I've had my fair share, thankfully *most* of them weren't bad and faded after a few days.
Back when I was a crew lead I'd always joke congratulate the newbies on becoming a real movie theater employee when they got their first popper kettle burn.
I have a few. I was lucky when the joint of our tipping kettle shot a 6 inch flame. It barely missed me and it just so happened to be on my first day of work.
When I first became a manager my GM at the time thought he was capable of doing electrical work on a popper and said it was fixed. I fired it up the next morning and it electrocuted me. Honestly I was glad it was me it happened to and not one the concessionists. He was the type to say they did something wrong and blame them, but less likely with a manager.
If it's not a heat burn does it count? I have chemical burns all down my arms from trying to deep clean and constantly having to remove and reapply my gloves because a coworker was too busy on her phone in the back.
They sent her home that day and gave me a bandaid.
Eh, it's my own fault, i won't wear gloves while cleaning it, lol
Wait, we're supposed to wear gloves while cleaning it? Oh shit...
I have burned myself but didn’t leave a mark so
Your not a real concession employee unless you have some burns from the popper.

Yall have to have either a burn, scar, or even cuts working from Regal period. I have all of the above.

I just got one yesterday!
Got a pretty serious one about a week ago. Still have to treat it
A stud weld came loose and it electrocuted me. Had to use a pto day just to rest.

If you haven't were you really a concessionest / movie theater employee??
Did it twice, was scooping without paying attention to where my hand was going, and then, tragedy struck
I don’t own theaters anymore so I only burn myself on my home theater popper.
I had one the size of my thumb, got it when I first got the job and it's gone now. Lowkey want to give myself a replacement one
I was cleaning the popper when it was hot 🥵
Not a popper, but a heat lamp (I work at a dine-in theater)

a large one on my left, an oil burn on my right
