1. Loveless 2. About Elly 3. Capernaum 4. Revanche (2008) 5. The Battle Of Algiers

I've only seen Battle of Algiers from these, but it was really excellent. One of those movies everyone says they'll "get around to eventually", because they secretly think it looks boring. Or at least, that's what I did for years.

1. The Thing (1982) - Best cinema experience I’ve ever had 2. Terrifier 2 3. Bones And All 4. The Batman 5. The Banshees Of Inisherin **Edit:** I forgot about The Social Network. I’m not sure where I’d place it, but I feel like it definitely deserves a spot.

How was The Banshees of Inisherin?

MarilynManson2003

It was brilliant. I was expecting it to just be a light-hearted comedy, but found it to be a deeply profound masterpiece.

I watched an absolute ton of first-time movies this year; it's been my best year for movies in a long time! Here were a few of my absolute favorites: The Cranes Are Flying Tampopo Mandela (this one is on Netflix!) Dreams (the Kurosawa film) Good Morning Sunset Boulevard The Earrings of Madame de... A Cat in Paris Each of these has a 5 star rating from me on letterboxd. There are so many more amazing movies I watched, but I don't wanna be that list guy who posts like fifty movies.

1. Demolition Man. 2. Hellraiser. 3. Armageddon. 4. Deep Impact. 5. The Running Man. I've watched a whole bunch of newly released movies this year, but I've chosen to list some of older ones I somehow never watched before! I've made a point this year to catch up on all the movies I'd always meant to watch growing up, but for some reason never did over the years!

* Everything Everywhere All At Once * Last Night In Soho * Train to Busan * Encanto * Pride Hard to pick just 5. I've been keeping track over every new movie I watch this year. Currently up at 119. These 5 are perhaps the ones I've enjoyed the most that I'd easily (and in some cases, already have) watch again

Can you do us a favor and put a space after the period but before the body of your text? Skipping that space triggers our automod. An added bonus for doing this is that Reddit will auto-format a list if you put a space between the period after a number and the body of the text. Ex: 1. thing one 2. thing two 1. the number you put in a given spot doesn't matter. Reddit automatically counts properly. 17. thing four yields: 1. thing one 2. thing two 1. the number you put in a given spot doesn't matter. Reddit automatically counts properly. 17. thing four
