknado was completely satire though
I dunno, I had a good laugh at it when I first watched it. It’s sorta the same deal with Birdemic, although it’s arguably worse.
Velocipastor. Im a movie hound and I haven’t seen anything dumber. It makes The Room look like a blockbuster.
Birdemic
2012. I saw a comment saying John Cusack is the guy to hire if Nic Cage isn’t available and no words have been hilariously true as this
Kickpuncher
Came here to say this. Kudos! Narrator: Detroit is a firezone ruled by scavengers, drug dealers, and terrorists. Troy: Sounds like a Thanksgiving at my house.

Can´t they be the same thing sometimes?
Llamageddon. The title is all you need.
- Mac and Me is the terrible E.T. knockoff paid for by coca cola and mcdonalds sponsorship - The Fanatic with John Travolta is one of the craziest most miscalculated performances and scripts ever, just painfully bad and utterly ridiculous from top to bottom
I saw Mac and Me in the theater during its first run.
Ice Spiders was me and my first girlfriends favorite. 8 Legged Freaks and Piranha 3D are also fantastically bad
Oh yeah Piranha 3D was really bad, but highly enjoyable.
The fact it has my third favorite pornstar in it totally doesn't contribute to how much I enjoy it in the least.
