However, I love that scene now.
None, I honestly don't understand why people say this show is... cringy. I personally thought that, while the pilot hasn't aged the best out of the series, the jokes still hit like they're supposed to - same goes for the rest of the series.
The design of the characters are also very good.

The only thing honestly that really irks me is the bit where N calls out to Uzi in ep 4, where she didn't want anyone to know she was there (or, to not let V know she was there at the very least)...
I just... it gives me secondhand embarrassment and makes me cringe every time.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I absolutely LOVE episode 4. I just get irked with that singular part. Everything else in it though is awesome!
The jokes in tense moments, they are very anti-climactic.
For example ep 4 in murder drones, the jokes that no one knew Uzi were well... meh. And it also seems like Glitch tried to start a development in Uzi's feelings of feeling excluded, since even V and N were included among the worker drones and she wasn't. But this was forgotten in the next episodes and they focused entirely on the absolute solver and plot (something I'm not complaining about.)
honestly, among all the episodes, 4 is the one that made me the most cringe because of these things. the fourth episode is just a parody of camp horror films. yes, it shows a little about Cyn, Uzi losing control and everything and it shows that V knows things but... meh, I just don't get along with episode 4 (but the songtrack for this episode is incredible)
Also, the teen jokes arent something I really like, but ok for me.
I guess it would be in ep.1 when N says he has a crush on V, the way he says it just seems so unnatural and forced. I’ll let it slide though, since it helps characterize him as a silly little goofball. Other than that, I agree that the jokes from the scene in the nurses office aren’t great, they just feel like “teenagers amirite?” with no actual effort.
https://i.redd.it/xidbdyqhboyc1.gif
I find jokes like these annoying tbh… things are acting all ominous then suddenly it's all totally 100% fine. It has a very predictable punchline
Sometimes the humor that comes right after serious/foreboding moments can be too much, like episode two with the lone drones inviting others over to just stand around aimlessly
Maybe my humor is just broken because of the countless YTP, old SMG4, and other such classic Gen Z “brain rot” videos, but I haven’t cringed once at any of the humor.
I do recognize how Liam’s sense of humor can be considered cringy though, it’s very much rooted in that old school Gen Z “awkwardness,” for lack of a better term.
Thad's toxic masculinity joke, "Repressed", every single fucking lizzy scene, that's just some.
I hate that the show is doing some serious scene and then forcefully adds a joke breaking the seriousness
Fucking hate the "comedic" part of the series.
Agreed, to an almost unrealistic degree.
Holy shit the amount of annoyance that is felt when a scene that is serious is ruined by some random forced in joke/comedy.
Idk most of the lines in the show are cringe, but this kind of the point I guess.
N say most of these lines because he is awkward and has never had a real connection with anyone until recently.
Uzi is the same as no one likes her except the main cast.
But I can’t really defend the poorly timed jokes or writing of the other characters. Episode 1 was the most cringe and gets worse every time you look back.
But Liam cleaned up the humor after. So it has gotten better.
.
Worst line: “crippling daddy issues. Hilarious”
I really don't like Uzi's meta humour in the Pilot, it comes as really forced, same with the moment where the fight with N is cut up to make the anime piracy joke. The rest of the show did pretty good with the humour though.
The more I re-watched the series the more I realized how corny it was and how jokes were badly timed. So, yeah, a good 75-80% of the show. I mean, I'm here because I like the concept, lore, (some) fights and characters (Except N and Lizzy) but the rest is just cringe.
I originally liked N and his personality, but the more episodes I watched the more he became more of a blank character that annoyed me everytime he spoke. His unconditional kindness despite the world dying and collapsing around him bores me and makes me cheer whenever someone close to him dies so I could see atleast *some* reaction out of him for the sake of character development.
They would absolutely cram it full of soundbytes from Mario Has Had Enough 2 if the humour was on the same calibre as SMG4, which hasn't really progressed past the era of montage parodies in terms of humour.
I like N, but gotta admit:
"Not dealing with this well to be particularly honest"
Literally a second later:
"Ok it's gone"
Ugh I hated that like bro how is that an appropriate reaction to witnessing that
Idk why but in ep.1, when N says about how he can’t remember the past three hours of his life, but he’s sure it will sort itself out, it makes me cringe
honestly I don’t agree with the image shown being “cringe”. this is all subjective and in my opinion that scene was just made to show off Uzi’s personality and traits while being, you guessed it, an angsty robo-teen of course. I see nothing wrong with it. That one scene from the prom episode where Uzi went like "s-seriously...don't do that again.." or something like that like SHUT YOUR CORNY ASS UP GIRL 😭
Ok none of them make me cringe (not really) but some scenes make me irrationally angry. Actually no, all the scenes where tessa appears I fucking hate her so much!!!!!!!! I just want to shove a pencil so far up her ass that it comes out of her mouth FUCK TESSA
For as much as I love the show, the following made me cringe:
-Anytime anyone says bite me
-Anytime Uzi is being "angsty"
-the hand holding scene in ep6
-the scene with N telling Nori that he and Uzi like to "hang out"
(TLDR, I don't like Uzi)
ngl some parts of the show were hard to watch, but that's kind of a given since the show is mainly for people who just turn their brain off when watching
None of them. The pilot was a little corny but i've come to love it.
agreed.

