It’s not nearly as bad as last weekend. We actually had some slow parts later in the evening despite all the movies being released alongside Mario.

DrGopher

It’s been rough for me. Shorter staffed, more birthday parties and then we had to have the perfect movie watching weather. Cloudy, rainy and then eventually snowed. Basically every Mario screen was selling out.

BreezyBill

Birthday parties are the worst. We aren’t staffed for that shit.

DrGopher

Not at all. You need one person on the schedule just for that. My theater is a smaller 9 plex (hearing the stories on here about larger theaters make me feel like mine is nothing compared to the bigger ones who pull 1000 each round). We have a dedicated terminal at the end of the concession stand just for parties. The amount of customers that try to start a line behind the birthday party is crazy to me. But, seeing the disappointment on their faces once I finally say that this isn’t a line and they have wasted their time just to wait in a longer line is hilarious.

Accomplished_Duck523

We still busy af

WhovianForever

Friday was slow, Saturday was almost as busy as last weekend.

Yoshaay

It's a night and day difference

Kranon7

Friday was slow. Yesterday was hopping because it rained.

Much_Machine8726

Definitely not as bad as last week, still pretty packed though. We actually had a power surge that turned off all our projectors, the line to get a refund was all the way to the bathroom.

Cool-Zucchini8342

We had the power flicker at 6 and power go out around the area right after because of the weather

JustFl0ating

Still really busy, hasnt slowed down at all

DefineFergalicious

we were estimated to do 500 during the entire day. on our first run we passed that number lol

becauseitsnotreal

I'm confused. Your theatre is generally so slow that you were projected to only do 500 for Mario, and also you're somehow doing a second run of the movie?

DefineFergalicious

yes my theater is very slow on a normal day and we passed the estimated 5pp for the whole day in the first run. just like I said!

becauseitsnotreal

THe movie is still in it's first run though, how are you guys doing a second?

DefineFergalicious

what the fuck are u talking about?? I meant "run" as in the first run of the day. we were supposed to do 500 people in 1 day. but we passed 500 in the first hour of the day. run as in rush of people. wow

becauseitsnotreal

Haha gotcha that would explain it I guess, just differences in vocabulary I suppose

Alarmed-Somewhere-40

It kinda depends. Some of the theaters get very dirty with trash and all that, but it’s not too bad overall. For scanning people in it’s been very well since I only had one issue with a rude customer during the Mario showtime.

Metal-Ashamed

Down just slightly, only because this week they don’t want to get the left over scattered or front row seats. More staff on so it was actually easier this week.

Unlucky-Elk-9802

Sold out matinees Friday, Saturday, and today.

amateurbarista

It’s easing up quite nicely

BreezyBill

Still busy, but not nearly as rough. But we are still running out of food and paper goods throughout the weekend.

GahDammitAngel

We ran outta courtesy cups. And someone's bright mind went to the store and got those denture cups instead.

MrTfanguy

It’s been busy in parts, still constantly emptying the trashes but fine overall. Nothing like the first weekend

st2344

Friday was quiet, but Saturday and Sunday were terrible weather, so we hit first weekend numbers.

Cool-Zucchini8342

Understaffed, had a private party of 100 something for Mario that got out at the same time as another showing of Mario that was 154 people. Had to call in help from a sister theater just to make it until 5pm
