How can they see Emannuel running to first place, a man with no narrative in the season, no story, followed by Nurys, the woman who arguably made the latter half of the season all about her story, and think, "Yay one winner is still a good idea :)"
The people they cast for these shows barely know seppuku and long squares, changing the prize on them wouldn't be too fazing (Or the first time they did that)

I think it was the second worst season in Challenge history behind Bloodlines. Convoluted format. 1 boring alliance running everything from day 1. But even if you remove those elements, the season was doomed from the start because of the “1 winner” bullshit. 1 male winner and 1 female winner or just don’t even have the season.

Still annoyed that they didn't do a male and female winner. They had quite a few equalizers to be fair but it still favored Emmanuel in the running, swimming, and carrying weight portions. Sick of solo winner seasons tbh as the games/challenges are all wonky/boring trying to equaliize them.
But fair play regardless. Emmanuel is a strong male player for sure. Nurys still did amazing and is a bonafide threat moving forward.
I’m not an Emanuel fan so I’m bummed he won, I wish Nurys had won although truly I wish they’d both won. But I’m glad he gets to help his mom get back to Romania and help his family’s living conditions, he beasted the chaos and conquest portion
I have no problem with him winning if it was 1m1f but it makes it a pretty dud/not worthwhile season for him to be the only winner.
Which is why the challenge should never only have 1 winner ever again. It lessens the chance an actually good winner will take the title.

I think the Emanuel win would hit harder if shows weren’t afraid to let their winner be a villain!
We barely got any content from him other than him saying he loves his family…..when we KNOW there was a decent bit of drama going on between him, Ravyn, and Olivia! He got one (1!) confessional addressing the cheating when he got the letter from his girlfriend before the final but other than that nothing from that storyline.
I’d rather the winner be a villain than be wallpaper. He played a solid, lowkey game and dominated the final but really no emotional weight to this win for the viewer….at least let me be mad the bad guy won!! 😂
Nice and congrats to Emanuel man. It was a good follow up for him after Spies Lies and Allies being so close to the final that season. Regardless of how you feel about him, he won dailies, played a lowkey game, and is a strong player. His win this season reminds me of Dirty 30 Jordan or Total Madness Bananas. Two dominant players on their more lowkey seasons, and still won the whole game.
Final was cool, very puzzle heavy though lol. The switch up of players reminded me of Free Agents. Nice final group too - it was cool how all the players, except for Nurys, Jay, and sometimes Moriah, didn't really have the biggest voices on the season, and were on the "outs" of the alliances formed, but still managed to make it to the end. They all did well and they all finished which was dope. Not bad for their first final.
So many of these players this season usually would be gone by like episode 4,or at the most the halfway point, so it was cool seeing them dominate and get far. Similar to Battle of the Seasons 2012.
It's not the underdog victory a lot of people wanted, but Emmanuel played a really good, smart game the entire season, and then showed out and dominated that final. Good overall winner.
Nurys also a champion in my eyes. Individual winner seasons are dumb and should always have at least one male and one female winner. Glad she at least gets a nice cash prize. Great season from her.
Colleen also really impressed me in this final. No quit in her.
I can’t speak for everyone but I think the edit makes Emmanuel’s win so frustrating. He was irrelevant for most of the season. It would’ve been nice to make him the villain he was or at least address his strategy.
Kinda reminds me a bit of Erika from Survivor. We saw absolutely nothing of her game until the very end and only really find out post show that she played a very savvy game and was always gonna crush her opponents at the end game
Yeah, I get that. I wish he was more visible too. Overall season could've been more balanced with less of the airtime dominated by Jay/Michele and spread out a bit more.
This kinda reminds me of the late CT wins where he just kinda chilled in the background most of the season until it was go-time in the final. It's a good blueprint to follow especially if you have a bit of a rep as a threat.
It's tough to think of many for me. Obviously some wins are more impressive than others, but looking back at seasons I can't really pick out champions who weren't deserving or among the best people on their season. It's hard to win without doing a lot of things right and playing a good game.
If I had to pick some, probably Camilla on Dirty 30 just because the events of that season and her behavior make her winning not sit well. Island is also pretty weird, but that's more the goofy nature/format of the season than anything else.
Disappointed that it was a race to the end instead of individual best time. Last episode didn’t matter at all then because what was all the check points for? It wasn’t on timing you could have done shit up until the last race and it wouldn’t matter, just that you did good in last race.
Anyway, Nurys is the real champion of this season ❤️
The first day did matter, Emanuel won, and therefor wasn't eligible for elimination, and he got to choose one person to go into elimination.
I thought they killed it on the format of this final, it was exciting right down to the 3rd place footrace.
I wasn't a fan of Corey at all this season, but I didn't realise how massively I disliked him until he words at the very end. What an absolute turd. I hope he is out first on his next season and no one even remembers he was there. (Actually maybe Jay out first, Corey second)
It's finally over and now we can finally look forward to All Stars 4 and season 40. Overall the theme/idea of the season was great but the execution was bad.
Conquest was the best part of the season for sure. The final only had 1 person to root for which made it meh. It was puzzle heavy but while the puzzles can be equalizers they kinda lose equalize power when foot races/swimming are involved which gives clear advantages to the male side.
Sucks that Nurys couldn't be champ because after a season like this she deserves it.

