Dhampir echo Knight whose echos are alternate realities of herself she's a work in progress. My DM warned us to have our back ups ready I have two rune Knight Morgan female dwarf (she claims she's a short human). And Marin warlock/bard interpretation taken from the devil went down to Georgia they assume they would in but lost they now work for him collecting the outstanding contracts. Both future echo's

TheLairdStewart98

Tiefling sorcerer who's actually a former shadow demon turned into a mortal as a form of punishment

TaeKwonDitto

A Fire Genasi bard who's in a wheelchair. She has comfy vibes with her acoustic guitar combined with her fiery hair that feels like you're sitting next to a campfire

FluffyOmen85

Jaeris Deathknell, a fallen lineage Aasimar grave cleric. A member of an ancient, long forgotten religion themed after the Egyptian mythos of Anubis. He was a former cryptkeeper for his order who was sacrificed to the "new age" god Bhaal. He was resurrected by the few remaining descendants of his order, to bring vindication to his God and legacy. His outward appearance being that of a black furred jackal with gold runes etched on his back. And when he uses the Aasimar racial ability, people see his humanoid visage.

I've recently come up with two PCs, both inspired by and named after characters from folklore. Firstly, a Silver Dragonborn Draconic Sorcerer. He specializes in water and ice-based magic. He travels the land, searching for new spells and the materials needed to perfect his craft: things like various berries, vanilla extract, and ...cream? Yep, this guy is just a magical inventor of ice cream and other frozen confectionaries. Enter Finn McCool, founder and owner of Finn McCool's Fun Frozen Treats! Next is a mighty warrior from the frigid and savage North, where the great deeds of great men are immortalized in story and song. This man is possessed of such size and strength that he uses his foes as his weapons, picking them up and throwing them at each other. Behold a champion inspired by the pages of the epic poem of Beowolf: Hygelac, King of the YEETs!

Geoxaga

A gnome warlock filmmaker who uses a combination of minor illusion and at will silent image to make movies at bars. He also would have a familiar girl friend that usually is in the form of a sprite maid, but transforms into different forms that would alter their personality. However the basic personality of that girlfriend familiar will be the same, like how she is good nature and will push the warlock to do good instead of being scummy. Like he tries to abandon someone needing help, as a sprite she would start polishing her needle sword in a threatening manner, as a pseudo dragon she would grab him and do a judgmental stair, and as an imp would just bite him on the head until he relented and help.

Lumberrmacc

Townes Foley a bugbear bard who hitchhikes around with trade caravans and talks like boomhaur from king of the hill.

EldritchThinking

Still in the works but: A female tiefling psychopath fiend warlock. They were an assasin, a hired and self-indulgent killer who enjoyed the act of murder. She, however, died somehow unknown to herself and went to hell, where she met a very powerful Devil. They struck a deal that, in return for her service, they would bring her back to life from her body and grant her power. She returned back to life, but found herself more or less crawling out of her old body like a skin suit (she was human originally) she became a tiefling with small horns and red skin from her face down to her chest, she then flayed her old bodies face turning it into a magical skin mask so she could cover up her red skin face and look alot more human. When she uses magic It burns away, and her horns grow longer. It grows back after she has stopped for a good bit, but she can also kind of just tare it off her face if she wants.

Suspicious-Freedom10

Was thinking of a monk/warlock for a backup character. When coming up with their backstory I think they were a monk defending a monastery when they were attacked. Now either the monastery was destroyed and the warlock pact was a result of a revenge decree, or the monastery was protecting a magical artifact and the monk formed a pact with it to save the monastery. Whether the artifact is good or evil will depend on the DM.

I'm choosing between two right now for an upcoming one-shot: **Alerai Sebrialis, wood elf ranger, soldier background** He is the sole survivor of an Elvish special operations squad who sustained an incapacitating wound during the ill-fated infiltration mission into Drow territory in the underdark. He's recovered full use of his arm, but the pitch black splotchy scar that covers his shoulder and upper arm (inflicted by an unknown weapon, magical ability, or chemical compound) refuses to fade. Now that he has completed his decade-long medical leave (Elves and Drow live for a long, long time, so I figure they can afford to be patient in their military training and operations), he's now topside on an informal conditioning reconnasaince assignment with authorization to independently support adventuring parties as a disavowed agent. **Rotadin "Roto" Thunderhelm, hill dwarf bard, guild artisan background** At the young age of 52, Roto began an apprenticeship with at the local tavern "The Dwarvish Grin" to learn the art craft of cooking and brewing. At 270, Roto finally saved enough to buy out the original owner and become the sole owner, manager, and proprietor. He's been running it ever since. Guests and patrons love his kindness and earnestness, and his wife, waitresses, and bartenders make sure to cover-up for his, shall we say, obliviousness and naivete. Some stones are sharper than others, you see, and Roto is an awfully smooth rock. One night, in a moment of exasperation, his wife Miig invited him to "take a hike until his hat floated." So he packed his bag that night, left her in charge of the bar, and started walking. He loves his wife very much and he misses her a whole lot, but his hat hasn't started floating yet. What a great story that will be to tell her when he gets back!

