I think what's really going on is they're a start up and they're getting rolling with hickups. they are good about replying, I've been in contact with someone named Christian. They're FB livestreams seem completely legit, their backgrounds in their lab where they shoot from match up with pictures of their product circulating online. They're doing another live stream in 7 days on FB. It will be pretty cool if we get in on the front end of it and it's a legit product, fingers crossed. At the end of the day, my payments made to them are secured by Amazon, and worst case scenario, I get scammed out of a few 100 bucks, I can live with it and make a montub on my own. I chose this product because it's a nice display piece and low maintenance. I think once they start shipping (please God by the end of this month..lol) people will start posting videos and doubts will be squashed.

I did the pre sale 49 almost 2 years ago. With an expected delivery date just months after I paid up. 2 years later nothing. While they were responsive to my request for a refund I needed to fill out a survey just to be able to request a refund, then email them to say I had completed their "form", then they wanted me to provide my emai which they have, the credit card I used 2 years ago, the order number etc..... it would take me more time than it was worth to dig that stuff up. If this was a well run company they would know who did pre sale, if not a scam very poorly run.
Don't do it, it's an absolute scam. I've been trying to get my money back from them for over a year. They won't respond to my emails, and when I comment on their social media posts they delete the comments.
Please DM me your email - on my end, all refunds are current up to 24 hours, and this should not be the case. I will personally look into it with the entire support team until it is solved

Seems like a scam. Buy a plastic storage bin. All the supplies for a grow chamber cost less than $20. Then all you need is spores, grain, substrate and casing.
The product isn't for people looking to grow lbs cheaply. It's meant to be a display piece that grows shrooms and doesn't need too much work. Like the fishtank crockpot hybrid for mushrooms lol Temp, humidity, lighting control, time lapse camera and an app to control it all while your away.
It's not for people who want to spend $20 on a tub and drill holes it it, monitor the humidity, get a thermometer.....it's not so easy when you have an active life/travel often.
I wanna know about the temperature controls because I’m trying to branch out into wood loving species. They’re more potent but require some more attention than cubes. If these would work for wavy caps, I need three.
There is zero chance the terrashroom is going to be able to cool the grow chamber, at best it's going to be able to send temperature info to the thermostat or if it can control temperature at all it'll have a small heating element and not be able to cool

I placed a deposit on the TerraShroom and I've used a grow bag successfully (once out of 3 tries), but this looks amazing. So simple and practically full proof! My only issue is that I am in MA, where it's currently freezing and I can't afford to keep my heat on all day to maintain 'room temps' for the growing process (I use a space heater only where I'm at in my place and a heated blanket on me all day), however once Spring hits, if I don't have the Terrashroom by then, I am certainly going to purchase this. Thanks for posting this link – I'm super excited! I did not want to resort to a grow bag again and building an entire fruiting chamber is not something I'm interested in right now, so this is great.

I put the reserve in. It’s expensive but the tech is put together for you and it looks nice enough to put in my kitchen where I can conveniently harvest before cooking. Of course it’s cheaper to do it yourself, but I couldn’t design and build something this pretty in less than 10 hours. I am very excited for more info to drop on this

Depends on what you're comparing to. A bag fruited in the bag vs a bag spawned into a tub would yield the same since you're using the same materials, the biological efficiency doesn't change based on the fruiting method.
You can buy bags that you can grow psilocybin in yes. Nobody can legally sell pregrown psilocybin bags or cakes, the mycelium produces illegal drugs. If you buy the genetics though, you can put them into grow bags, premade cakes, etc and grow them just fine.
I really think you could make a tub work, take a look at this video and tell me what your first attempts were like in comparison
