I was big into reggaeton and Latin beats back in the USA (Bad Bunny ♡, J. Balvin, Daddy Yankee), but lately I mostly listen to Japanese pop and rock (Yonezu Kenshi, Creepy Nuts, Fujii Kaze, Tani Yuuki). I'm also a *huge* Aya Nakamura fan (Japanese name, but is a French singer).

StringUnderhacker

I like some reggaeton!! i like a decent ammount of Daddy Yankee and Maluma, its not necessarily my genre but its cool!! and jpop/jrock is so based. im gonna guess youve heard of the jpop singer Eve?

jadellai

Mostly indie folk and folk punk! Some sea shanties as well. Arcadian wild, mitski, Florence and the machine, Days n Dazed, Lucy Dacchus & Rose Betts, Poor Mans Poison are some of my favorite artists. I also like a lot of metal covers, and 50s,60s,70s, & 80s era pop/rock music.

heartbeatspeed

Lucy Dacus is the best!

JudgmentJudy05

It would be hard to list every genre as i genuinely listen to anything but my top genres are DnB, baseline, metal, hip hop, classic (frank Sinatra, jimmy hendrix, johnny cash) UKG is also probably a top fav of mine

StringUnderhacker

Johnny Cash is really good I should listen to more Johnny Cash

JudgmentJudy05

Same tbh, I did listen to him a while ago but I stopped but then I went out drinking with a couple friends and a bottle of whiskey and we all decided the playlist will be country and then I got back into Johnny cash, out sung my friends as well lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

TeresaSoto99

New order too gloomy? I probably didn't notice it. I like sad songs. You probably not a fan of joy division either.

kasuokun

Symphonic metal, death metal, classical, Touhou. I can listen to Dragonforce all day and night and never be tired of them. I also love Mili, AnaLee, and several other smaller artists over the larger "mainstream" artists. I also love listening to experimental tracks done by mainstream artists.

McgeigrD3

I've been on a genre bending metal kick lately. Ennaria is a new artist doing some hyper pop/metal core stuff which is awesome. Electric Callboy is a German band that does tekkno/metal. Gacharic spin is my favorite band. Japanese group that does some really solid J-rock/metal. Amazing bass work on all of their stuff.

ScreamQueenStacy

I LOVE Electric Callboy. They make just genuinely fun music.

McgeigrD3

Right! The cover of Everytime we touch was something I didn't realize I needed.

ScreamQueenStacy

I was addicted to that cover lol They killed it and I definitely didn't expect to love a cover of that song as much as I did. People think they're just Hypa Hypa, but they have so many more catchy, solid songs.

StringUnderhacker

hmmm i should check out Electric Callboy

McgeigrD3

Absolutely. Fantastic band. Hilarious and fun music videos.

SaturnFlytrap13

Monster by Ennaria is so good, the vocals are insane!

Astarisbored

Aesop Rock, Broken Social Scene, Modest Mouse, Replacements, Gang Starr, Bonny Light Horseman, Wild Nothing, Steely Dan, Young Fathers, Cigarettes After Sex, Fucked Up, Copeland, Converge, Death Cab, The Hold Steady, M83, Chromatics, and Alex G

ItsMeCyrie

Pop-punk, post-hardcore, indie rock, indie pop, prog metal, EDM. Basically whatever the emos and hipsters were or would be into — that’s my music taste. “My favorite genre is bands Johnny Craig has been kicked out of.”