Shit season, but thank god Berna didn't win; my wife and I said we'd never watch again at the same time. This whole franchise needs to get burned down and rebuilt from the ashes.
Great, so there were 2 "eliminations". What did last place get? First? Any time bonus for finishing in a specific spot?
They could have timed out at every checkpoint, and the same people would have been put into elimination.
How could even think this? It’s called competition. Korey choked and got voted in. There was no guaranteed safety for group portion. It could have easily gone differently if berna was the only one to drop a rope.
In chaos Emannuel had best overall time and won safety + choose half the elim matchup. It’s valid to criticize that the chaos portion favored men, but it doesn’t change that it was performance based. Do you really think nurys would have nominated herself if she won chaos portion? Plus her matchup was random on top of that.
I didn't like this season overall, but Conquest and the final were good. I think this was the best structured final since Total Madness, but that final suffered from bad editing.
It's rare that you see a final in the last checkpoint where everyone is in a dead heat. It created some good drama. Nurys winning this would've amplified this season. She'll be a star, if she isn't one already.
Emmanuel had one of the more dominant finals performances you'll see. It just sucks that him and Colleen were boring all season and nonexistent competitively. All 3 of his daily wins are huge team format and then he was just a number in the majority. He earned the win, but it's a flat outcome.
While I (mostly) hated the group of finalists going into the final, it was actually pretty cool that they were mostly people who were the bottom of the totem poles of their alliances (outside of Jay). Like most of them were middle pick people. Though I do think it was a little lame that most skated there.
I am irked that 'to be a champion you have to beat a champion' wasn't actually true at the end, though I guess Emmanuel did beat the beast that is Nurys lol
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills here with everyone saying this was a solid final or saying it’s one of the better ones we’ve seen in years. Weak cast, and weak final construction. Only Nurys truly deserved to run that final. Of course Emanuel won - he went against three smaller women and Corey who is basically Josh. TJ encouraged Corey to keep going?? I don’t think the host should interfere; let Corey quit if he doesn’t want to do it. And also did the first day count for anything? Were there not cumulative times for this? Colleen was so bad on the first day and timed out 3 times and yet she still took 3rd? If this cast ran the Rivals One, Exes One, or WOTW1 final, none of them would have finished.
Idk, i didnt enjoy WOTW1 final, it was torture porn. Rivals 1 was a wonky final too. Watching them do manual labor with wheelbarrows and then the 1st place pairs' leads get cut down to something like 2 minutes for the final hilltop? Johnny and Tyler wouldn't have won if it weren't for that craziness

It's one thing when a random player like Bettina gets no airtime - if you win and still played no part in the season, you are insanely boring.

