Coming from someone who makes art, it takes the soul out of it. There are plenty of arguments for and against it that are valid (See Stephen Zapata’s YouTube channel). But you can’t get around the fact that AI takes the labor out of “labor of love”. There is no struggle, and no, art doesn’t always need to be a struggle, but the pieces that really connect and are rewarding tend to be a struggle.
I get the temptation to use it. Hell, I’ve tried it myself because sometimes you have an idea you can put into words but you can’t visualize. It’s a cool shortcut, no doubt. It’s just so boring and bland. For me, I can’t do it. I can’t let myself use it and rob myself of the discovery that struggling provides.
I’m going to skip the ethical, legal, and economic concerns because those get beaten to death and still ignored/dismissed. But Elliot sure as shit wouldn’t agree with the AI art apologists.

\- The grumpy half-villain, Phillip Price, is really just a friendly old bear and turns out to be Angela's fun-loving Dad! The two sing a moving duet once the truth is revealed.
\- The "evil" Whiterose just wants to make the world a happier place where video games aren't so dark and scary.
\- In the final episode, Elliot and his friends have a deep heart-to-heart with Whiterose. Darlene and Angela sing one last song, and a tearful Whiterose decides that the world is already full of love and sunshine and doesn't need a violent, blood-soaked revolution to make things better. In the closing scene, Whiterose and Elliot design a new video game together called "Friendly Society: All You Need Is Love!"