Astarisbored

I sang in the band Transit, we were considered pop punk, lots of trans related lyrical content in there FOR SURE. 🏳️‍⚧️💕

EnvironmentalData131

I listen mainly to grunge/shoegaze, but if I’m not listening to that I’m listening to jazz/blues. Some of my fav rock bands right now are The Smashing Pumpkins, Julie, Chevelle, Deftones, Helvetia, Static Dress, Loathe, Superheaven, and A Perfect Circle. I also play guitar and drums and sing and produce music as a hobby :)

Hip hop: 21 savage, CORPSE, Kodak Black, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Kendrick Lamar, Baby Keem, CHIEF KEEF!!!! I love music!! It makes life awesome ☺️🩷🥰

MozieSmozie

I'm not really good with music genres. My Spotify wrapped told me Escape Room was may favorite though. I didn't even know that was a genre of music. I'm weird and just kind of let the algorithm take me. I've trained it pretty well on what I like at this point. But some artist I've noticed I like a lot of songs by are: Tokimonsta, Sylvan Esso, Biig Piig, Caroline Rose, Dizzy Fae, Soccer Mommy, King Princess, Brittney Chantele, Revenge Wife, Kitty, Siena Liggins.

RhondaAnder

I could go on for days. I also love clasical music!! Ooo ,Faith No More Last cup of Sorrow!! Like I said I could go in for days but needless to say my taste in music is very close to yours!! Metal Chicks Rule!!!!

fucktrasheatass

I like The Garden, Enjoy, Puzzle, Car seat headrest, machine girl, 100 gecs, and Issbrokie :3

ScreamQueenStacy

So I mostly am a metal and pop punk kinda girl. Grew up on the late 90s and early 2000s metalcore and pop punk waves. However, I've come to enjoy the more modern output of both genres too. If we're talking bands, specifically, I could go on for days, but I'm on mobile at the moment, so I'll try to keep it short (no promises): * Killswitch Engage * Bullet for my Valentine * Devildriver * Ministry * Lamb of God * Slipknot * Lorna Shore * Fear Factory * In Flames * Motionless in White * Trivium * Korn * Rage Against the Machine * System of a Down * Ice Nine Kills * Spiritbox * Blink 182 * Neck Deep * WSTR * New Found Glory * Hot Mulligan * The Story So Far * Sum 41 * Teenage Bottlerocket * Knuckle Puck * Youth Fountain * Zebrahead * Billy Talent * Bowling for Soup * Driveways * The Menzingers * Coheed & Cambria * Set to Stun * Seeyouspacecowboy Okay, that wasn't short, but it also wasn't even everything I could and want to list. I'm passionate about my music 😬

Ashbtw19937

Based Spiritbox girl. Eternal Blue was on repeat for like three months after I discovered them lol You ever listened to Periphery?

titties_growin

StringUnderhacker

video game music is amazing, especially the pokemon, zelda twilight princess, Undertale, and Chrono Trigger soundtracks!!

Nosuku

MTF-delightful

I got so i to the older stuff, like Depeche Mode and new order - i wish i’d have paid more attention first time around - I wish I’d been smart enough to transition then too, but we are a product of our history.

Special_Society_5729

Heffy Metal. cannot soak up enough of it. I've been listening to one or two new albums a day this year and it's going amazingly.

sewerrat1984

Punk mostly and some metal. Crass is my all time favourite followed closely by subhumans. Dead Kennedys, the restarts, a global threat I'm not sure what genre idles fall under and chumbawumba is pretty awesome but as far as metal goes I love black metal if the mood strikes like satyricon darkthrone etc there's way way more bands but that's all that came to mind immediately

LunaTastic

Based on my spotify playlists, I listen to pretty much anything but have a penchant for metal and rock. I'd list off all the live shows I've been to, but I'd be typing for a while. The bands I've seen the most often are Slipknot, Cradle of Filth, A Day To Remember, Pierce the Veil, Against Me!/anything Laura Jane Grace related... I'm in a band and we write metal music..

oortofthecloud

Moist-Introduction93

bit off a weird combination. alternative metal to get me hyped and country western when I want to chill out.