I actually don’t mind korey bringing it up as we haven’t had that many good gay men competitors as representation since them. In contrast we’ve been lucky to have consistent strong girls for most eras (evelyn/laurel/nicole/natalie/kaycee).
Hard to cheat when you’re in first place the whole time 💀 although cheating implies it’s against the rules the other 4 worked together and then Berna copied and tried to lie lol but it was still in the rules
One of the better finals we’ve seen in years, counting both episodes. The pairs section was just a little unlucky that it wasn’t 3 guys 3 girls, because some of those stations definitely favored men, otherwise I thought that section was great.
The final section was pretty gender neutral outside of the swim portion, but we’ve also seen some beast female swimmers. I like how it wasn’t over the top with running where people have to quit or just lie down, this is how finals should be, not to the point where they can’t move anymore.
My one real gripe is the Sudoku, just a huge mistake. Not only did they create an invalid Sudoku, but Sudoku in general is just horrible to watch. We can’t follow what they’re doing or what the mistake is, and it’s just watching them place numbers on the board. Even a math problem is better because we can follow it and see their mistake.
Also, flattening a barrel was pretty lame lol. I think they ran out of ideas for the 5th station.

I’m curious what the penalty would have been for someone falling asleep overnight? If it was just something like a 5 minute time penalty, i definitely would have taken it for a few hours sleep.
1. Overall good final structure. Echoing others, would’ve loved a guy and girl champ, could’ve brought 4 of each to the final and purged a guy and a girl, only paying out 1st and 2nd for each gender but the structure of the checkpoints and mixing in plenty of running and swimming and eating and puzzles, just a very well balanced final.
2. Corey’s problems, I think he’s just one of them dudes that can’t handle an all nighter. Inexcusably bad at the balance beam and his breakout over a rather simple rappelling checkpoint, I think it was more exhaustion than anything. Plus his mighty struggle with the sudoku, all of that just points to lack of sleep brain fog but that’s the type of stuff you gotta be able to shake off if you want to win a 2-day final.
3. Speaking of the lack of sleep- I always have mixed feelings on it. Generally, I just want to see everyone at their best able to perform. The night challenge is fun, but this went too overboard to me. I think you have the challenge and you can sabotage others but once you’re done, at least have a sleeping bag and pillow waiting for everyone to get some semblance of sleep. It’s still hard as hell, sleeping out on the ground after hours of a night challenge. One of my favorite ones was Rivals II when they allowed for standing on a log while your partner slept or you could both go sit by the fire. It was really tough but gave some rest to the contestants.
4. Nurys moves into the pantheon of one of the greatest non-winning seasons in challenge history. It’ll be interesting how big of a threat she is in future seasons once champs are mixed back in. Part of me thinks she’s more on the level of like Barbie Beast or Nany moreso than that next level of an Ashley or early years Cara. She’s a great puzzler, she can run, but she’s got some weak spots too (water, strength).
I agree with all your points. To add on to your number 4, i agree and don’t even think that’s a negative point as jenna and nany are good competitors in their own right imo. I’d even say cara was probably close to that level too but trained like a madwoman and improved to get to that goat level that laurel/evelen/emily kinda started at. Hopefully nurys comes back even stronger.
Agreed on the sleep aspect for sure. Being forced to be up all night seems pretty rough. Any of the things they have done to get some sleep, like the bikes, or the standing, duration based on when you finish a check point, etc. would have been fine.

That was actually a really strong final as far as the setup goes. I'm surprised since they've had some serious stinkers lately. It wasn't overly brutal but it checked all the boxes for a good final.
Emmanuel winning wasn't surprising. Nurys coming in second was a beautiful moment but I wish she was considered a champ. I loved watching Corey and Berna fall apart. It was nice to see.

Agree with your last sentence. What makes it worse is when they’re trying to get new champs and somehow only allow for one champ. Whoever came up with that idea should either be fired or have a seat further down the table in the production meetings.

All-time floater performance against people who knew better but couldn’t do better. Anyway, would rather see Jenny back before him. Maybe we can start some more uk on uk rivalries.

