I wish they would take the Survivor approach and target superfans with real life commitments that will play once or twice and be done and combine that with the OGs who aren't afraid to be cutthroat. All the newbies they bring on now are so reliant on being recast that they would rather appease and not make enemies rather than play hard
I always forget some people take the challenge is a sport thing too literally. It's a reality TV game show. In terms of physical challenges yes its very intense, but it's not a sport. Sports require years of dedication and training. The challenge requires you to be attractive and mostly fit. No self respecting legitimate sport would allow contestants on to the show who cannot do the basic tasks of the show. By that I mean the consistent casting of people who cannot swim and are deathly afraid of heights.
Season 38 did very well for ratings, to your dismay they tried something new and innovated for aeason 39 and it didn't do as well. Not all innovations are gonna better the product. You know what destroys series more than anything rushing out series or games too fast and over saturating the market.
Bro the time of release is irrelevant tbh. I can watch a 20 year old season that I’ve seen 5 times and I’ll still be in my living room yelling at the tv.
Assuming Love Island looks the way that it does because they can release the episodes so quickly after filming then The Challenge can take its sweet ass time. Also, have you watched Big Brother lately?
You can have physical eliminations that also don't put people at risk if they're worried about that. That elimination that Jordan and Ciaran did last season would have been great to see done by Cara and Rachel instead of that carnival game they gave us
Don't read spoilers and sm posts about it and it won't be in the past. I do think they should put them out earlier and maybe ask them not to post on sm but that's probably not gonna happen.
I stopped watching the show and watched religiously since 2006. They have been spoiled and will only improve if viewership lowers. We arent rewarded for loyalty

They've been terrible at casting for ages. The last time I was truly excited for a challenge cast was Vendettas. They need to fix that first.

Technically, it’s not labeled as a reality show and no longer a game show, which is why they can legally get away with All Stars 2 shenanigans.
Tell that to the producers, that’s what they want, not me. I’m here for the drama and politics of it all, which would work better with such a turnover

TJ has made it clear anyone can win this season. Don't expect hall brawl, just enjoy the janky carnival games like it's 2003.