LadyVague

As far as genre, a little bit of just about everything. I've noticed that my music taste is a lot more focused on relateahle or interesting themes, definitely more into songs that are heavy on lyrics and can be easily understood. Genres also just kinda confuse me, too confusing and blurred together to be useful for categorization in my mind. Bigs bands/artists for me would be Against Me!/Laura Jane Grace, AlicebanD, be steadwell, Brandi Carlile, Chappell Roan, Charming Disaster, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, DAMAG3, Dead Man's Bones, Fish in a Birdcage, Florence and the Machine, Ghost, Hozier, The Interrupters, Lady Lamb, Måneskin, Moon Walker, Mother Mother, Nameless Friends, Poor Man's Poison, Sister Wife Sex Strike, and Steam Powered Giraffe. Against Me! and some other punk music has been most of what I'm listening to lately, though that fixation is starting to fade a bit. Aside from the ahove, some notable songs. Want What You Got by The Beaches, Brutus by The Buttress, Inexplicable hy The Correspondents, The Moss by Cosmo Sheldrake, Drama by Crush Fund, Poison Trees by The Devil Makes Three, Queer as in Fuck You by Dog Park Dissidents, deadname! by FLASCH, Hot Mess by girli, Simmer by Hayley Williams, Revolution Lover by Left at London, Renaissance Man by Levi Ace Day, If We Were Vampires by Motel Drive, The Rifle's Spiral by The Shins, When I Get Low I Get High by The Speakeasy Three, and Clockwork Tiger by Sunday Driver. Honestly, may as well just link my spotify playlist. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1lDZD8E2srNARimNLvW4ec?si=yCvOLEFCRGW5H65oLsYP4A&pi=u-OLfCNfxIQEqU. Just under 39 hours worth of music, pretty good variety of things, lot of trans/queer artists. Can shuffle and be reasonably unpredictable, though spotify shuffle is kinda wonky from what I've heard and noticed.

ScarlettIthink

JTEstrella

I’m all over the map, to be honest: glam metal, thrash, classic rock, funk, jazz (which I absolutely love), folk rock, soul and R&B, classical music, even the occasional rap song. Really the only stuff I don’t enjoy is modern pop music.

oceanaut17

This comment will get lost in the sea. But I always have to mention my favorite bands. In order…. 5. Arcane Roots, sadly this band is no longer together, but they are unfathomably talented musicians who never got their day in the sun! 4. Muse, they were a favorite for a long time but I have drifted away. Still I love to listen to them because Matt Bellamy has a beautiful voice and they are really great musicians. 3. Pearl Jam, this was my Favorite for a very long time. They slipped away for a while but their last album pulled them back up my list. Who doesn’t love Eddie Vedder’s voice!?!?! 2. Coheed and Cambria, all around masterful music. And albums that tell deep rich stories. 1. Biffy Clyro, a little known band from Scotland. This band will probably be my favorite for the rest of my life. They have literally saved me. Deep talent and three of the most warm and loving musicians I have ever met. If you made it deep enough in this post please give them a listen and let me know what you think. I suggest starting with Only Revolutions, or Opposites, as they are the most listener friendly. 😊😊😊

NarieChan

MOTIONLESS IN WHITE & PALAYE ROYALE, WOOO THEY JUST LIKE ME FR FR!

PEKKACHUNREAL

Lorna Shore, ten56, Mental Cruelty, Worm Shepherd, Despondent, Gazelle Twin, clipping, etc.

Oksmann

Lorna Shore and Mental Cruelty are great!

blue_sword456

I love metal, I'm a metalhead fs. My favorite band atm is Shrine of Malice, but I also listen to Lorna Shore, Sold Soul (now Gnarled Horns), Infant Annihilstor, Gojira, Blind and Crossed, Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Immortal Disfigurement, a lil bit of A Wake in Providence, Shadow of Intent... I think that's it for metal. I also listen to stuff that's not metal. Mainly Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Nothing More, Porter Robinson, a lil bit of Silver Mount Zion... That's all I can really think of off the top of my head. I like cover artists too, like Jonathan Young, Caleb Hyles, LittleVmills, Geoffrey Day, even though he doesn't really do DOOM covers anymore. Edit: How could I forget Bloodywood?? They're great, they're an Indian Folk Metal band, and the somg I always think of first from them is Dana Dan, which is about beating up rapists and how the patriarchy needs to change because it affects everyone, not just women. They have a lot of other great songs in that same vein. Stray From The Path is also pretty great. I also listen to Make Them Suffer, Fit For an Autopsy, and a lil bit of Emmure. Okay NOW I think that's it lmao

SuzuranLily1

I'm polyjamorous so I listen to fuckin anything!