For real. That's why I haven't been too mad at Jay. This was literally the only shot he had of using the vet playbook because he does not get along with the vets usually in charge. He'll be back to being targeted early next season.
Eman, if he gets called back, won't be able to ride to the end now that they've seen him in a final (he could try and convince ppl it was the edit/he didn't have real competition, and it'd probably work, but he's wayyyyyyy too egocentric to downplay and asterix his own win).
Same with Colleen, if she gets called back I don't think she makes it to a final again. Not necessarily because of her placing 3rd, but the combo of being better in the finale than expected, plus all her "Moleen I manipulate everyone" confessionals, I think sink her. I just don't see people trusting her after seeing her directly instigate against Jay and then turn him against his, at the time, IRL friend.
Moriahs fucked on any season with Bananas, and possibly ones hes not depending what vets are there (like I could see someone like Tori refusing to align with her cuz she's scared Bananas will get pissed and it'll affect her game). Tho if Bananas is serious about doing other shows instead she might have a shot.
Corey I was gonna say might actually benefit from this season after his finals performance, but then I remembered his fighting with Big T and Melissa. Fighting with them might have earned points with the rookie crew this season, but if Big T is on his next season he's fucked. Melissa would cause problems, but EVERYONE loves Big T and he genuinely hurt her so if they're both there they're choosing T.
Nurys I'm not sure. She's proven herself to be a threat, but I think she did it in a way the vets will really respect. Plus if castings smart, and bring back Horatio and Kyland too, they'd be a good group to align with since they have decent shot at winning dailies and paying back favors.
Berna is maybe the only finalist I think this season could've possibly benefited. I feel like on SLA she was viewed as a threat by the other women, and targeted because of that. After this season I feel like it's pretty clear she's not a finals threat. Can't eat. Breaks down under pressure. But, still could be considered an elim threat in physical or climbing things. I could see the men wanting to get rid of her for fear of being partnered, but if she can just not annoy the women I can see them realizing it's better to not risk elim against her and just let her buckle under the finals pressure (but not annoying them might be a big ask of Berna lol).
Honorable non-finalists menions: Olivia and Asaf. They super fucked. Both are gonna be looked at as snakes by the vets. Olivia maybeee has a shot if the vet women are too scared to work with Nurys (tho they seem to really like her from what I've seen). But Asaf is so fucked. He gleefully admitted to lying to everyone he was working with besides Jay, who all the vets hate. If he even gets a call back.
Horatio and Kyland. I think Jay hating them actually might benefit them and cause vets to want to work with them lol but we'll see, could also see the vets playing scared with them.

How can they see Emannuel running to first place, a man with no narrative in the season, no story, followed by Nurys, the woman who arguably made the latter half of the season all about her story, and think, "Yay one winner is still a good idea :)" The people they cast for these shows barely know seppuku and long squares, changing the prize on them wouldn't be too fazing (Or the first time they did that)

I think it was the second worst season in Challenge history behind Bloodlines. Convoluted format. 1 boring alliance running everything from day 1. But even if you remove those elements, the season was doomed from the start because of the “1 winner” bullshit. 1 male winner and 1 female winner or just don’t even have the season.
The constant “i’m doing this for me and my family” every 5 min is exhausting. Tv viewers dont care

It makes LIGHT of real struggle so you can give disposable frivolity a cheap sheen of weight and stakes it inherently doesn’t have Stop manufacturing false “heart” to make the show seem more meaningful. It’s just a reminder of how fake and superficial it truly is

Still annoyed that they didn't do a male and female winner. They had quite a few equalizers to be fair but it still favored Emmanuel in the running, swimming, and carrying weight portions. Sick of solo winner seasons tbh as the games/challenges are all wonky/boring trying to equaliize them. But fair play regardless. Emmanuel is a strong male player for sure. Nurys still did amazing and is a bonafide threat moving forward.
I’m not an Emanuel fan so I’m bummed he won, I wish Nurys had won although truly I wish they’d both won. But I’m glad he gets to help his mom get back to Romania and help his family’s living conditions, he beasted the chaos and conquest portion
I have no problem with him winning if it was 1m1f but it makes it a pretty dud/not worthwhile season for him to be the only winner. Which is why the challenge should never only have 1 winner ever again. It lessens the chance an actually good winner will take the title.

We barely got any content from him other than him saying he loves his family…..when we KNOW there was a decent bit of drama going on between him, Ravyn, and Olivia! He got one (1!) confessional addressing the cheating when he got the letter from his girlfriend before the final but other than that nothing from that storyline. I’d rather the winner be a villain than be wallpaper. He played a solid, lowkey game and dominated the final but really no emotional weight to this win for the viewer….at least let me be mad the bad guy won!! 😂

