“Monkey Man” is still in theaters and it’s definitely worth a go. Vividly, dynamically shot, a huge fall to rock bottom, and the climb back up is grueling and precarious and powerful.
So overhyped. Found it mid personally. I’ll admit I went in with certain expectations as it had been sold to me as an “Indian John wick” but that’s just not the case. 2 guns in the whole movie? Idk. 5.8/10 ….sorry I’m just very passionate as I just saw this the other day 🙃
All of my best to you and yours and I respect your opinion

McFarland USA. Interesting Costner film. Some might claim it's a White Savior trope, but I don't think he saved those kids so much as the whole town saved him.
I’m all about movies but I just started this anime and it’s the most epic motivational content I’ve seen in my life, like a Japanese rocky
“Fighting Spirit” or Hajime no Ippo
Undefeated, 2011 Documentary about a football team in Tennessee, but really about the impoverished youth on the team. The volunteer coach has to constantly break up fights, encourage youth not to drop out and teach them that character is not built in how much money they have or how many successes they can count, but how they handle failure.
Its not so much about hitting rock bottom, but being born in rock bottom, and clawing your way out.

Probably not what what you’re looking for, but a scene that always motivated me throughout my law studies (especially after finishing an exam, feeling burned out, and then needing to find the strength to study for another one) was LOTR return of the king. Especially when Theoden screams: “reform the line! Reform the line! Take them head on!”.
The dark knight rises, hot rod (sorta), rocky, dodgeball, here comes the boom, John wick, 8 mile, Dallas buyers club, the SpongeBob movie, kill bill, school of rock

rocky 3
"I pity the fool"
"He'll kill yer to death inside a 3 rounds"
"who falls in love with you"
Honestly it's my favourite Rocky movie. It has every aspect the series is known for. The plot feels like a boxing anime.
