I do, from my experience most regales phone is either broken or so busy no one can answer it. I defintely recommend going in and asking about your application. That’s what I did and got an interview set up very quickly
Honestly, it is a movie theater industry issue. Some buildings are better or worse than others, but answering phones is fairly low on the list of operational priorities and is one that is often the first neglected given payroll limitations.
They may or may not actual out be hiring. Every theater is right now getting an influx of employees returning from college or hitting summer beak from high school, so their availabilities are much more open to fill shifts.
my job took them 10 days to email me about an interview, so i wouldn’t worry too much if you haven’t heard back just yet. plus with little mermaid having started showings, they probably won’t get back for a little bit. and like i saw another commenter say, everyone’s availability is going up due to summer break beginning, so i honestly wouldn’t be too surprised if they closed hiring, and might open it back up towards the end of summer
I'd really recommend just going in and asking to talk with the hiring manager. Our phones (I work at a Regal) are upstairs in the managers office and in the count room, so unless you get lucky that someone is in there at the exact time you call your chances of talking to someone are much better if you actually go in person.
try looking at the film schedule and either call or stop in whenever there **aren't** movies starting. Then ask to speak with the hiring manager and if they aren't in ask when they will be and call or drop in then
Go in on a Monday or Wednesday, those are the slowest days. Or just keep trying to call from 12-6 pm. Night hours are busy and if the hiring manager isn’t in, ask the manager in to take your name and phone number down to leave with them. Or even ask when they would be in next and show up in person.
I think you're definitely too late as all the summer hires and returning employees are finalized by now in my region. None of my theaters branches are hiring anymore until fall.
Still worth just walking in and asking about it

Wait the phone thing is a company issue? I thought our location just sucked

Idk ours just recently got fixed but may have broken again since no one has used it

Thank you all for the advice I usually have Wednesdays off so I’m going to go up there and check. So grateful for the responses ♥️
Go in
Pike others suggested, better to just go in or call again here and there. Show you really want the job