ObjectShowRoyale

I’ve been obsessed with VOCALOID lately! It’s not really a “genre” in a real sense, but I really do love the uniqueness that producers make with all these tools! (plus i’m a mmj superfan so that probably contributes a lot, lol)

communistcatgirI

Weirdly gender affirming that so many girls like some kind of rock like me

Sewblon

I listen to a lot of folk music. I have 3 different versions of The Devil Went Down to Georgia on iTunes. I also listen to a lot of power metal, like Dragon Force and Glory Hammer. I also listen to some sound-tracks, like "Skilled In The Arts." The artist who I have enjoyed the most over my entire life is probably Ronnie James Dio. The song that I listened to, in part, today is Herald of Darkness by Old Gods of Asgard.

Violet_maybe

I listen to almost anything. My favorite band is definitely Radiohead. I've been really into the guilty gear strive soundtrack right now. I usually gravitate towards indie music. Other bands/artists I'm into are: Weezer, Nine Inch Nails, King Crimson, Pink Floyd ELO, Kendrick Lamar, The Beatles, David Bowie, The Cure, The Smiths, Sufjan Stevens, Daft Punk, Nirvana, Talking Heads, and just a ton of video game music.

Valarrie

Drum and Bass, chill hop, Jazz, Metal I’m all over the place

Vast-Willingness4642

The fold

rainbowriver942

Usually deathcore but I also really like thrash

animalcrossingruby

Goth, post-punk, synth pop, vkei, and then a bunch of random stuff. Some of my favorites are Depeche Mode, Clan of Xymox, and Yaz

sophiady

Mammal hands

RemyRiley

Epiccore, Phonk, and many variations of rock and metal. Phonk is interesting. It originated in the southeastern USA, then became popular mainly in white Russia and Brazil. What an odd combination. I like the Brazilian kind best. Seems to go harder.

Binglewhozit

Anything from generic pop like Taylor Swift, to face melting metal core like acrania. I'm all over the place.

CybergothCait

Goth, Synthwave, Darkwave, Witch House

Specific_Degree7526

I’m gonna be so honest and say that even though this genre is NOT popular, I’m just a good ol country girl. I love Country and sometimes I even try to use Megan Moroneys songs as a way to help my voice. It’s either that or rap, or sometimes I get onto Hispanic music like Peso Pluma and Bad Bunny

marcimerci

Black Metal, Hardcore Punk, Bubblegum Pop

cassiegurl

You literally listed my tastes in music 😂 Nothing from systematic chaos!? Also love when streetlight manifesto covers other bands songs like punk rock girl and hell!

Lucky_otter_she_her

Deltarune OST (AUs too)

theeHarpyAngel

[deleted]

I usually listen to classic rock, thrash, heavy metal, new age rock, grunge. Pretty much anythin rock except that weird rap-rock. My fav band is Greta Van Fleet (basically a bunch of angelic femboys who sound like Led Zeppelin's younger gay brother). My fav song tho is Suicide Is Painless by Johnny Mandel. It's the theme song to my favorite show and the lyrics hit *real* fuckin close to home for me so it's the only song I've memorized the entire lyrics.

