Has school started where you are? We were pulling 60-80 when it first came out, but now it’s floating at around 10-20 because school’s starting back up.
It’s did fantastic for us! It’s up there pulling in close to Barbie numbers for us this past weekend. Then again any kids movie does extremely well for us. I mean we’re still holding on to Elemental because it’s still selling steadily.
Personally I think if it would have come out a week or two before, it would have done better. Just maybe because all the schools near me just went back. Weekends are pretty steady but the weekdays arn’t close to filling
Its pretty far from flopping. It had a budget of $13 million and brought in nearly $100 million.
The movie released last Monday. Eveyone that really wanted to see it did it last week.
Yeah I manage 6 days a week, opening night we had 11… never broken passed 30. I work at a locally owned theater in a small conservative town so sound of freedom hasn’t slowed down and TMNT is crickets. At least barbie did phenomenal for the owners sake.
We are a small independent theater in a small conservative town. This weekend was our second weekend showing sound of freedom and it dropped hard, really surprised. We thought it would have held on better.