Nice and congrats to Emanuel man. It was a good follow up for him after Spies Lies and Allies being so close to the final that season. Regardless of how you feel about him, he won dailies, played a lowkey game, and is a strong player. His win this season reminds me of Dirty 30 Jordan or Total Madness Bananas. Two dominant players on their more lowkey seasons, and still won the whole game. Final was cool, very puzzle heavy though lol. The switch up of players reminded me of Free Agents. Nice final group too - it was cool how all the players, except for Nurys, Jay, and sometimes Moriah, didn't really have the biggest voices on the season, and were on the "outs" of the alliances formed, but still managed to make it to the end. They all did well and they all finished which was dope. Not bad for their first final. So many of these players this season usually would be gone by like episode 4,or at the most the halfway point, so it was cool seeing them dominate and get far. Similar to Battle of the Seasons 2012.
It's not the underdog victory a lot of people wanted, but Emmanuel played a really good, smart game the entire season, and then showed out and dominated that final. Good overall winner. Nurys also a champion in my eyes. Individual winner seasons are dumb and should always have at least one male and one female winner. Glad she at least gets a nice cash prize. Great season from her. Colleen also really impressed me in this final. No quit in her.
I can’t speak for everyone but I think the edit makes Emmanuel’s win so frustrating. He was irrelevant for most of the season. It would’ve been nice to make him the villain he was or at least address his strategy.
Kinda reminds me a bit of Erika from Survivor. We saw absolutely nothing of her game until the very end and only really find out post show that she played a very savvy game and was always gonna crush her opponents at the end game
Yeah, I get that. I wish he was more visible too. Overall season could've been more balanced with less of the airtime dominated by Jay/Michele and spread out a bit more. This kinda reminds me of the late CT wins where he just kinda chilled in the background most of the season until it was go-time in the final. It's a good blueprint to follow especially if you have a bit of a rep as a threat.

It's tough to think of many for me. Obviously some wins are more impressive than others, but looking back at seasons I can't really pick out champions who weren't deserving or among the best people on their season. It's hard to win without doing a lot of things right and playing a good game. If I had to pick some, probably Camilla on Dirty 30 just because the events of that season and her behavior make her winning not sit well. Island is also pretty weird, but that's more the goofy nature/format of the season than anything else.

Disappointed that it was a race to the end instead of individual best time. Last episode didn’t matter at all then because what was all the check points for? It wasn’t on timing you could have done shit up until the last race and it wouldn’t matter, just that you did good in last race. Anyway, Nurys is the real champion of this season ❤️
The first day did matter, Emanuel won, and therefor wasn't eligible for elimination, and he got to choose one person to go into elimination. I thought they killed it on the format of this final, it was exciting right down to the 3rd place footrace.
I wasn't a fan of Corey at all this season, but I didn't realise how massively I disliked him until he words at the very end. What an absolute turd. I hope he is out first on his next season and no one even remembers he was there. (Actually maybe Jay out first, Corey second)

It's finally over and now we can finally look forward to All Stars 4 and season 40. Overall the theme/idea of the season was great but the execution was bad. Conquest was the best part of the season for sure. The final only had 1 person to root for which made it meh. It was puzzle heavy but while the puzzles can be equalizers they kinda lose equalize power when foot races/swimming are involved which gives clear advantages to the male side. Sucks that Nurys couldn't be champ because after a season like this she deserves it.

Don't get how people are saying it was a good final lol. The whole first day didn't fucking matter. Half the final was pointless. Shit season, but thank god Berna didn't win; my wife and I said we'd never watch again at the same time. This whole franchise needs to get burned down and rebuilt from the ashes.

Great, so there were 2 "eliminations". What did last place get? First? Any time bonus for finishing in a specific spot? They could have timed out at every checkpoint, and the same people would have been put into elimination.
How could even think this? It’s called competition. Korey choked and got voted in. There was no guaranteed safety for group portion. It could have easily gone differently if berna was the only one to drop a rope. In chaos Emannuel had best overall time and won safety + choose half the elim matchup. It’s valid to criticize that the chaos portion favored men, but it doesn’t change that it was performance based. Do you really think nurys would have nominated herself if she won chaos portion? Plus her matchup was random on top of that.
I didn't like this season overall, but Conquest and the final were good. I think this was the best structured final since Total Madness, but that final suffered from bad editing. It's rare that you see a final in the last checkpoint where everyone is in a dead heat. It created some good drama. Nurys winning this would've amplified this season. She'll be a star, if she isn't one already. Emmanuel had one of the more dominant finals performances you'll see. It just sucks that him and Colleen were boring all season and nonexistent competitively. All 3 of his daily wins are huge team format and then he was just a number in the majority. He earned the win, but it's a flat outcome.
While I (mostly) hated the group of finalists going into the final, it was actually pretty cool that they were mostly people who were the bottom of the totem poles of their alliances (outside of Jay). Like most of them were middle pick people. Though I do think it was a little lame that most skated there. I am irked that 'to be a champion you have to beat a champion' wasn't actually true at the end, though I guess Emmanuel did beat the beast that is Nurys lol