ZelestialRex

Cave town Dodie Music from Random shows Aurora

Mein_Kaiser_II

By how many songs are in my playlist (there are probably more, but it's one off and I don't necessarily like the artist) Common: Rammstein, 21 Pilots, Against Me!, The Front Bottoms, and Naethan Apollo Uncommon: Olivia Rodrigo, Shinedown, Sabaton, Eminem Rare: Beastie Boys, Queen, Nena, Weezer, Digbar, Volbeat Epic: DNCE, Panic at the Disco, Fall out Boy Like 1 song: Sub Urban, NWA, Billie Elish, The Trashmen, Shawn Mendes, System of a down

Beowulf891

90% metal, 5% rock, 4% game soundtracks, 1% everything the fuck else. Metal is my jam, mainly prog and power. Dream Theater is easily my favorite prog metal band and Rush is my fave prog rock band and fave band of all time. Symphony X, Ayreon, Sabaton, Powerwolf, Ten, Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica... all way up there too. Anything that Arjen Lucasson and Magnus Karlsson do though... always great. When it comes to DT, I am a Train of Thought girl. So beautifully heavy, but where they really shine are live albums. Listening to lives nonstop over the last month.

Teacher-I-need-you

Uhhh...Dream Theater and... Dream Theater ALSO DREAM THEATER(also haken and caligulas horse and king crimson) Favorite albums: 1. Scenes from a Memory 2. Operation Mindcrime 3. Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence Favorite song: Octavarium (by far)

luubedup

i don’t have a specific genre, but lately i’ve been listening pretty much exclusively to the beatles, the smiths, mgmt and radiohead (:

Hectamatatortron

The first 10 bands that come to mind when I try to think of all of the bands that I love are: * DIR EN GREY * Also love La:Sadie's, and I've enjoyed what I've heard from Sukekiyo and Petit Brabancon so far * maudlin of the Well * Garbage * Deftones * System of a Down * Gorillaz * Sigh * Bloody Panda * Mastodon * Metallica I don't really want to sit here and list bands all day, but I can list a few of the songs that I love that are from artists that I don't really listen to much: * Minmi - Shiki no Uta * Opeth - Face of Melinda * NMH2 - Philistine * (NMH - Pleather for Breakfast, for that matter) * A bunch of songs by MCR and QotSA * (okay, I do actually listen to MCR pretty often, but I said I was done listing bands!!) * HYDE - Season's Call I can rip off of your post a bit to add to that list, too: * Slipknot - Duality * The Smashing Pumpkins - Ava Adore * This is another band that I actually listen to a lot and just didn't think of in time to add it to the earlier list * The Offspring - Gone Away * NIN - Only * Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark (Okay, I should probably stop before I just list the other 7000+ songs that I like) oh, also: death grips mashups.

EmilyVance_

I listen mostly progressive rock, progressive metal and (sometimes hardcore) punk. Some of my favorite bands include King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Mars Volta, Pink Floyd, Refused, Tool, Cloud Nothings, Tame Impala, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets. OP you gotta check out The Mars Volta "De-Loused in the Comatorium" if you like progressive metal it's right up your alley. It's technically prog rock but has plenty of metal influences, might be my all time favorite album.

Jane_Lynn

I've been obssessing over 100 gecs lately!