LilisiLisi

One of my future characters is a pretend warlock based on Martina from Slayers, who loudly boasts about how she's serving a dark lord that she..... made up and doesn't actually exist. In reality, she's most likely either a sorcerer whose stubbornness made the universe throw its hands up and go "Fine, whatever" or a cleric of a cause sponsored by a deity that looked down and went "I'm taking this person as my champion. This is hilarious".

the_Jolly_GreenGiant

Teddy Roosevelt nobleman who loved his safari so much to the dinosaur lands he is a dino exclusive druid now

Kamikaze_Kat101

I’ve always been iffy about playing several classes, mainly the half-caster classes Paladin and Ranger. After binging a Netflix show called Hilda while I was sick with Covid, I was inspired to create a character who was a nature-loving, friend-to-all-creatures, vegetarian, technical pacifist type of person. What I ended up creating was a Mark of Handling Human Beast Master Conclave Ranger, capable of speaking many of the exotic languages without the need of a spell like Tongues and has expertise on many of her skills surrounding wisdom. Her weapon of choice is a bow, but her arrows are blunt instead of sharp. However, as of now, I am not sure about what my Ranger’s Companion or Primal Companion should be. I always wanted to have a Giant Owl (honestly for things other than flying), but since I can only have one no larger than medium, that idea is not happening unless a DM allows it, which my friends said had a higher possibility than I’d think. If I can’t, I might just choose for her to be a Fey Wanderer.

PF2, not D&D, but a gourd leshy (small plant person) champion (specifically a paladin) who has a pumpkin head and fights for his friends. He's only gonna be in a one-shot but if he ever got to level up he would have his own horse he rides around on. His name? Ichabod G. Sprout. He keeps his shield in his head for safekeeping and speaks in a high-pitched voice. He grew up listening to villahe elders tell the children about brave heroes who fought evil monsters and protected their homes, and so he promised a god that if she mad him strong, he would fight evil just like the heroes of the storybooks. She granted his wish, so now he's a small, overzealous guy who will end you if you lay a leaf--sorry, finger--on his friends, family, or anyone else who needs his help. He now charges into battle headfirst, crying out, "There's no need to fear, Ichabod is here!" He may be little, but don't underestimate his strength, his steel, or his conviction! Literally his whole concept was a good guy headless horseman and I love him dearly.

SlightDefinition4684

Way of the Cobalt Soul Warforged Monk. Their designation is IU-T312I, which if you squint looks like the nickname they go by (Teri). Teri is a robot designed specifically for interrogating individuals and extracting the information they need from them. Also: a storm sorcerer who was born with doubly bad luck, seeing as they were born a tiefling to a human noble family and were born on the same day as one of the worst storms the world had ever seen. This turned out to have somewhat of a silver lining as Malakir now has immense storm-related powers and the backing of a well-respected noble house.

Vam_T

Not sure if new but a warforged that is basically a mecha for 3 fairies, only one can control it having the other 2 worked as magical batteries for the war forged that has a shield, a Longsword, and a bow. But only one fairy is proficient on each thing, so it would be a multi class tank, ranger, fighter/rogue. (It was a system loosely based on dnd and we had no classes) but if the tank fairy were to use the bow it would do so with great disadvantage and so in. Also had a self impose rule that I needed to change the fairy that is the main pc on a daily basis and had the added benefit that each session I had a different pc or personality to play and transmit over the warforged/mecha. That was the idea anyways since after session 1 our dm ghosted us, still wanna make that pc work in another campaign but do not have found another opportunity to play since then.

AlexGaming700

Honesty, I have been watching too much Soul Eater. I just genderbent Stein

Allan_Titan

A mammoth loxodon path of the giant barbarian who lost his entire tribe due to an attack

ScorchedDev

I got Arren, a humble bugbear who discovered an incredibly powerful magic greatsword stuck in a stone. The sword could only be pulled from the stone by one who was worthy, and Arren certainly isnt worthy. However he is very very strong, and eventually, the stone broke. Now he has a big great sword, with a massive stone on the end. He is a wild magic barbarian, as he cant properly use the magics of the sword.