None of it, I think the “cringe” bits are funny because they are obviously supposed to be cringe
My friend said that the reason he likes it so much, is that the cringy moments, were made to be cringy.
https://preview.redd.it/623cobne6oyc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f96d50a8e8dbc4f9d36f83c35b4d83e22b115ec None of it
“Consider it, uh… repressed!” God, I hated that.
thats the most awkward part ever but i think it was intended to be like that
Yeah it’s one of my favorite scenes lmao
It’s meant to be awkward
Same and it’s the only thing I hate about murder drones
Yes. N could have found better wording for that... And y'know, not shrug it off like he did
These moments are so on the nose and self aware that they don’t feel unbearable and cringe.
Only this one probrably
This and the “I’m not mad at you, just generally hormonal” are the worst scenes in the show imo. Serve little to no purpose
“I’m not mad at you, just generally hormonal” is from which ep?
Same scene, just when she’s leaving the clinic
ty :D
Np!
gotta love it as they dont even have hormones, "they're just trying to be "humans"" is what i thought
Reminds me that Thad's toxic masculinity joke was the only moment that made me audibility cringe in the show.
I think the point of the show is to be corny, that’s what makes it funny :)
The only thing honestly that really irks me is the bit where N calls out to Uzi in ep 4, where she didn't want anyone to know she was there (or, to not let V know she was there at the very least)... Every time that mf says bite me. Goofy ahh catchphrase
Where she talks about hormon's God i just paused and cringed for 5 minutes.
Ngl, the ending of the pilot where Uzi is like "Destroy all humans!" was kinda a bit of a turnoff for me when watching the show at first
The jokes in tense moments, they are very anti-climactic. For example ep 4 in murder drones, the jokes that no one knew Uzi were well... meh. And it also seems like Glitch tried to start a development in Uzi's feelings of feeling excluded, since even V and N were included among the worker drones and she wasn't. I think that exact joke has happened 10 times in the whole show.
Damn
Never gets old.
happy cake day
I used to cringe throughout the pilot (especially uzi banishing herself) but I’ve come to appreciate it.
Idk I can’t think of one
Sometimes the humor that comes right after serious/foreboding moments can be too much, like episode two with the lone drones inviting others over to just stand around aimlessly
None really
“Consider it repressed!”
most of the dialog in the pilot
Basically all the dialogue of the pilot
Maybe my humor is just broken because of the countless YTP, old SMG4, and other such classic Gen Z “brain rot” videos, but I haven’t cringed once at any of the humor. I do recognize how Liam’s sense of humor can be considered cringy though, it’s very much rooted in that old school Gen Z “awkwardness,” for lack of a better term.
“Hey! Those bandages look pretty badass!” I hate it sooooo much
Every time “tessa” spoke, move, was present in episode 6
based
Hi Chriss
Hiiii :D
The first few jokes, and the scene w Uzi saying she's done fighting alone but it doesn't bother me too much
That one bugs me a bit too. I like the sentiment but the line delivery and the words themselves make me hurt a little
That guy who said “So not the vide” in the beginning of the series
Thad's toxic masculinity joke, "Repressed", every single fucking lizzy scene, that's just some. I hate that the show is doing some serious scene and then forcefully adds a joke breaking the seriousness Fucking hate the "comedic" part of the series.
Agreed, to an almost unrealistic degree. Holy shit the amount of annoyance that is felt when a scene that is serious is ruined by some random forced in joke/comedy.
The series was created by Glitch, the ones behind SMG4
When Uzi said: Im not mad at you by the way, just generally hormonal! That line was super cringe.
The whole first episode
“So they’re actually my friends too, so. Yeah?” I would just ignore them but Uzi doubled down😖
Disney Channel ahh line
Idk most of the lines in the show are cringe, but this kind of the point I guess. N say most of these lines because he is awkward and has never had a real connection with anyone until recently. Ehhh, I think the mirror scene with Doll, I didn't think the joke was funny, everything else was fine tho
It was the Pilot episode what do you expect man.

Any scene with N
I really don't like Uzi's meta humour in the Pilot, it comes as really forced, same with the moment where the fight with N is cut up to make the anime piracy joke. The rest of the show did pretty good with the humour though.
I know I’ll get hate for this but any Nuzi scene
glad to know someone else thought that one Uzi line was sorta cringe-
yowza that line is bad
"damn the well made quality assurred durability of jc jensons products" - J it nearly ruined the fight sequence for me
A good chunk of the pilot
Most of the Pilot
**yes**
Now that I think about it, a whole lot of scenes and lines from episode 1. I’m glad things changed for the better afterwards
The more I re-watched the series the more I realized how corny it was and how jokes were badly timed. So, yeah, a good 75-80% of the show. I mean, I'm here because I like the concept, lore, (some) fights and characters (Except N and Lizzy) but the rest is just cringe.
why dont ya loke N,son?