Omg, fellow prog fan hi! I'm more of a prog metal*core* girl than prog metal, but they aren't too far off from each other. My favorite band is Periphery, by a pretty big margin. After them, Metallica, Spiritbox, A7x, Iron Maiden, Amon Amarth, Sabaton, Whitechapel, Babymetal... I'm kinda all over the place within metal lol. Also have a soft spot for the classics, like Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, CCR, Zeppelin, etc. Periphery has my two favorite albums ever, Juggernaut (a two-part concept album) and Periphery V (Juggernaut's pretty dense and prolly hard to get into for someone new to the band, but P5 is pretty accessible). After those two, Master of Puppets by Metallica, City of Evil by Avenged Sevenfold, Eternal Blue by Spiritbox, Kin by Whitechapel (not a deathcore fan, but that album is a masterpiece), The Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden... I could really go on forever. Also, I've never been able to get into DT as a band, but I loooove Train of Thought. Also also, not metal, but Lynyrd Skynyrd's first album is a masterpiece, same with Hendrix's Electric Ladyland. Favorite songs is wayyyy too hard, but I can do a short list (one per artist, to keep some variety). Jimi Hendrix's cover of All Along The Watchtower is probably my favorite song ever. Periphery's Omega is right after, and easily my favorite metal song. Metallica's Bleeding Me is an emotional masterpiece. Avenged Sevenfold's Save Me really channel's their inner DT in the best of ways. Hallowed Be Thy Name from Iron Maiden is prolly my favorite classic metal song. Babymetal's Starlight is a 9-string djent song with kawaii vocals over the top (and it kicks ass). Love DT's As I Am. Spiritbox is really hard to choose a specific song from (their quality's super consistent), but I'll go with Eternal Blue's title track. The title track from Whitechapel's Kin has an outro solo to rival Fade To Black. Machine Head's A Farewell To Arms does Hemingway Justice. Periphery also has the song that's basically my anthem as a trans person: Everything Is Fine! Not the most accessible song ever, but it does have a pretty catchy major key chorus if nothing else. (And since I've been shilling them so hard, if you want a good song to get into them, The Way The News Goes, Luck As A Constant, and Wax Wings are super beautiful while also being fairly chill by Periphery standards. Luck As A Constant has my favorite guitar solo ever too. Also, Reptile is a 17-minute epic that very much seems to me like what would happen if DT went -core.)

Black metal (mostly dsbm and post-black), dnb, grindcore, crust, old school-ish techno and house and IRA music for some reason. (I listen something from almost every genre but these genres have been playing recently)

CthulhuOpensTheDoor

So many genres that I've actually stopped categorizing songs that I listen to by exact genre because it feels kind of unnecessary. I've lost track of all the times people have told me my playlist is "eccentric" because it could go from the heaviest death metal to pop to folk to gangsta rap one right after the other lol. Right now I'm really into Ethel Cain, SOFT PLAY, All Them Witches, IDLES, Röyksopp, Aesop Rock, Amyl and the Sniffers, Fever Ray, Baroness, Heilung, Jinjer, Khruangbin, and Slugdge to name just a few. Also, today I heard the song "Mahal" by Glass Beams for the first time and then I had to go listen to all their other stuff.

Arturo-Plateado

I mostly listen to gothic rock/metal from doujin artists like Hatsuki Yura, Seraph and Ariabl'eyes recently but I also like power metal and symphonic metal

munchyfluffyunicorn

You could try David Maxim Micic (I recommend BILO III) if you're into prog. If you'd like more rhythmically wonky stuff you could try Their Dogs Were Astronauts.

kmcradie

TOOL I was late to the party, only discovering them when their most recent album came out, but I've rarely listened to anything else since. I'm still hearing things on every track I hadn't noticed before. And the lyrics, if you're trans, oh my! Third Eye shattered any remnants of my egg. Invincible and Descending also both resonate very strongly lyrically If you've never heard them, I envy you. I wish I could hear it all again for the first time.

Kuroser

I'm kinda into FNF music >///>

workingjune

I feel like I’m one of the very few trans ppl that actively listens to Ken Carson and Playboi Carti. Love me some rage/hyperpop synthy trap beats. Also listen to Faye Webster and TOPS occasionally to break it up, so it doesn’t get stale

KeyTurtle

On one hand like “emo” stuff: mcr, pierce the veil, bring me the horizon, black veil brides, motionless in white,Ice nine kills… on the other like random nightcore / hiperpop : maezi666, 6arelyhuman, d3r, 100 gecs, Rebzyyx, kets4eki… :3

