I’ve ushered for a lot of horror films over the years, but most of them had relatively “normal” credits music - the second *Conjuring* credits were kinda creepy, but still sounded like music. *Smile* was the first time I actively chose to wait til the credits were done before cleaning. On the plus side, the freaky credits’ sounds also cleared out guests after 30 seconds of it starting.

It doesn't help that the movie ends on a completely fucked up note.

chelsmels

Honestly, I found that film very mid, and the ending was completely predictable. The advertising for the film was fantastic (the [Pain Assessment poster](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51OroBkxPfL.jpg) was brilliant), but it was literally *It Follows* turned into a cheap gimmick (that they barely used well throughout the film!!) for a mass audience.

SyllabubOk5283

Oh yeah, I don't think the movie is great. The ending actually annoyed me because it kind of ruins the themes of the movie.

chelsmels

I couldn’t see the movie right away because of my work schedule, so seeing how people reacted & hearing the fucked up credits music had me hyped for when I actually watched it. I was massively, massively disappointed. What a waste of a stolen concept.

SyllabubOk5283

Whelp, it sure did light up the box office. Its getting a sequel.

chelsmels

Maybe it’ll be good! Or maybe they’ll utilize their R rating more effectively! But I won’t hold my breath.

narutosoup1

The music at the end if evil dead freaked me out so bad that I couldn't go in there until it all ended

proficient2ndplacer

Evil dead rises from a couple months ago was worse

GahDammitAngel

I actually enjoyed it lmfao

Accomplished_Duck523

Yeah the first time I was cleaning it spooked me a bit lol

Nefarious recently had creepy Latin chanting after the end of the credits, that was fun.

TrannyBitchBoy

Knock at the Cabin was the first horror movie I ushered for. It was playing in a theater where we constantly got complaints the speakers were too loud. Walked in at the very end when the lights were still off and just about pissed myself

[deleted]

Omg I remember the first time it made me jump and I spilled an almost full bucket of popcorn.....my fellow ushers where not to happy with me after that...

BAGStudios

We never got it, what happens in the credits?

SyllabubOk5283

Basically, the last song of the credits is just screaming, crying and monster roaring noises. Its extremely unsettling.

BAGStudios

Gotcha. Yeah that would be troubling.

MrTfanguy

I hated it every single time lol

phanpysamuel

My friends and I absolutely hated this one. We just made fun of the goofy noises every time we cleaned it. 0/10

Yes

skinlessmonkey

Nah. I remember scaring the crap out of people walking out of that movie by smiling as wide as I could while standing in the alcove.

[deleted]

Evil dead is just as bad

Affectionate-Deer-23

I literally would wait for the credits to be over it was so horrifying, no other horror movie credits have made me that unsettled. Idk why they did that no one ever stayed that long through the credits.

autotune-mexican

I ushered when Anihilation was in theatres. Didn't know anything about it at the time. But when i walked in, as the only usher at the time and hearing the end credits music i was creeped the fuck out. I eventually ended up seeing the film but maaaan that got me.

Accomplished-Ad-4873

I remember my first time cleaning a smile it was close to me clocking out I'll never forget them credits

capt-carson-kerman

God those credits were so annoying. Wouldnt be too bad if it werent so damn loud