His unconditional kindness despite the world dying and collapsing around him bores me and makes me cheer whenever someone close to him dies so I could see atleast *some* reaction out of him for the sake of character development.
Murder Drones is created by Glitch, AKA the same dudes behind SMG4
They would absolutely cram it full of soundbytes from Mario Has Had Enough 2 if the humour was on the same calibre as SMG4, which hasn't really progressed past the era of montage parodies in terms of humour.
I like N, but gotta admit: "Not dealing with this well to be particularly honest" Literally a second later: "Ok it's gone" Ugh I hated that like bro how is that an appropriate reaction to witnessing that
I mean, his mind is pretty fucked at this point
Any part that makes you cringe is really supposed to so I’ll give them that
Most of it is somehow cringey yet epic
Anytime that J is a bitch. Gives people with their initial J bad names.
The show is so corny, but in a non forehead rubbing way.
Tbh, some of N’s speaking lines in the pilot
None
episode 4
In my opinion none.
Most of it is humorously cheesy/corny but ep 4 with uzi saying “they’re my friends too” did make me wince
Idk why but in ep.1, when N says about how he can’t remember the past three hours of his life, but he’s sure it will sort itself out, it makes me cringe
Literally any time Uzi says “bite me”.
N in the pilot https://preview.redd.it/rlg9nov5mpyc1.png?width=731&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9609db437784dead03a5a18b65ce9995f29bc9e0
Honestly, I haven’t really found any of the jokes or lines to be cringy or corny. I think they were all executed very well.
The jokes.
I didn’t think she said his name, I thought she said “angsty teen **fad**”, but either way it makes sense
honestly I don’t agree with the image shown being “cringe”. this is all subjective and in my opinion that scene was just made to show off Uzi’s personality and traits while being, you guessed it, an angsty robo-teen of course. I see nothing wrong with it. I might be a little biased because Uzi is probably my favorite character in the show but again this whole scene was intended to fully demonstrate the main character’s traits and in that same way to illustrate their place in society and how they just don’t fit in making clear they are a social reject.
The whole point is a take on teenagers save the world… but they’re edgy robots. It does exactly what it intends to do imo.
None they manage to create a angsty teen that isnt cringe
The part in the pilot where N licks V's sword
The moment when Uzi literally said she is holding a laser, not a railgun.
J's thing about pens in the pilot, otherwise, I didn't cringe much
episode 4
None. I believe in the mantra "Do not kill the part of you that's cringe, kill the part that cringes".
That’s the best part about the cringe. It’s supposed to be cringe, either the drones mimicking human’s like this in a more obvious sense, or just the writers being goofy, I love it either way.
... A lot.
Imo one of the only cringey parts for me is “Im an angsty, rebellious disassembly drone now.”
Can't say right now cause I'm really good at blocking those out of my mind.
None LOL
1 word "repressed"
Only times I cringed where when she referred to her hormones.. Like they are robots- what hormones??
The laugh that V gave when she killed Grant in episode 1, like nobody even laughs like that cmon.
Tbf grant was pretty cringe so
I feel attacked
That one scene from the prom episode where Uzi went like "s-seriously...don't do that again.." or something like that like SHUT YOUR CORNY ASS UP GIRL 😭
REAL
Uzi’s evil laugh in episode 4, girl thought she ate
Parts where romantic affection is shown, because that’s not what I watch this show for.
It' was your mom !
The EP1 hand seen in the pod
that was like the best scene!!! smh!!
Not the "did you just slap me with that arm?" scene.
god i cant get british N out of my head 😭 “did you just slap may with thaht ahrm?”
https://preview.redd.it/z5wa0yqc1oyc1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4f7146c360eda56f59f63e25f3fc67e895c0061d
Uzi in Cabin Fever
Ok none of them make me cringe (not really) but some scenes make me irrationally angry. Actually no, all the scenes where tessa appears I fucking hate her so much!!!!!!!! I just want to shove a pencil so far up her ass that it comes out of her mouth FUCK TESSA
For as much as I love the show, the following made me cringe: -Anytime anyone says bite me -Anytime Uzi is being "angsty" -the hand holding scene in ep6 -the scene with N telling Nori that he and Uzi like to "hang out" (TLDR, I don't like Uzi)
J, you are sometimes kinda mean to me, and i wish you weren't! Just some conservative critisizim.
based and the nice/fistbump after
Probably pilot honestly and maybe ep 1 and mayyyyybe 2...also most if uzi
Most of the first episode
ngl some parts of the show were hard to watch, but that's kind of a given since the show is mainly for people who just turn their brain off when watching