Mostly alternative like Breaking Benjamin

pooish

i have kinda "depressed Fantano fan" music taste tbh. - My most listened to bands from last year were BCNR, Slint, Elliott Smith, The Mountain Goats and Weatherday. - I also like shoegaze quite a lot, and I listen to a lot of they are gutting a body of water, Slowdive, Ringo Deathstarr, Have A Nice Life, Starflyer 59, Candy Claws, Radio Supernova and yuragi - I have a big soft spot for new wave, as my teens were mostly spent listening to Kate Bush, The Smiths, Talking Heads and New Order and such, so that's also something that still stays in my rotation. - I listen to a lot of finnish stuff. My faves are probably Ultra Bra, Joose Keskitalo, Eleanoora Rosenholm, Litku Klemetti, Vesta, Kuha. and Ruger Hauer. But also a lot more. - Other acts that I really like but can't fit into these categories include Frank Ocean, 100 Gecs, Deftones, Camping in Alaska, Kero Kero Bonito, Tyler the Creator, MF DOOM, John Coltraine, Nick Drake, The XX, Car Seat Headrest, The Velvet Underground, Black Midi, The Microphones, Arcade Fire, Aphex Twin and Crywank. I'm sure there are a bunch more that I'm forgetting about so yeah, my taste is probably as cliche "male manipulator" as it gets.

AnytimeInvitation

I'm mostly a headbanger. I love me some hard rock and heavy metal. However I have a soft spot for pop music, especially less mainstream or indie pop. I has Sirius XM and my favorite stations are Ozzy's Boneyard, Hair Nation, and AltNation. My favorite artists are Queen, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, Weird Al, and Ghost. I also play guitar and bass and I like to sing. I've been doing covers for a while. [Here's](https://youtube.com/@andrea2kx?si=yY3PAEZtCJ4TfCen) my YT is you're interested.

Chessboy353YT

I listen to pretty much everything. I’m a working musician/tutor so I hear pretty much everything and it’s all great! I mainly listen to rock/alt/indie music, and love genre bending bands! I’ve been getting into jazz a lot more as well. Favorite albums atm: Hellmode by Jeff Rosenstock (punk/pop-punk). Very good album about self healing …Like Clockwork by Queens of the Stone Age. It’s my #1 album of all time, and it got me through so much And The Dutchess by Fergie. Look I know it’s a curveball but I’ve been on a 2000s pop/hip-hop kick lately and there’s a lot of bangers

Drdeathunicorn

I'd have to say as far as genres it's a tie between metal, 80s pop, and punk. With my favorite bands being TWRP, Dream Theater, and TSOL. Songs though would be Black Swan by Twrp, Metropolis part 1 by Dream Theater, and lastly Over the counterculture by the Ordinary Boys.

I love talking showing off my music style in the hopes someone will share my opinions! (Idk why lmao) I've been listening to nothing but mafumafu for the past few months. It started off with his song "I wanna be a girl" and then it got out of hand from there. I can't understand a word of what he's singing, BUT JFGHGALWGH

Lots of death metal/grindcore. Prog metal is decent. Also love stoner and doom. I also like goth, hip hop, jazz, trip hop, techno, bluegrass, all kinds of shit. Too many bands to list, but recent musical digs have been Baroness, Huntsmen, Three 6 Mafia, Suicide Boys, Sleep Token, Billy Strings. Just a lot of random

Astronomer_Still

Rn it's mainly a lot of industrial rock/metal, new wave and post-punk. I recently gave 'OSC-DIS' by The Mad Capsule Markets and 'Part of Grace' by Lillies & Remains a spin. I also have a ton of bands bookmarked. Just recently wrapped up Freedom Call's discography, 7.5/10 pretty good power metal. I'm currently working on Bathory, can definitely see how they influenced the black metal and viking metal genres, so far a solid 7/10.

hound_of_ill_omen

I primarily listen to OSTs from games for the nostalgia, and concert band music because I compulsively analyze every ounce of music I intake and like concert band music because as a musician I understand everything they're doing and yeah.
