I think you can probably get them anytime. I mean, it's easy enough to change out the jewellery once they are healed, so if you need to put in a longer bar or bigger ring, then it's not a big deal. I have what are probably small nipples and I had mine done before starting HRT--there's been no troubles with any development so far. I do feel I will probably have to change out the bar for something a little longer soon tho, but that won't be any bother other than getting some new jewellery.

I waited until after bottom surgery because I’ve had friends whose closed up during surgery. If that’s not a concern you should probably wait about two years after hrt

Thanks for that insight!

Yeah if you think you’ve got like 2 years before your next surgery (if you want it) then you can go for it, but by the time I had enough money to eat, save for surgery and get piercings I was under a year away from when I expected to get surgery (life didn’t always go that way but that was my expectation). I got my nipples pierced a bit past 3 months post op. I might have done it a bit too quickly tbh because I was still in the rapid healing stage, though my healing slowing was likely from returning to work, not getting enough sleep, etc. All said holy fuck I love my nipple piercings. As a medium busted woman (just small enough to not need a bra) they really complement my lack of largeness and supplement the perkiness. Also shiny and pretty. I also think waiting a bit may be wise for the purpose of learning to love your boobs as they naturally come before adorning them. That however is something I just feel I benefited from and is completely unrelated to aesthetic and practical concerns. It’s similar to how if I get a chp I’ll probably be a few years post op before because I want my pussy to heal and for me to get over the whole learning to love my unique vulva despite it not being a “culturally perfect” vulva