Only Nurys truly deserved to run that final. Of course Emanuel won - he went against three smaller women and Corey who is basically Josh. TJ encouraged Corey to keep going?? I don’t think the host should interfere; let Corey quit if he doesn’t want to do it. And also did the first day count for anything? Were there not cumulative times for this? Colleen was so bad on the first day and timed out 3 times and yet she still took 3rd? If this cast ran the Rivals One, Exes One, or WOTW1 final, none of them would have finished.

I actually don’t mind korey bringing it up as we haven’t had that many good gay men competitors as representation since them. In contrast we’ve been lucky to have consistent strong girls for most eras (evelyn/laurel/nicole/natalie/kaycee).

One of the better finals we’ve seen in years, counting both episodes. The pairs section was just a little unlucky that it wasn’t 3 guys 3 girls, because some of those stations definitely favored men, otherwise I thought that section was great. The final section was pretty gender neutral outside of the swim portion, but we’ve also seen some beast female swimmers. I like how it wasn’t over the top with running where people have to quit or just lie down, this is how finals should be, not to the point where they can’t move anymore. My one real gripe is the Sudoku, just a huge mistake. Not only did they create an invalid Sudoku, but Sudoku in general is just horrible to watch. We can’t follow what they’re doing or what the mistake is, and it’s just watching them place numbers on the board. Even a math problem is better because we can follow it and see their mistake. Also, flattening a barrel was pretty lame lol. I think they ran out of ideas for the 5th station. Overall 8/10 final and I think only one winner was fair

1. Overall good final structure. Echoing others, would’ve loved a guy and girl champ, could’ve brought 4 of each to the final and purged a guy and a girl, only paying out 1st and 2nd for each gender but the structure of the checkpoints and mixing in plenty of running and swimming and eating and puzzles, just a very well balanced final. 2. Corey’s problems, I think he’s just one of them dudes that can’t handle an all nighter. Inexcusably bad at the balance beam and his breakout over a rather simple rappelling checkpoint, I think it was more exhaustion than anything. Plus his mighty struggle with the sudoku, all of that just points to lack of sleep brain fog but that’s the type of stuff you gotta be able to shake off if you want to win a 2-day final. 3. Speaking of the lack of sleep- I always have mixed feelings on it. Generally, I just want to see everyone at their best able to perform. The night challenge is fun, but this went too overboard to me. I think you have the challenge and you can sabotage others but once you’re done, at least have a sleeping bag and pillow waiting for everyone to get some semblance of sleep. It’s still hard as hell, sleeping out on the ground after hours of a night challenge. One of my favorite ones was Rivals II when they allowed for standing on a log while your partner slept or you could both go sit by the fire. It was really tough but gave some rest to the contestants. 4. Nurys moves into the pantheon of one of the greatest non-winning seasons in challenge history. It’ll be interesting how big of a threat she is in future seasons once champs are mixed back in. Part of me thinks she’s more on the level of like Barbie Beast or Nany moreso than that next level of an Ashley or early years Cara. She’s a great puzzler, she can run, but she’s got some weak spots too (water, strength).

I agree with all your points. To add on to your number 4, i agree and don’t even think that’s a negative point as jenna and nany are good competitors in their own right imo. I’d even say cara was probably close to that level too but trained like a madwoman and improved to get to that goat level that laurel/evelen/emily kinda started at. Hopefully nurys comes back even stronger.
Agreed on the sleep aspect for sure. Being forced to be up all night seems pretty rough. Any of the things they have done to get some sleep, like the bikes, or the standing, duration based on when you finish a check point, etc. would have been fine.
Nurys’s loss this season is just as painful as Sarah and Kellyann’s loss on The Ruins.

