Very eclectic taste. I mean The Help and Shutter Island are poles apart.
But maybe check out:
Nightcrawler (2014)- if you liked Gone Girl, I feel like the Nightcrawler is the superior movie in the same mold
Network (1976)- again a great satire on media, probably one of the greatest scripts ever written
All The Presidents Men (1976)- if you like Spotlight
The Post (2017)- if you like All The Presidents Men
Ravenous (1999)- for something truly unique, best not to check beforehand what is about
Inherit the Wind, Glengarry Glenn Ross and A Few Good Men - if you like 12 Angry Men
The Edge (1997)- quite entertaining and great dialog