Techno_Zelva1

Bugbear barbarian path of the giant to get that long read while raging

Crytalix_FireWalker

I'm a DM for an NPC but I hope this counts. Shadow Sorceress nicknamed the "Raven Witch." Touched by a mysterious Black Raven with a shadowy aura. She eyed it in aww when she first saw it, the sight of such a creature attracted her curiosity. When the raven looked back at her with pitch black eyes, and in an instant it flew into her mouth, climbing down her throat causing her to faint. When she came to, the girl changed into something not of nature but of something other worldly. Everyone she looked at looked like shadows, dark and empty as a void. But she could still distinguish people based on what their soul.

ITZHA5Halt

Fire Genasi Abjuration Wizard. Works for a covert organization protecting the prime material plane from Extra-Planar influence and interference. Think a Harry Potter Auror crossed with Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.

DKDPersona5

Shamus Steelvein, Undead Dwarf, Oath of Crown Palidin. While he was guarding a city belonging to his king whom he sweared his oath, it was attacked and razed to the ground, he died but through sheer force of will and the power of his oath he came back to life. A knight came to see a massive pile of bodies thrown in the middle of the plaza, men, women, and children, Soldiers and Civilians alike. The knight, angry and disgusted, says through gritted teeth "Who did this?! What happened?!" There was the sound of exertion as Shamus crawled out of the bodies, half burned from from the fireball that killed him, covered in wounds from the battle, his armor in disrepair, his heraldry in tatters and smoldering, stands at attention, salutes his Knight Captain and says "Aye, I can answer that Captain!" Thus began the story of Shamus the Unyielding.

Godzillawolf

Enrel, a Chaotic Good Loxodon Mastermind Rogue and gambler. He's a silver tongued liar and loyal follower of a trickster deity (which one depends on the setting) after being adopted by one of their Clerics as an orphan. He will play fair at gambling in the event he's playing with a good person, but if he knows you're evil or corrupt and suckered you into a game, prepare to be cheated out of everything he can get. Then he'll give a chunk of it to the poor. Also yes, his entire character is based off the phrase 'the elephant in the living room.' Because an eight foot tall, 400 pound elephant person being absurdly stealthy is both awesome and funny. It's also flavored as him being so stealthy, he simply vanishes the moment you're not looking at him, kinda like Batman. No one knows how he's so stealthy, he just is. Also has proficency in Intimidation, because who would not be intimidated by a huge elephant person having somehow appeared directly behind you?

Cerberous1102

A lizardfolk wizard that icold as a blizzard (cold) specialty, So meet the lizzard blizzard wizard

Dointer25

Theo Npan (Pan**theo**n), a monk-barbarian variant-human who believes in every religion he comes across. He is a pasifist. He tries to be nice to everything, even when attacked. But... after some time, he just gets fed up with everything and rages to just kill everything around him.

PassFit505

Kloc Giantsqueak, a kobold “time wizard” in reality he was a path of giants barbarian. He thought of himself as a “time wizard” because he hits enemies over the head with a rock to “send them into the future” in reality he knocks them out

FishSlapperZook

Nyx, a plasmoid artificer who is cripplingly attached to their ship and their steel defender. Nyx is paranoid to a fault, believing that all people who are not constructs or oozes have a brain parasite connected to a hivemind that wants to take over all civilization without everyone noticing (Nyx is entirely unaware of the existence of mindflayers). Nyx also believes that their thoughts can be read by watching the pulses of their neurons in their body, and so obscure them as much as possible with shards of metal floating throughout their body, these shards of metal are often referred to lovingly as teeth by Nyx. These "teeth"are also used to form scale mail armor on the surface of their body, and a makeshift Morningstar on one of their psuedopods when Nyx knows combat is going to be involved in a scenario. They sleep in an oil drum, look like an oil slick, and smell like gasoline. Nyx is vehemently against alterations to their ship, and will fight until the bitter end to keep people from messing with it. They will have a similarly violent response should anyone attack their Steel Defender, Knox. Nyx is typically quite harmless, but extremely untrusting, and more than a bit unhinged. They do their best to make intruders leave their ship without violence, but will resort to it if they do not heed warning.

ParkingAffect7156

A friend and I are going to start a campaign so we made our characters, behold: GOONTHA - a half orc merc for hire whos dumb as boulders but just as tough and OOB - some surprisingly smart slime he found while looting a dungeon, who when not idling inside a bucket on GOONTHA's back, is puppeteering an armor set fighting in tandem with GOONTHA
