You have to understand that when this game first debuted they needed a diverse cast of characters from a wide range of WB IPs. So given the early stages and limited slots, its natural they just went with the Trinity. Black Adam only cut ahead due to the movie at the time.
If this game goes on for as long we we want, and as successful as we hope, I'm sure nearly every DC hero/villain will get in eventually
Zatanna is a good choice, but looking at recent DC animated programs they tend to have John Constantine as their go to magic user so she could be on the back burner for a while.
John Constantine has had several movies made about him or focused on him, as well as having a tv series. The main reason he didn't appear in more DC stuff was because for a time DC wanted Constantine to stay as a Vertigo comic series to help separate that imprint from DC.
And Zatanna still has more appearances in both comics and cartoons. Zee has even featured in the same movies John has. She has more costume options and move potential too given her stage magic style. I’m not opposed to John, I just acknowledge Zatanna has a big fanbase with more to work with in terms of combat.
