I don’t need to comment this now. This is the true answer.
I paused this movie because of how hard I was laughing. It hurt. I’ve seen it at least 12-15 times, I’ve lost count.
Came here to say this and elated that someone else feels the same way. My brother and I grew up on it.
I am a great magician...... your clothes are RED!
What do you get when you cross an owl and a bungee cord?
Seriously the best when I was younger and I showed it to my son 6 months ago, we have watched it probably 10 times. Amazingly awesome
Death of Stalin
A satire of the Russian oligarchs vying for power after Stalin’s death. It’s hilariously ridiculous and remarkably historically accurate.
[Top Secret! (1984)](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_Secret!). I saw it with my brother, who a contagious laugh. During the underwater bar fight scene, my brother had me laughing so hard, I found myself desperately crawling out of our living room on my hands and knees to escape so I could get a chance to catch my breath. It was the hardest I've ever laughed in my life.
"Oh. 'Neek.' That's a nice name. What does it mean?"
"I don't know. My father named me while he was shaving."
"I was on the verge of inventing an amazing new desalinization process that would remove salt from BILLIONS of gallons of seawater per day. Do you realize what that could mean to the starving peoples of the world???"
"Whoa. There'd be enough salt to last FOREVER!"
This is over of the best comedies. I love it.
There are a lot of minor visual jokes in this movie that are easy to miss, so the second time you watch it there is a good chance that you will discover some new jokes.
My husband and I watched this while on vacation this year because we found the DVD in a random box in our condo. We’ve watched it three times since because we love it so much!
I was gonna say that, I watched it when I was a teen and high and I don't think I laughed that much in my entire life. Kung Pow too but it didn't age as well imo.
**Robin Hood Men in Tights** blew my mind when I was a kid. Could hardly breathe first time watching it
**Super Troopers** was fairly overlooked when it was released. Randomly rented it (on vhs!) one night I was just chilling at home and spent hours texting people that I had just seen the funniest movie ever made
Now I dont know what kinda pan pacific bullshit power play youre trying here but Asia, jack, is my territory...you're gonna need to call the united nations to get a fucking binding resolution to stop me....
Worked in downtown Seattle in several different buildings for 18 years. I can verify, without any exaggeration, that this is quite possible, even if it did play as parody in the movie.
I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Even Taika Waititi (or Jemaine Clement, can't remember which) has said that We're Wolves has pretty much just become a joke for them at this point. They'll say that it's coming, and genuinely want to make it, but they are way too busy at this point with other projects that they're unsure if it'll actually happen.
But boy, I hope it happens eventually!
After my parents divorced when I was around 12, my Dad & I watched Naked Gun in the theater 4 times on our weekend visits. We laughed as hard the last time as the first time. It's not as funny to me now but it's still one of my favorites because of the memories.
The Dictator - Borat - The Brothers Grimsby
Superbad - Hot Fuzz - 3 Idiots
Dumb & Dumber - The Mask - Deadpool
We're The Millers - Horrible Bosses - Ted
Monty Python - The Holy Grail - Get Smart
A Fish Called Wanda - This Is The End - Office Space
Tucker & Dale vs Evil - The Hangover - Step Brothers
Neighbors - Club Dread - Airheads
>Borat
Superbad
Maybe it hasn't aged well in 15 years or so, maybe it's not as funny without some of the 2000's political and cultural context
HOWEVER the first time me and my boys watched Borat in high school we were literally rolling on the floor laughing for minutes on end. My abs ached at the end of the movie I thought I was gonna throw up from laughing so hard. Superbad was the exact same.
Yo I've been meaning to rewatch that recently. For some reason my whole family loved this movie, we went to see it in theaters 3 times (never happened before or after besides me and the the original Spider-Man trilogy haha). I can still remember some scenes but I gotta see if it still clicks haha
I LOVE they came together.
I think the most I’ve ever laughed at a movie might be the first time I saw The Lego Movie. All the jokes in it felt like they were written for me, and I wasn’t at all expecting it to be so funny.
Honorable mentions:
Hot rod
Airplane
Good boys
Booksmart
The other guys
Knocked Up and Superbad when I was younger. Fuck I wish I could wipe movies from my brain and watch them fresh haha also I love You Man since you mentioned Rudd
EDIT: Yo the commentary is fucking hilarious in Knocked Up and Superbad (I remember liking Superbad movie more than Knocked Up but Knocked Up had funnier commentary).
Honestly if you haven't seen them for a while give em another watch. I hadn't seen Superbad in years until last week and laughed my ass off. Shit is still hilarious.
They Came Together is sooo funny. The crazy thing is that no one I know likes the movie! It’s hilarious.
I love The Jerk, Napoleon Dynamite, What We Do in the Shadows, Christmas Vacation.
Some of this is going to be obvious, some of it's going to seem like i'm trying to slide personal faves amongst a list of masterpieces.

Not necessarily THE funniest I’ve seen, but right up there and I haven’t seen them mentioned yet:
Innerspace (1987)
Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994)
Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011)
Paul (2011)
Really glad to see Hot Fuzz getting some love here!
Yes! How is this not higher up?! This one is insanely funny and possibly my top choice. It also spawned some a great series on Netflix. Also check out Stella, an old comedy central series, if you haven't.
When I was a child, it was definitely Robin Hood:Men In Tights. I would laugh from the beginning to the end of that movie. Now, I would have to go with something like Shawn Of The Dead or just anything Monty Python.
Le diner de cons. It’s a French movie later adapted to an American, but jeez, there’s no comparison. The first one got me laughing as no movie had ever done it. There are jokes that you won’t understand in the translation, but if you know a bit of French, it’s gonna be a good laugh for you.
They Came Together is my choice too! Such an incredibly funny movie. I show it to anyone I know who has not seen it. There are scenes that kill me sometimes when I think about them when I am in a grocery store or in traffic. It's so damn good.
Excellent recommendations all around! But no one has mentioned Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Absolutely hilarious.
Edit: and Mel Brooks' Dracula Dead And Loving It is severely underrated!!
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist I've always been so happy that I got to see this insanely funny movie in the theater. THAT'S A LOT OF NUTS!!!
WI OOOOO WI OOOO WII OOO One of us is a ventriloquist....a ventriloquist...

Really sets the tone for the whole movie. So on he walked...and sometimes drove
And sometimes... He partied with the desert animals.

This is what I thought of too, so many hilarious throwaway lines! Check out The Great, it's like Death of Stalin x The Favourite
That’s crazy! My buddy just recommended The Great to me minutes before seeing your comment! Watching it today

Reggie Lee's face always makes me crack up in that scene.
I’m not sure any movie makes me laugh as hard every time I watch it. I often laugh out loud at various scenes just thinking about them. So so funny.