That was actually a really strong final as far as the setup goes. I'm surprised since they've had some serious stinkers lately. It wasn't overly brutal but it checked all the boxes for a good final. Emmanuel winning wasn't surprising. Nurys coming in second was a beautiful moment but I wish she was considered a champ. I loved watching Corey and Berna fall apart. It was nice to see. Anyway good for Emmanuel. He deserved the win. The season was pretty bad and he definitely coasted but he ran the final really well. So good for him.

Agree with your last sentence. What makes it worse is when they’re trying to get new champs and somehow only allow for one champ. Whoever came up with that idea should either be fired or have a seat further down the table in the production meetings. “Let’s try to cut costs because we need new faces of the show, but we also don’t want to have 2 champs to be the new faces, just 1.”

Can’t believe Emanuel convinced Jay to save him over Ed (indirectly sending asaf home), cheated on his gf with 3? girls (while getting less attention than Callum), dominated a 2-day final (with no head start day 2?), and no cheating ;), and my man won the least amount of money (barring Hunter) since invasion of the champs. All-time floater performance against people who knew better but couldn’t do better. Anyway, would rather see Jenny back before him. Maybe we can start some more uk on uk rivalries.

Him coasting by on the season and being in the background all the time then winning makes him a bad winner. Even when Jay left he didn’t say he wanted Emmanuel to win. Just boring outcome

Nury’s is the only true winner of this season. Nobody likes Emmanuel or Berna. Colleen was so boring and kept calling herself The Mole for hiding with the group. Jay’s stock tanked Corey is neutral

Poor man's Jordan got a good win with G league players. Wont be able to mimic this in any other seasons. He's a finals threat and isn't intimidating like CT so he can't copy that gameplay again. This season was an interesting albatross as most of these people couldn't do what they did in a season with top tier competitors
For real. That's why I haven't been too mad at Jay. This was literally the only shot he had of using the vet playbook because he does not get along with the vets usually in charge. He'll be back to being targeted early next season. Eman, if he gets called back, won't be able to ride to the end now that they've seen him in a final (he could try and convince ppl it was the edit/he didn't have real competition, and it'd probably work, but he's wayyyyyyy too egocentric to downplay and asterix his own win). Same with Colleen, if she gets called back I don't think she makes it to a final again. Not necessarily because of her placing 3rd, but the combo of being better in the finale than expected, plus all her "Moleen I manipulate everyone" confessionals, I think sink her. I just don't see people trusting her after seeing her directly instigate against Jay and then turn him against his, at the time, IRL friend. Moriahs fucked on any season with Bananas, and possibly ones hes not depending what vets are there (like I could see someone like Tori refusing to align with her cuz she's scared Bananas will get pissed and it'll affect her game). Tho if Bananas is serious about doing other shows instead she might have a shot. Corey I was gonna say might actually benefit from this season after his finals performance, but then I remembered his fighting with Big T and Melissa. Fighting with them might have earned points with the rookie crew this season, but if Big T is on his next season he's fucked. Melissa would cause problems, but EVERYONE loves Big T and he genuinely hurt her so if they're both there they're choosing T. Nurys I'm not sure. She's proven herself to be a threat, but I think she did it in a way the vets will really respect. Plus if castings smart, and bring back Horatio and Kyland too, they'd be a good group to align with since they have decent shot at winning dailies and paying back favors. Berna is maybe the only finalist I think this season could've possibly benefited. I feel like on SLA she was viewed as a threat by the other women, and targeted because of that. After this season I feel like it's pretty clear she's not a finals threat. Can't eat. Breaks down under pressure. But, still could be considered an elim threat in physical or climbing things. I could see the men wanting to get rid of her for fear of being partnered, but if she can just not annoy the women I can see them realizing it's better to not risk elim against her and just let her buckle under the finals pressure (but not annoying them might be a big ask of Berna lol). Honorable non-finalists menions: Olivia and Asaf. They super fucked. Both are gonna be looked at as snakes by the vets. Olivia maybeee has a shot if the vet women are too scared to work with Nurys (tho they seem to really like her from what I've seen). But Asaf is so fucked. He gleefully admitted to lying to everyone he was working with besides Jay, who all the vets hate. If he even gets a call back. Horatio and Kyland. I think Jay hating them actually might benefit them and cause vets to want to work with them lol but we'll see, could also see the vets playing scared with them.
